• María Emilia (10/5): Hermoso departamento - El departamento es espacioso y moderno. Tiene una decoración hermosa. Me dieron ganas de quedarme a vivir ahí (real). Tiene muchas comodidades como lavavajillas, lavarropas y demás. Todo impecable. También si bien no está en zona céntrica se llega fácilmente caminando a las atracciones de Florencia.

Host gentile e dsponibile, ci ha fornito molte indicazioni utili per i ristoranti. Struttura pulita e ordinata. Niente di particolare da segnalare se non due suggerimenti che migliorerebbero l'accoglienza: 1) lasciare una bottiglietta d'acqua per ospite; 2) visto che c'è la moka per il caffe, lascerei anche il caffè per prepararla. Per il resto tutto ok.

Pościel na łóżkach nie mam pewności czy była zmieniana. Mieszkanie nie posprzątane. W nocy głośno i w miesiącach zimowych zimno.

Cerca no hay lugares para cenar, pero podes cocinar en el departamento tiene todo y súper cómodo. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue precisa y dinámica. Tiene todo para una linda estadía

The hot water in the shower barely lasted for more than 20 seconds, however I found this an issue in all the places I stayed at in Italy so perhaps it's a thing there and not problem specifically with this unit.

L’accueil de l’hôte a été remarquable : il a pris le temps de nous montrer l’appartement et a été d’une grande gentillesse. À prévoir : plusieurs étages à monter et une douche dont l’eau chaude varie parfois.
• CRISTINA (9/5): Tranquilo y muy completo - Muy amplio, tenía todo lo que se necesita para estar bien en un lugar, nos fue muy útil la lavadora. Está un poco retirado del centro, caminando son 25 minutos, pero en tren son 5 minutos

• Xiaomei (9/5): Spacious convenient and value for money - Spacious apartment with good aircon. 1.7 km from Cathedral, 2.3km from Uffizi, 1.3km from Academy Gallery. If you can walk, it is a good location. Downstairs there is a good bakery for breakfast, but not open on Sunday. Carrefour is 300m away. Owner is helpful. Nothing particularly. It is on fourth floor with no lift. Heavy lift is required if you bring big suitcases.
• Alina (10/5): Great stay close to the center - The apartment was clean and very comfortable. It looks just like in the pictures. It is quite quiet for Florence, but it is still facing a street so if you are light sleeper earplugs can help (but noise is really not a major disturbance). Air conditioning in both rooms made it very pleasant, especially when temperatures outside reached 38 degrees. The location is great, 15-20 min walking distance to the dome. Several restaurants and grocery shops close by. The communication with the host went smoothly. The water temperature is indeed rather difficult to get right, it is either cold or scorching hot, so might be worth to have a loom whether this could be fixed. By far not a dealbreaker for me personally, but as mentioned by other travellers, the access to the apartment is via a set of quite narrow stairs, so if you have a lot of heavy luggage or mobility issues this may not be very easy. I did not have a car but it looked like street parking was relatively easily available. Overall it was a very nice stay, enjoyed it very much. I would definitely book this apartment again if I return to Florence.

• Sebastian (9/5): Superb - Very good size apartment, in a quiet zone near Donatello square / green space, not too far from the city center. Comfortable bed and sofa, plenty of storage space, well equipped kitchen, nice decorations (a special mention for the one about the dog breeds !). Good bakery and good coffee bar in the proximity, minimarket and supermarket available at walking distance. Good recomandations for restaurants in the city received from the owner upon our request. Really good price for the size and the quality of the apartment, especially compared to the prices level in Florence (but for that we had to book about 6 months in advance ...) The apartment is situated on the top floor of a building with no elevator (we were aware about that), so big and / or heavy luggage are not reccomanded. The toilet seat in the bathroom is a little cramped, so not very suitable for the "heavyweight" category people :) Also, the heating system needs maintenance work, because it is difficult to regulate and keep a constant water temperature at the taps. Not the property's problem, but the buses are not too reliable in Florence (so, beside walking, the other possible option would be just the 2 tram lines, which unfortunately don't cover the central area).

To aeroport or main train station best way to tike tram 2 to Botanical garden. Cost 1.7 plus one extra ticket for luggage. Tram goes Avery 6 min, tickets on platform . Not clean cover on bed.

• Anastasia (8/5): Comfortable, but located on the 3rd floor with no elevator. - The host was very responsive to messages and met us at the agreed arrival time with the keys. The apartment was comfortable and felt like home. The bed has a good quality mattress. The kitchen is fully equiped, so you can cook. We missed having a hand towel in the bathroom. The bathroom could use some renovation, especially the shower. The water pressure in the shower was rather low. We were three people but had only one set of keys. It would have been much more convenient to have two sets of keys for greater independence. The apartment is on the third floor, and there is no elevator. I wouldn't recommend it for people with reduced mobility.
• Nataliia (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is in a quiet place, next to the old English cemetery, I recommend you definitely visit it. The store is 4 minutes away. The apartment is very clean and amazed by its atmosphere and most importantly, there is heating! This is rare for Europe. Next time I will definitely stay there.

• Adam (7/5): A lovely stay in an apartment which had all you would need for a short trip away in a good location. Check-in/check- - Large open space with a kitchen and living room made it a comfortable stay. Close enough to the sights and centre of Florence that you can walk but far enough away that it is a peaceful neighbourhood. Pillows were a little uncomfortable and air con in bedroom took a while to cool the room.
• David (6/5): Not comfortable. - Location Shower water pressure very low. Water some time very hot & cold, very unstable. Result uncomfortable shower. Should change shower head & solve the water pressure & water temperature issue. Everything in the house looks old. The bedsheets & towel smells.

• Thomas (10/5): Spacious apartment in a silent living area - Beautiful and spacious apartment close to Campo di Marte train station (which is a 5min train stop from Santa Maria Novella). Located in a very silent living area this 2 room apartment with a fully equipped kitchen served us as our home for a short trip to Florence. It's a 25min walk to the Duomo which is just close enough. The owner took care to make sure we easily get the keys despite arriving on Easter Sunday. We stayed only two nights, especially for a longer stay i would definitely recommend.
• Emily (6/5): Fantastic apartment with great facilities, only spoilt by the mosquitos - Really great space and facilities with excellent host, added benefit of heating in cold and wet weather! Although the apartment is set out of town and up some stairs, providing you are mobile it is easy to walk into the centre (about 30 mins from train station) While not necessarily the fault of the host, we were eaten alive by mosquitoes (and presume previous guests may have been too as we walked in to them splatted on the wall). While there were nets on some windows, I couldn’t find any protection on the bedroom window and as such every night we were bitten lots making it an unpleasant sleeping experience. Also for city tax you need cash, which we didn’t have, so had to withdraw money at a machine and the only one in the local area charged per transaction

The location is also good, we could walk to all the main touristic places and attractions, also very easy to come from and go to the airport. Carlos was a great host, easy to communicate, and everything during our stay went smoothly. We would definitely stay at Casa al 4 again. Loved everything!

The apartment was extremely clean and spacious. There was a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. It’s is located in a quiet, safe area just outside the main city of Florence so we were able to walk to all of the sites. The AC worked very well and kept the apartment cool during a hot summer visit. I don’t have anything negative to say about the apartment. We had a fantastic stay! (We knew in advance that the apartment was located in an upper floor without a lift, so it would be tricky for people with mobility issues.)

• Tiff (10/5): Great Apartment close to the train station! - Carlo was an excellent host and the apartment was fantastic! We arrived from the Firenze Campo Di Marte train station and it was a quick 8 min walk to get to the apartment. Carlo met us there with 5 mins notice and showed us everything. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and comfortable! We walked to everywhere from the apartment with the furthest walk being about 30 mins to cross over into the Oltrarno neighborhood. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Florence.

Carlo is flexible and helpful. - I am really pleased with our stay and would definitely return myself and recommend Casa al 4 to others. Carlo was extremely kind and thoughtful. We communicated a few times before my arrival and he was always quick to reply and find solutions, for example allowing me to add people to my reservation when friends decided to join me. A few days before my stay he provided very detailed instructions to the flat (Note that it is a 30min walk over cobblestones from the main train station, Santa Maria Novella, but if you arrive there by train you can switch and take a second train to the Campo di Marte station for no cost. From Campo Di Marte it is a 6 minute walk on nicely paved sidewalks). The flat was clean and had all the essentials plus a number of perks which most holiday flats don't provide, such as lots of clothes hangers, organizers for clothing storage, places to hang drying clothes, plenty of storage space in the bathrooms, a coat hanger in the foyers, a full kitchen with plenty of pots and pans of all sizes, extra utensils for cooking, scissors, toaster, coffee pot (I don't know the right way to say it, the one Italians use to cook it on the stove, not a nespresso machine), etc. There were photos on the walls and plants to give it a homey feeling. Everything was fresh and new, much of it from Ikea. Carlo gave me a special magnetic key which allowed me to recycle everything across the street (paper, plastic, organic/compost, metal, glass, etc). The kitchen had basics like sugar/salt/tea and the bathroom had soap/shampoo/blow dryer. There were some tour guide books and maps in different languages we could borrow. We really liked that there were two independent rooms (a bedroom with TV and chair, then a living room with a sofa bed) plus a separate kitchen and bathroom. It was no problem to checkout early for a 6:30am flight. The main bed was extremely comfortable. The guests who used the fold-out sofa bed found it a bit squeaky and only as comfortable as you would expect a sofa bed to be (fine for a few nights but not as comfortable as home of course). The only possible downside is the location. To be clear, it was exactly what I was expecting and appropriate for me. It is just outside the center, so about a 20-25min walk from most of the central attractions. But it might not be ideal for someone with limited mobility (then again, there are a number of bus stops within a block of the flat). It is also on the 4th floor without a lift/elevator. So if that is an issue, you might want to look elsewhere. But we are healthy and enjoy walking. Having previously stayed in Florence in a ground floor flat in the center, where the noise woke me up constantly and I couldn't leave the windows open because of safety reasons, I really preferred this location, both being out of the center and higher up.

The rooms were spacious and the bathroom too. We had a nice view of Florence up in that fourth floor. We definitely loved our stay here. The building doesn't have an elevator so carrying up our luggage was a bit hard, but not too bad. We were 3 people and the second room was the living room. The sofa-bed from the living room was spacious but not very comfortable. Overall though, it was great value for money.

• Stella (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very cosy,clean and close to the historic centre-10 min walk to the Duomo.There is all needed for a short or long stay,has even el.kettle and tea box for tea lovers.The landowner gives very good instructions how to reach the place by train from the central station. The bedroom is quite big,the bed and the pillows are super comfortable. Florence is a magical place! The only negative is that there is no elevator to the third floor but it's Firenze after all.

• David (10/5): Great place to stay - This is a lovely little apartment which is within a 25 minute walk of the Duomo. A perfect base for exploring beautiful Florence. Just far enough to walk off the food and chianti at the end of the night. My advice-if arriving into the central train station jump in a taxi. It’s only a 35 minute walk but that’s a slog in the heat over cobbled streets. Carlo is a great host and very responsive by Wattsapp. There isn’t anything to dislike. Perhaps not suitable for those who struggle with a staircase. It’s on the top floor and there is no lift.
• Linz (10/5): the best you can get in Florence! - It was like coming home. we arrived early, but we could leave our luggage while Carlo was cleaning the apartment. when we came back, the whole apartment smelt sooo fresh. Also 10/10 for the bed, the first night we slept for 10 hours straight! 😁 Carlo is also the nicest person. really the best you can get in Florence. Don’t sleep on it. If you want a clean, nice whole apartment for yourself just out of but close enough to the crowdy center, this is the place to be! See you soon Carlo! ❤️ Nothing. everything was perfect!
