Guest Reviews
- claudia Argelia (10/5): Horario de check in y check out - La ubicación perfecta para turistear.

- Shelly (10/5): Comfortable and cozy casa in amazing piazza location! - The location is amazing!! The piazza the apartment is located in has some really great spots for dinner, aperitivo, gelato! Very happening place! Laura was very accessible and available through what's app. She gave very detailed directions with pictures to help with location and check in, etc. We stayed here with our two teenagers. This space was a little smaller than others we used while in Italy but it was all very comfortable. We used the washing machine with no problems and found all we needed in the apartment. It didn't bother us but the area is loud because of all the great restaurants located around the piazza and Florence comes alive around 10:00pm. We just turned up our noise makers on our phone!
- Ilaria (9/5): - Ottima posizione, casa pulita e accogliente Mancava la tv
- Valeriia Feshchenko (8/5): - A wonderful apartment - pretty cosy and stylish. The host has provided all the necessary instructions for the apartment access, so that wasn't a problem at all. The location was superb. Despite the heating and AC it was chilly in the apartment and the bathroom could do with slight renovations. Still, overall pleasant experience

- spiriandreea (10/5): - Apartamentul arată că in poze, paturile sunt confortabile, gazda este de mare ajutor, ne a facitilat parcarea mașini in zona ZTL. ----

- Geeta (9/5): Excellent, would def - Amazing location! The best gelato in the city is right next door! Also 5encinque restaurant was one of our best meals! A little outdated and small bathroom but totally fine for a few days. Washing machine needs to be replaced.
- Deirdre (9/5): A lovely week in a beautiful apartment in a fabulous city, we will return. - Excellent location in a small, lively piazza close to all the main attractions. The apartment was spacious for two of us and very comfortable and well equipped. The double bed was fine for one person but the mattress on one side was very worn so it may not have been comfortable for two.
- Genevieve (9/5): Superb -
- Rosezane (8/5): Great location - Location was great & we had everything we needed 😊 Kitchen was well stocked, enabling us to save money by eating in. The double bed mattress was sunken both sides and you could feel the springs 😟
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- Lora (10/5): It truly was a perfect spot for my cousin and myself. We felt safe and verycomfortable - Location, location, location!!!!
- Elise (9/5): Great location, great apartment! - Loved the location, the San Spirito area has so much charm. The apartment was a good size. So close to all the sites, we walked everywhere. The tavern downstairs was delicious (great pizza and pasta) and the icecream shop just nearby is awesome. There’s a washing machine for clothes, so great after we we’re traveling for a while. Nothing, we enjoyed our stay.
Would be good if laundry liquid and pegs were provided.
- Angela (8/5): Good location, clean, with a cosy and homey feel. - Very conveniently located. Nice rustic and homey vibe. We were unable to store our luggage at the property before check in which meant we had to pay for luggage storage at a storage facility. But our host did provide helpful information about a nearby luggage storage point. The beds and pillows could have been more comfortable and the shower was very small.
- Wiegold (6/5): The pictures made the property look a lot more spacious than it actually is. - The location was really good. It was very noisy. The restaurant and bars in the street were open late. You could hear people talking and yelling late into the morning. The property actually had a damp smell and there was a problem with mosquitoes.
- Côme (7/5): Good - Laura is very reactive. location is great. possibility to cook is really nice. wifi is not fast enough and sometimes stop for a few seconds. improving it is not to difficult and can significantly enhance the guest experience.
the flat is noisy in the evening due to the proximity of restaurants(which are great).. some better windows can largely improve the situation.
- Walling (10/5): Wonderful place to stay for the family - The apartment was very clean and well kept. Everything worked and we enjoyed our stay. Make sure to get a breakfast pastry and coffee at Cafe degli Artigiani right next door Not a complaint because it is what it is, but if you're tall watch out for the short door frames.
- Shahadah (8/5): I loved everything about this listing except the bathroom, but even that wasn't a big deal. - The aesthetics of the kitchen was so cute and entry way, and bedroom, as well as the outside the home. The area had lots of beautiful, seasonal produce everywhere so I defiantly recommend cooking while you stay since there is a working kitchen. The check in and check out is easy. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The apartment is located in the heart of Florence, though it is down a quiet street so walking distance from everything without all the noise and tourists. There is a restaurant with vegan options right in front then a produce stand down the same road. The bathroom didn't have many toiletries. The shower was tiny, especially for such a large bathroom. There is a washer but no laundry soap. The larger bed is 2 twin beds pushed together but one of the mattresses is very uncomfortable so you only ended up sleeping on a twin vs a queen.
- Richardq (8/5): Lovely location to local non-touristy restaurants. Good value with easy walking access to key sights - Easy access from train station on C4 bus. Nice restaurant, gelateria, wine bar and cafe (Ditta Artiginale) next to the Piazza/Apartment location. Supermarket options 3-4minute walk.
Clothes horse to dry clothes.
Tea/Coffee facilities.
Secure, safe accommodation. Bit noisy from nearby laneway/restaurant(s) - usually winds down after 10:30pm, but early morning street cleaning can be heard.
Embarrassed to say, but a better TV would have been nice to catch-up on world news (and other interests).
- Audrey (8/5): Spacious apartment in the first floor - Spacious, clean and well equipped. There is an excellent ice cream joint nearby Was asked to remove rubbish but was not told where we can dump the rubbish. It’s a typical Airbnb rules. We thought we had avoided Airbnb. Bit of noise from the bars close by.
- John (8/5): Very good - The location is absolutely fabulous with easy walking distance to all the sites you'll want to see. Great restaurants close by, wine bars and gelatorias steps from the front door, and supermarket also very close. Everything as convenient as could possibly be.
- Chloe (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a perfect location - The location of Casa Laura was perfect! Laura was really helpful and sent lots of details of things to do in Florence prior to our stay. I would definitely come back to Casa Laura and will be recommending it to others!
- Shelly (8/5): short but sweet stay in clean air conditioned apartment with comfortable beds - Great location. Amazing gelatto super closeby. Apartment had an old-fashioned Italian feel, which is why we chose it. If you like to sleep with your family all in one room, then you will love it. Air Conditioning was so appreciated with the 95 degree heat outside in July. Botanical Gardens are within perfect walking distance. Do not rely on taxis to take you to the airport, as manager suggested. Hire a private car. Taxis do not schedule pick-ups ahead of time and none were available for a full 2 hours during the time that we called each company. So we had to walk to the train station (with all of our luggage) and get a taxi from there.
- Olga (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Cute and comfortable apartment. Spacious, nicely clean.
The location is superb - Ponte Vecchio just around the corner.
The owners are very helpful.
- Dennis (9/5): Perfect spot to discover Florence - Perfect location, spacious and nicely decorated. Many nice restaurants and gelato just next door and everything else easily accessible by foot. It is quite noisy from the streets below because the windows are not well insulated. Also, the appartement is very warm (it feels like the floor heating is turned on all the time), so the aircon needs to be on all the time when your are there.
- Kieran (8/5): Local neighbourhood but easy walking distance to tourist spots - Located in a lovely neighbourhood. Really close to tourist spots but sufficiently away from the most busy areas. It’s located on a small piazza with cafés, bars restaurants. The nearby hospitality spots mean it is loud at nighttime
- Fabrizio (9/5): Superb - The whole apartment especially the living room The fact that there are 2 identic address numbers
- Rachel (10/5): The perfect Florence apartment. - The location was fantastic, it was very clean and it had great restaurants right on the same street.
- Alison (8/5): Very good -
- Lita (9/5): Superb - Casa Laura was a perfect travel hub for us in Florence. All the main sight-seeings are within walking distance, and some good places to eat are just around the corner. Laura as the host has equipped the kitchen and the bathroom with all essentials, including such non-evident things as cotton pads. The flat is situated in the old building but it is beautifully decorated. There were some problems with the hot water when we arrived but Laura solved the issue fast. Overall, we found our stay very pleasant! It can be a little bit cold at night but you can find some extra blankets in the wardrobe.
- Yeji (10/5): Best place to stay in florence!! - It was in wonderful location with full of delicious restaurants nearby. Apartment was very spacious, clean with warm environment. The house owner is very kind and helpful.
- Anna (9/5): Fantastic location and apartment - it’s right on a little square with restaurants and bars and ice cream shop. 100m away from the bridge. it’s absolutely lovely decorated! The only thing I would say is that the beds are really hard, but it’s a common trend in Italy. It is close to a carpark too which was awesome for us as we were travelling by car. Great place to stay while visiting Florence hard beds
- Dorothea (10/5): We were very happy at Casa Laura and would definitely recommend it! - The property was clean and comfortable. We also liked the location.
- Anonymous (10/5): A true Florentine experience - I loved this place. It felt like a setting for a romantic movie. The position couldn't be better, between Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio. It was impeccably clean, there was everything we might need. The owner was extremely kind and offered help. ---
