• Natalie (9/5): Excellent location and beautiful accomodation, but be aware of the noise in a city centre. - The property is great and in a perfect location for exploring Florence. The contact from the host was excellent and we had no issues with access etc. Unfortunately the noise travels due to the narrow streets and tall buildings and this can really impact your stay. However you are in the very centre so this is to be expected but the ground level noise does go on until the early hours, followed by the shops below opening their shutters early and the street cleaners etc.

Expectations exceeded. - The property was much, much bigger than we had expected with so much room for our family of 6. It's a beautiful property with all the amenities to make for a very comfortable stay. The decor was beautiful and the location was perfect. The home is in the middle of restaurants, bars, people walking, and only 5-15 minute walks to major sites. The host was very nice and checked in on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed. We stayed at 3 difference properties during our tour of Italy, and our kids loved this property the best! We highly recommend this to anyone and we will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to beautiful Florence! We loved everything about the property!
• Amanda (10/5): Birthday trip. - We all loved the apartment. Very spacious for six of us. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The location is fantastic and close to all major attractions and restaurants. The train station was also only a short walk away for our trips to Siena and Pisa. We wouldn't hesitate in staying again and look forward to returning. It was noisy till quite late but thats to be expected when staying in such a central location.

• michael (9/5): Absolute gem in the heart of Florence would stay there again. - Absolutely beautiful apartment stayed there with my family of seven, my wife and I are five young adult children. It’s close to everything and it’s a great value. The only issue we had was the water pressure in the showers and in the bath was so weak. It was difficult to take a shower. Not sure if that is a city problem or something in the apartment that can be fixed. Everything else was great!

• Kathy (8/5): Great Location to get around Florence if you can handle the noise at night. - The property is in the city center but you will need earplugs to get any sleep! The streets are busy till well after 3PM and the tall buildings with narrow streets cause an amplification and an echo chamber. We spoke to the shopkeepers and they told us it is a typical city issue. The large apt was perfect for our group and we adjusted after buying wax silicone earplugs. Tastefully decorated and Francesca was very attentive to our questions. Would stay again even with the noise issue. The noise outside that echoes inside the apt. It was unexpected. I see now that other reviews mentioned it. The internet was constantly going down.

• Glenn (9/5): Lovely and comfortable apartment in a fantastic location. - Location was excellent. Tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space for our family of 7. Oteega staff were delightful to deal with and responded quickly. Overall a lovely experience and would stay there again. It was super hot (mid 90’s) while we were there and the AC in the upstairs room would not cool the room at all. Oteega staff came out to look but we could never get the room to cool. Also, ice trays to make ice to put in our water bottles would have been nice. If it wasn’t so hot, neither of these would have been an issue.
• Adriana (4/5): Unless you’re on late party mode, skip it. - It’s centrally located. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine. The sofas were comfy and the apartment is big and nice. It’s located on the “way” to many bars and one of them across the street. Windows are old and not soundproof thus you hear loud music and endless conversations until past 2:00am. AC units were tricky and not working properly to cool or mute the noise so we used our iPhone’s white noise on high. Unfortunately it was the start of our trip and we never rested enough to get over the jet lag :(

Beautifully decorated, nice bottle of wine on the counter when we arrived, host was in touch if we needed her, plenty of space for our family of 6 to have some time on their own if needed. Great location, as well. Would 110% stay here again. As other reviewers have stated: the apt is near a bar that stays open until 2am, and the noise is horrific without earplugs. We came equipped, but you could still hear it - I'd suggest noise cancelling headphones if you have them! But, it wouldn't deter us from staying here again.

The apartment was very spacious, clean, and felt very authentic to the area. Me and my family all had our private rooms and that was great. Walking distance to almost everything that is popular around Florence. The noise level was really bad. There wasn’t really a relaxing moment in the apartment. We were very close to a bar so that brought in a crowd of noisy drunks. After a long exhausting day of travel, trying to sleep was very difficult and me and my family barely got any sleep which was unfortunate. Every minute there were loud cars, people, street cleaning. The noise really never stopped.

We liked the coffee shop around the corner (the Milkaria) . Apartment was huge. Door to apartment was a little difficult but we managed. Didn’t use the terrace, it was dirty from the birds.
• Tia (10/5): We will always remember our stay in Florence in this stunning apartment! - Fabulously appointed apartment in great central location close to all the attractions. We were a family group of 7 and the 3 doubles and one twin room plus 3 bathrooms were perfect. Beautiful high ceilings throughout and a great sense of space. Yes it was noisy at night but we expected that from reading previous reviews. Take your earplugs if you’re a light sleeper and you’ll be fine plus the beds were super comfy! Great that there is a lift (even though we were on the first floor) but those in our party with knee problems really appreciated not having to use the stairs. We liked everything about the apartment!

• Russell (9/5): Great home base for a medium-size group in Florence. - Gorgeous and unique interior with tons of space. This unit is very convenient to the Duomo and everything else in central Florence. Unfortunately that does mean that street noises carry very clearly into the apartment well into the night (about 2 am). The terrace entrance is through the bathroom. It’s a historic building, so the layout is quirky.
• Elaine (6/5): Mixed - good location, beautiful place but very loud neighborhood. - property was big, clean and very nice. Convenient to Duomo and all main attractions, restaurants. Long but feasible walk to the train, etc. location was extremely loud and hot. air conditioners did not work well in all rooms. had difficulty sleeping due noise late at night and then very early in the AM. Needed to open the windows because air conditioning didn't work well but then noise was worse. Washer / Dryer combo unit which means it takes many hours to do a load of laundry - 7 hours. That made laundry really not feasible on a 2 night stay.

• Carolyn (9/5): Luxurious accommodation in the heart of Florence - this place is gorgeous and spacious. it is impeccably decorated and having 3 bathrooms was ideal for our family parrots and 3 adult kids. the noise on the street was constant.

• Erika (9/5): Superb - The apartment is beautiful and in a great part of town that allows a quick walk to all the major attractions. The host was very accommodating for our last minute booking facilitating a quick and easy check in. It was very loud at night. The windows to not provide and noise protection. You can hear conversations down in the street. There is a bar/restaurant down the street that is open until 2am so there was noise from that and then noise after from people leaving the bar and hanging in the streets until 3 am most days.

• Larijus (5/5): Passable - Place close to the center. Spacious apartment with the old city spirit. Was clean, but not in the terrace. Noisy. Street outside calms down at 2 am, wakes up at 5 am. Parking is not comfortable. Check out is at 10am. Its to early, when you come with kids and dont have a possibility to rest normaly at night. Owner or administrator, I dont know, who was it, is not flexible enough. We were disapointed.
