• Karcsics (7/5): Perfect location, with strong compromises - The location is perfect, the main attractions are within walking distance. The staff is really nice. Communication is also smooth. We arrived an hour early and were allowed in. We were in Istanbul on rainy days and it was cold, but the heating worked very well, so we were very grateful. When we asked for a frying pan, they responded immediately and brought it. They also tried to fix the wifi, although unfortunately they didn't succeed. The bed was perfect for us. Cleanliness was adequate. The apartment, in our opinion, is not 25 mm, possibly including the external terrace. The apartment with the terrace is on the 4th floor, you have to go up a lot of spiral stairs. It didn't cause us any problems, but those who arrive with suitcases will not be happy. The door height is extremely low, you can only enter by bending over. The kitchen equipment is extremely, extremely poor, we have never been in such a poorly equipped kitchen. What is there is also disappointing: only plastic, advertising plates, not a single sharp knife, normal-sized glass. There was only one (!) pot. We asked for a frying pan, they brought it the next day as soon as they could. This definitely needs to be improved, this is definitely not an acceptable standard. And no matter how nice the hosts are, if I can't make an omelette, because there is nothing in it. They also "fit" to put basic supplies such as salt. It costs pennies, we had to buy 1 kg now, although we only used a maximum of one teaspoon in total. It's annoying and you have to carry it home. We couldn't connect to the wifi many times, the signal is very weak. Even when we managed to, it dropped us quickly. We were on the top floor, we think the router must have been somewhere on the lower floor and/or there were a lot of people on it. (?) This also needs to be improved, they "promised" this to us, but it didn't work even after the requested adjustment. This is also a basic expectation these days. An apartment in the basement was renovated in the house. It's also FIT to indicate this, they usually give a discount in such cases, because a tourist doesn't want to hear sawing, loud tile cutting, etc., they come to rest. Especially they don't want to hear noise on SUNDAY!!!! There is a staircase leading down to this basement apartment on the street. A "manhole". It's life-threatening!

• Olena (7/5): Fair price for the apartment. - Location - close to the main traveller's spots and easy to get from IST airport using transfer bus; view from the last floor; price; host attitude - welcoming and understanding. Building's pin on google map and other maps services was inaccurate. Also, on those maps services the building's pictures were misleading. Apartment's name plate on the building does not catch the eye. Only Apple maps showed the correct location of the building. I have personal concern about the condition of the bed linen — I would say it's only satisfactory. It is also worth paying attention to the condition of the drain in the shower on the top floor.

It’s on the 4th floor with no lift, but there’s a small terrace with a lovely Bosphorus view. The WiFi could be improved, as it often disconnected for long periods. The owner and his son were very kind and reliable, and they kindly stored our luggage after checkout. Розташування ідеальне, дуже близько як до транспорту, так і до основних визначних місць. Все в рамках 3-10 хвилин. Просто, але чисто. Зручне ліжко і в цьому ж будинку є невеличкий мінімаркет,що рідкість в тому районі.кому потрібно цінувати свій час це саме воно. Для мене нема

• Martyna (9/5): - Bardzo miły właściciel z którym bez problemu można bylo się skontaktować. Świetna lokalizacja obiektu pozwalająca na zwiedzenie najważniejszych zabytków na piechotę. W pokoju można sobie zrobić kawę, herbatę i zjeść śniadanie. Właściciel nie robił też żadnego problemu, ze musieliśmy opuścić pokój w środku nocy, żeby zdążyć na samolot. Gorąco polecam!

• Carolina (9/5): - La muy buena ubicación. Dos habitaciones separadas. Y la buen atención a la llegada. Camas cómodas y espacio suficiente para guardar y con espejos. Los q viajamos mucho en familia hay pequeñas cosas q valoramos mucho sobretodo espejos y sitios donde colocar las cosas. El baño es muy pequeño pero nos hemos apañado. Quizás algunas pequeñas cosas q arreglar del baño porque sale agua de la ducha también del lavabo al mueble y la cisterna se queda pillada. Las almohadas muy grandes para nuestro gusto.

• Jean-michel (9/5): Appartement idéal pour visiter à pied le centre historique d'Istanbul ! - Emplacement exceptionnel dans le centre historique, à deux pas de la Mosquée bleue. Les principaux points d'intérêt sont très facilement accessibles à pied (Sainte-Sophie, Grand Bazar, Citerne basilique, Palais de Topkapi). L'appartement est situé dans une rue calme et l'hôte est très sympathique. La douche est un peu capricieuse (passe rapidement du chaud au froid et inversement).

Avoid this disgusting and dirty hotel/apartment if you care about your health. There was a significant amount of black mold in the bathroom. So much you can smell it. Black mold is highly toxic. The good location and price is not worth taking years off your life. Stay healthy and avoid at all costs. I had to pay for another hotel and they would not refund.

The location is fantastic – just a short walk to all major tourist attractions like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and very close to the metro. The heating works great, which was especially important during my stay. The apartment itself is small, and the dining area can feel a bit tight when eating indoors, but that’s common in Istanbul – most meals are enjoyed outside anyway. The only downside for me was the noise in the early morning – being so close to the mosques means you’ll hear the call to prayer at dawn, which could be an issue if you’re not used to it. The host was excellent – very helpful and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a central and affordable stay in Istanbul.

• Navarrete (9/5): Great Hospitality and Convenience in Istanbul - The apartment has everything you need if you're just looking for a place to sleep. It has an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque. It's on the third floor—my mother has some mobility issues, but it wasn't a problem at all. The rooms are very cozy, and all the bedding was in excellent condition. The heating also worked very well. Transportation from the airport is quite easy. We arrived late, and the owner was kind enough to wait for us. He welcomed us to Istanbul with a big smile and showed us everything. On the corner, there's a great souvenir shop where we were treated very well. We bought many things at better prices and with more security than in any market. There's also a very nice café nearby where you can have breakfast before heading out to explore. Without a doubt, I would rent this place again if I have the chance to return to Turkey. Thank you very much! The only downside is the bathroom. It's quite small, smells a bit musty, and the shower leaked water. But as I mentioned, if you're just looking for a place to shower and spend the day exploring, it's a great option.

The rooms are small, but more than enough for the price that we paid and for our needs. The location is perfect, directly behind the Blue Mosque. Bed and bathroom are clean, there is a hair dryer and towels, a small kitchen with fridge. The house is in a quiet street, so we could sleep very well. Rooms and bathroom are small, but ok. The sofa-bed is a bit unstable.

Just noting that the flat does not have a table in the common space. Perfectly fine for us as we were only there to sleep and explore the area. Parking of a vehicle is a big concern if you are going with your own car. Nearby parking charges 20 Euros per day. • Payanam (7/5): It was a pleasant stay. No major issues - It’s literally in the heart of sultanahmet square. We were able to walk everywhere so easily and there were plenty of choices to eat. Our apartment was up a narrow staircase with no elevators. So it’s tricky if you have a lot of luggage. The facilities are basic and kitchen was scantily furnished. It was much smaller than anticipated in the pictures. The power cut in the middle of a hot day meant there was no a/c. That was a shock to the system.

The neighborhood is safe and accessible with many friendly people — would definitely recommend! Just be prepared to walk up a few flights of narrow stairs with luggage. So elderly and people with small children can comfortably stay here. The host is waiting outside so no problem. We were also allowed to check in earlier. Btw, whoever done the cleaning, she should be given top salary. The apartment was super clean every where. There is kitchen but we were not allowed to cook fish or meat. Cook rice only. In the description there was washing machine, but in reality, it was not accessible to guest. We were offered laundry with a price that we thought a bit pricey.

The main Mosques were five minutes away on foot. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. Reasonably quiet at night. Good air conditioning. Kitchen was good as was the bathroom. The host Fehmi was really polite, friendly and helpful especially when our cab was late. He spoke on our behalf to the cab driver on the phone as he had got lost in the traffic and was late. The traffic was horrendous at peak times during rush hour. I would highly recommend anyone staying in this area to book an early cab at least an hour or two earlier than usual. We just managed to catch our flight thanks to our amazing cab driver.

• Artur (1/5): Not worth the money. The apartment is subpar. The host is not hospitable. - Upon arrival, the host helped to lift our suitcases (5th floor, no elevator). Beds were okay. The host responded to my communications either slowly or not at all, ignoring my messages. I had to double-ask. I didn't feel like he cared and wanted to help. Impressions on the apartment from my wife and mama, who stayed there: - Canalization stink in the toilet - Kitchen utensils are incomplete and cheap. Nothing like tea/coffee or napkins - Just two shower towels and one small towel for two persons for three nights - Photos looks much better than in real - 5th floor and no lift (spiral staircase)
• Sorin (8/5): OK apartment in excellent location - First and foremost, the excellent location. That's mainly why I gave this location a high score. In just 150m or so, there is the Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome. Then there is Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. The bazaars are also around 1km away. We also found a restaurant/fast-food with good prices and good food called Razim in the area. There is also a minimarket just around the corner. Oh, and it's sufficiently far from the mosques' speakers. The father of the owner, Mr Fehmi, is a very nice person. He also reserved some parking spots for us right in front of the building for 6 euro per day. Overall, it was a nice stay. The bathroom is tiiiiny. That's probably one of the biggest downsides. One day a bad odor came from the kitchen sink. Not too bad, but a little bit unpleasant. The kitchen stove is old and rusty and needs to be replaced. Thankfully, there is a kettle. Not too well equipped. For example we didn't find an iron and there were only a few napkins available. The windows didn't seem to close perfectly. They let a little bit more noise inside than they should have. But I am perhaps a bit picky here. In the end, none of these downsides were too bad. As I said, we had a nice stay there.

• Mohammad (6/5): Pleasant - Location, we loved. Apartment is tiny. It's not for 6 adults for 3 adults is good

• Geoff (8/5): Great location, yet very quiet - Fabulous location, quiet Suggest block out curtains as the thin curtains allow all the street light in.

• Thomas (9/5): Unbeatable location, friendly host - Great for a city break - Fantastic location: enabled you to see all the sights of the golden horn by foot. Host was friendly and flexible regarding the check-out process. Having access to the terrace was a nice addition in the evenings. Not a complaint but modernization of property, especially the bathroom, would benefit it - this doesn't take away from the stay however. Perhaps a sign outside the property as it was initially a little difficult to find - again, not something that took away from the stay.
• Tanja (9/5): Superb - We stayed for a week and loved this little place with our own roof terrace and sea view. It is modest but has everything you need. Quiet, perfect location and friendly host. Absolutely a great place for this price.
• Widish (8/5): Great location - Very convenient location. Close to sultanhamet plaza, stores, restaurants, currency exchange. Place was too small for more than 2 people. It is also up 3 flights of stairs
