• Iago (10/5): Hospitalidad en una ubicación privilegiada - Muy buena zona, cerca del centro para hacer turismo y a la vez tranquila, sin ruidos nocturnos ni grandes aglomeraciones por el día. La pensión cuenta también con bar restaurante abierto todo el día y a buen precio y comida rica para poder desayunar antes de iniciar la jornada o cenar al terminar el día. El alojamiento estaba limpio y las camas eran muy cómodas. Nos alojamos un grupo de 4 chicos y estuvimos muy a gusto, pasamos gran parte del tiempo fuera pero era muy buen sitio para descansar.

Очень приятный персонал, владелец апартаментов хозяин кафе на первом этаже, где очень вкусно готовят, большие порции и приятные цены. Рекомендую на все 100% Жили большой семьей, все удобно разместились. Остались очень довольны. Кровати удобные, большие, в комнатах кондиционеры, в наших двухкомнатных апартаментах была кухня. Но мы на ней ни разу не готовили, потому что ходили кушать в кафе хозяина. Нужно искать парковку, возле апартаментов нет возможности оставить машину. Но на улицу дальше есть частный двор, который организовали под парковку.
• Conrad (7/5): Good - The location was very central, easy walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, the Palace, and grand bazaar. The host, Mr.Serdar, was very gracious and helpful. It was in the old city and an old building. The room was a bit musty, but we didn't mind as we were out most of the day. The bed was comfortable. I had to remember that the hot and cold water taps were connected in the opposite way.

• Agnes (7/5): Convenient location and and very nice host in the old Istanbul area - The flat is located close to the main historical buildings in the old Istanbul. It takes 15min walking to reach Sainte Sophie. The flat can be accessed with the public trasports, and a bit of walking. The flat is above the flat owner's restaurant, with good prices and good food. Hot water and beds. The flat owner is very nice. Very noisy: the flat is near a passing street, and single-glazed windows don't stop the noise. Can't close the door of one bedroom, as 1 bed prevents it. Minimum furniture: don't expect space for your clothes- but there is a massvie sofa and a big TV.

There were many restaurants near the stay. The host was very helpful to suggestion how to get to certain attraction. I will recommend this place if anyone plan to visit Istanbul. The bonus point was there is a Wednesday Farmers Market near the stay which make buying local products very worthwhile. None

• Yvette (8/5): Very good - Emin, the host, was exceptional. Very kind and helpful, responding to our messages instantly. Dimbil restaurant is right next to it, with delicious food, nice people and all around nice atmosphere. The room was relatively clean, my biggest fear with every stay is cockroaches or bedbugs, and we haven’t encountered any. There are 3 units in the building and the walls are very thin, if you are a light sleeper bring some earplugs. I was prepared so I had no problem with the noise but without earplugs it would have been a bit disturbing. The bedsheets had quite a few spots. I believe they were clean but it was still disturbing a bit. The fridge was also dirty. The apartment was very humid and the ceiling in the bathroom was full with mold. This was probably the most disturbing thing as I believe it’s a health concern if you spend a longer period there. Still, I would like to emphasize that our stay was great and for this price I wasn’t expecting anything more.

• Carol (5/5): Electricity problems at property. - It was central. Clean. The electricity kept flickering on and off in my room the fit the whole 6 nights and days I was there. I was a bit worried about this. Also due to the power fluctuations it broke my laptop which was plugged in and charging all the time I was there it was an apple Mac and very expensive. They refused to offer me any compensation. U should make sure this has been repaired before iu go as it can damage Your appliances
• Ravisara (7/5): Friendly but not recommened for female solo-travel - The staffs were friendly and helpful. They could speak English pretty well. The wifi was not good enough. The road from the main street direct to the hotel made me feel a bit insecured. And inside the room it was fullof the cigarette smell.

• Marija (1/5): This accommodation should not be rented out at all before it is renovated and worked on cleanliness, furniture, and serv - The accommodation is in an excellent location when it comes to accessibility to important locations, restaurants, shops, etc., but it is also located in a small, but very busy street, where noise, shouting and traffic starts already in the early hours of the morning, around 6 AM. Unfortunately, I could say a lot about the negative experience with this accommodation. First of all, I will mention that the accommodation does not even meet basic hygiene standards. The bedding that was on the bed when we arrived had yellow stains, the mattress was covered in stains also, there was mold in the refrigerator, and there were hairs all over the toilet bowl. We requested to change the room immediately on the first day, due to the mentioned facts, noise from the street, noise from the apartment above us, the condition of the furniture, and the lack of blackout curtains (the room is on the ground floor and every passerby had an unobstructed view of the room). We were told that there were currently no rooms available, that we could get another room in two days, and that the current one would be cleaned again the next day. Except for the changed bedding and added curtains, we didn't notice anything else changed after the cleaning. The mold in the refrigerator remained, the dust in the apartment as well, as well as the hair on the toilet bowl. During the seven days we stayed in the apartment, the towels were replaced once, at our request, the toilet paper was also restocked once at our request, the bed linen was not changed, and the wastebasket was not emptied. In the flat above our apartment, where someone from the owner’s family lives, as we understood, there was incredible noise for at least 5 nights, sometimes until 1-2 AM. We informed the owners about this and asked them to do something, but nothing happened, even though they said it would be resolved. In the end, I would just like to mention that the name of the WiFi network and the password for it were written on the wall next to the door by pen, which we had never seen before and it was really strange. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to add all the pictures we made as proof of what I wrote, so there are only four below.

• Fernando (1/5): Grossly Unprofessional and Unhygienic place - Only the fact that it was cheap ⭐ Our experience at Dimbil in Istanbul was disappointing to say the least. Upon arrival around 6 PM for check-in, we encountered disorganization and lack of cleanliness. It appeared that someone from the street had handed us a key to an unprepared room, with dirty sheets, smelly towels, and even hair on the pillow covers, which was quite gross. After voicing our concerns to another staff member nearby, we were promptly moved to a supposedly better and cleaner room. However, this incident raised doubts about the hotel's professionalism and hygiene practices. It seems they may not prioritize cleanliness, as evidenced by the initial state of our room. Despite the affordable cost and our short stay, I cannot recommend Dimbil to anyone. It's clear that hygiene standards are not a priority here, making it an uncomfortable and unprofessional place to stay. It's best to avoid Dimbil altogether and seek accommodation elsewhere.

Smell cat poop at the front door but not inside so its ok 5. Location like hiking down mountain, no problem for young people 6. The cooking utensil very bad i thought it is not functioning Thats it, thanks No self check in, little problem there but the restraunt downstairs can give you the key to the room. Second floor so you need to hike the stairs also, not very high, just ok

• Michael (10/5): In the heart of the old city, with accessibility in every direction. - Bed was comfortable, and the walkability is incredible. Bora was an excellent host and I hope to stay with them again. Make sure you have a great lunch/ dinner downstairs at the restaurant. Bora also recommended an excellent spot for hookah (shisha) and some food/ beverage, called Yakut. It’s only one block away and I highly recommend ending the night there. It was a little difficult to leave the property before 6am without help, as they secure the outside doors, and the key I was given did not match that exit door. That’s the only note I have. Test all the keys, first.

• Niclas (8/5): Very good - This place is clean and provides what you need. Everything worked well, shower, a/c, etc. Great service by friendly staff. It's convenient that there's a restaurant downstairs and it's good value for the money. The studio I stayed in was small and very basic. It barely had room for the two beds. The photos on the website did not show this specific appartement (my guess is that each one is different). The bathroom was fine though, decent size. I have no complaints and considering the price, this was still good value for the money.

• Евгений (4/5): I do not recommend - For unpretentious travelers, you can spend the night. In general, the room was cleaned. Bad smell in the room, damp. No soundproofing, you can hear absolutely everything. Unfortunately there were dubious individuals behind the wall, rattling, talking loudly at night. Abandoned buildings outside the widow. The sheet does not fit the size of the bed, that is, you can easily end up on a dirty mattress.

The host kindly waited for me to give me the key even though my flight was delayed and I arrived in the night. The room was fine, bathroom, kitchenette, double and single bed. AC was not working but it was still comfortable temperature (July). Hot water was not very reliable in shower, the temperature kept changing.

Mustafa from the restaurant who gave us the key was really friendly. You need to go to the restaurant first, otherwise you won't find the apartment. There is a fridge and water kettle in the room (dirty, but working) They provided soap in the bathroom which is great. Really dirty place, bedsheet/bedlinen was also dirty. We received 1 toilet paper roll for 2 person for 5 days, and 1 towel. There is no hanger in the bathroom, nothing in the shower where you could put your soap. Room was very humid, towel couldn't dry in 1 day. For this price I can't and don't want to complain, I'm just writing the facts.

It is simple and cozy, it has everything you need for the money. - + Serdar personally met us even though we arrived at 2 am + The room is very clean and the towels were very nicely folded + In the heart of old Istanbul, 5 minutes to Sultanahmet Square + Unlimited hot water in the shower + There is a refrigerator and a kettle + Spacious closet + The heating is good + Very responsive and efficient owner, when our shower head broke, he came and fixed it right away + Cozy environment - There was mold on the ceiling in the shower

• Dmitry (8/5): Very good - Location and the host are wonderful. Apartment is cosy. There are plenty of cafés and shops around. Main sightseeings are a 10-15 minutes walk away. At day it seems to be noisy, but late evenings and nights are very comfortable to sleep. Some furniture requires repairing. Kitchen and closets require to be more equipped for a group of guests.
