• Marcus (10/5): ABSOLUTELY AMAZING… - Absolutely great place to stay. I have never felt more welcoming atmosphere from literally anyone working there. Cosy interior, beautiful rooms, cleanliness,… I will probably miss out on some good stuff because there are so many. They are always smiling and willing to help out with anything. My highest recommendation for this hotel. Nothing.

• Ellis (10/5): A perfect suite in a bohemian location in the heart of Istanbul. - It’s a very nice hotel, quite cosy and newly decorated. Great location for foodies, the entire street around the property is full of restaurant, coffes, Turkish baths, antique and art galleries… Nothing.
• Daria (5/5): Ok for money you pay - Great location. You get what you pay for, so with moderate expectations you will be happy with your choice. One night is fine. More will be a pain Very basic, rusty condition, you can hear everyone in other rooms, cold. I hope one day people stop to use scented sticks, background music and fake flowers for « ambience » - this all is rather annoying.
• Birgit (7/5): Okay rooms in a very nice bohemian location - Top location in a quiet corner of a lively neighbourhood. lots of cafes, restaurants, plenty of small shops. I also liked the view out of the large window. Trees, a little mosque, rather picturesque. Hasan was easy to communicate with. Rooms not as nice as on the pictures shown, everything a bit run down and shabby. The kitchen appliances are old and not very clean, we didn`t have cups, only 1 glass, no cutlery.

Ottima posizione a buon prezzo, a 10 minuti circa da piazza Taksim, facilmente raggiungibile per chi arriva dall aereoporto. Il mio appartamento si trovava al 4 piano, dotato di ottima esposizione alla luce e non troppo rumoroso nonostante la posizione centrale. Check in (con codice) e check out semplici e veloci.
• zoepel (10/5): - Die Lage ist ruhig, aber trotzdem zentral. In ca. 10 Minuten ist man am Taksim Platz, in der Nähe sind viele Geschäfte und Lokale im schönen Stadtteil Cihangir zu erreichen.
• A. (10/5): Great for travel alone or for couple - I had only 1 night between my flights, and this hotel was just perfect choice! Located in a city center, near many breakfast places, there was water and tea, clean, also host provided me a list of possible things to do in Istanbul which was very helpful! I wish I come again and have more time to enjoy this place :) but yes, there is a sound of mosque in the morning as in every place in Turkiye - either close windows or be ready to wake up for a short time about 4 am.

• dalal (8/5): لا بأس - الشرفة والموقع نسبيا جيد صاحب الشقه ( حسن) كان متعاون ومحترم وخلوق وارشدني الى الاماكن المهمه هو الذي جعلني لا اغير مكان الاقامة والتي كانت اجمالا لا بأس بها لا يوجد مصاعد والسلالم للذي لا يملك لياقه متعبه لذا لا انصح كبيري السن الاثاث قديم جدا وشبه متهالك صعود السلالم مع حمل الاغراض بعد التسوق خصوصا اني كنت ساكنه في الدور الخامس كان متعب جدا

The room was tidy, clean and in a great location. Perfect accommodation among the famous antiques, art galleries, Turkish baths. He also recommended many budget friendly restaurants, bars and cafes. The apartment is in a great location, there are many bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend Hasan's apartment when in Istanbul. Nothing.

It is extremely dirty , not easy to access and you feel staying in viruses Not clean. Not proper for stay. Everything was more than dirty. I was also offered a room worse than the one I got. Once I complained I was sent to another room built on a mezzanine. Can't describe how dirty and old the room is. I have no word for it. Do yourself a favor, there is much better in Istanbul

• Carina (8/5): 5th floor without elevator but beautiful view - I enjoyed my stay very much as I loved to have a balcony. However for less sportive people the lack of an elevator might be an issue. The room was very charming and located in a less touristy area near Taksim Square. Surrounded by many nice cafés and many things in a possible walking distance. The owner was very helpful and provided some good recommendations for the stay. Although it says hotel, it's more like air bnb. So better let the owner know when you arrive otherwise you might wait some time.

• Malte (6/5): Pleasant - - Responsive and accommodating host. - Great location in Cihangir (a relatively calm neighborhood, super close to Taksim Square and Istiklal but without the crowds). - Overall good value for money if you don't plan to spend much time inside the apartment. - Most of the furniture and facilities are relatively old and shabby. - Cleanliness could have been improved. Someone must have cleaned the apartment before we arrived, but the wardrobe was still very dusty and there was a bit of mold/black dots in the bathroom.

• Inna (6/5): Pleasant - I took the room with balcony the view is great, really and the host is good too trying to help in everything … but unfortunately the money I paid is too much for this the air in a room is always wet, I needed to heat the room it was cold and wet towels are always wet it has some charms antique details, but more you see it’s like very bad quality of a room, especially the bathroom with mold I really seldom write bad review but here only the view saved the situation friends were in a hotel with a the same category of money but it was clean and ok … sad to say this but was a bit disappointed and couldn’t relax in this room at all

• Ekaterina (3/5): Don’t book this,check other options - Flexibility of arrival and departure time The apartment is very old. The mattress is uncomfortable, I could feel every spring. Bathroom was full of mold and what was the worst is the water pressure. It took me about two minutes to clean toothbrush. Imagine to wash long hair. Update: after the submission of my review, the owner started writing me whatsapp messages asking to change my review and give him score of 10. I ignored his messages. Then he tried to bribe me by offering free accommodation and transfer for next trip. I think it is unethical, and future travellers should know the real status of the apartment. I have just listed facts, the decision whether to come here or not is yours
