Nelle vicinanze è possibile trovare supermercati, fornai e ristoranti. La fermata del tram T5 è vicina. È possibile utilizzare la bella terrazza sul tetto, che è stata arredata con tavoli, sedie e divani. È possibile utilizzare la lavatrice. Il proprietario è molto gentile.

• Katharina (9/5): A genuinely lovely apartment to stay at, definitely recommended - Genuinely lovely and friendly hosts, responded fast to all sorts of questions and were very helpful . The apartment was cozy, spotlessly clean and the small kitchen was filled with little welcome treats like wine, biscuits etc. Lively district, close to restaurants, supermarket, public transport etc. And not to forget a wonderful roof terrace. the only drawback might be that the house is not particularly soundproof (as is common with these kind of older houses), i.e. you're likely to hear all sounds from adjacent apartments, but still, in general, at nighttime quiet for restful sleeping.

Balat is so much nicer to stay than other areas, as it really helps you feel like a local. The host, Sencer, went out of his way to help us know where to eat and drink which helped make this a truly memorable experience!!

Hosts are extremely thoughtful and have thought of everything - from lovely interior design to little bits and pieces that made us feel welcomed (bottle of wine, coffee and multiple coffee machines, toiletries, first aid kit, veru well thought-through leaflet with guidance and recommendations that helped us instantly to know where the best green grocer is, where to eat, what to do in case of emergency). The apartament was very comfortable for 3 adults (I stayed there with my parents), the rooftop terrace - beautiful. Great value for money + added value of just brilliant, kind and thoughtful hosts. I loved everything - A to Z.

• Bp_gr (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at “Stambul House” was one of the best we ever had on our vacations! The apartment is a newly renovated, old Greek building, very beautiful, bright and decorated with exceptional taste. It doesn't feel at all like a holiday rental, as soon as we entered we felt at home. It is super clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything one could need (including kitchen essentials) and the beds are comfy, with crisp linens. Moreover, our hosts had some sweet and savory welcome surprises waiting for us on our arrival! There's a nice roof terrace in the building, but we didn't really use it, since our flat had a small balcony from where you could overlook our little street and communicate by sign language with the friendly neighbors, while drinking our morning coffee (which was also provided). The setting is ideal: although “Stambul House” is literally around the corner from the very lively and colorful main street of Balat, with all his shops, cafés and restaurants, it is located on a quiet little side street, with a real neighborhood atmosphere and almost no traffic. And, importantly for people like me, no steep streets to climb, which is often the case if you choose to live in Balat! Also, there are a bus and metro station a few minutes away, from where you can reach easily all the major sites of Istanbul by public transport. Nilay, our hostess, was always reachable, responsive and very helpful and I also want to mention the sweet cleaning lady who served us tea and Turkish coffee whenever she came to keep the building in its immaculate condition. Summary: don't miss out on this one, this place provides more than one can wish for. We will surely come back, the sooner, the better! Nothing, everything was perfect!
• Martyna (9/5): everything was very good and it was nice stay - Nice, cozy and big apartment. Clean, comfortable, spacious living room, AC, pleasant bathroom, lovely owner. Quite small kitchen for two people preparing food and no bigger table to eat breakfast inside, but it was not a big problem.
