We were a bit scared for the climb from town reading the reviews but it wasn’t all that bad (including a strollers and two kids). Yes the last street is quite steep but doable! The apartment equipment is a bit rundown such as the pans.

The pool and sun chairs are amazing, and the host was so friendly and welcoming. We felt very at home and could walk down into town easily. I have nothing negative to say about this place, we loved it.

• Annalise (8/5): Peaceful apartment with beautiful rooftop pool - The apartment was spacious and clean. Great kitchen appliances! The host was welcoming & friendly. The pool area was amazing, it felt like such a relaxing zen space to spend the day. It’s also really private, we had the entire pool space to ourselves for a day. Very peaceful with amazing views of Saranda & Corfu. The walk down into town is really easy to the promenade. However the walk back up is very steep, we attempted this in the midday heat as it was only a 16 minute walk from the bus terminal and it was very difficult with our suitcases. It also felt like getting a taxi after dinner on an evening wasn’t really an option as it was 1500 lek, which is quite expensive as it’s only about a 4 minute drive. It’s a pretty central location and easy to access everything, I’d just say be mindful of the hill if you have accessibility requirements!

• Miriam (1/5): Very bad, we left immediately and lost 50€ for that one night - It had a pool The room was too small for two people. The room had a huge window which may be nice but it also means that there’s no privacy. The bathroom was tiny. We booked one night and wanted to cancel it because the AC wasn’t working properly (it was extremely hot that day). There was no way for us to stay in that tiny and hot place. I asked for a refund but didn’t get that. The lady was a bit rude and not understanding.

• Anne (9/5): Stayed for 13 days and absolutely loved it. The pool was great, host was amazing and it was very comfortable. Great to h - Leda, the host was amazing. Would definitely rate her 15 out of 10. Was very friendly and helpful. Made Albanian coffee for me regularly and nothing was too much trouble My only comment was the location was up a rather steep hill which was challenging in the heat. The good thing is, it wasn’t very far from the beach or town and there was a good market just down the hill

Il faut très clair dès le lever du soleil car il y a des rideaux mais la porte est vitrée... Le courant doit être coupé lorsque nous quittons la chambre, ce qui est problématique pour charger certains appareils et l'air conditionné est bruyant...

• Vera (10/5): Perfect! - We loved everything! I can hardly think of anything that could have been better than it was. The host is extremely kind and helpful - we arrived at 23h (an hour late at that…) and she was waiting for us. All the apartments are new, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need - including cooking oil, salt, sugar and coffee (I’m specifying because had we known this, we would not have made a stop at the nearby mini market at 22h45 :)) The same goes for the bathroom - towels, shampoo, soap, toilet paper… There is air conditioning in both of the rooms. And the washing machine is a huge plus! The pool/bar area is amazing - especially if you have kids. And the view is simply stunning! Also, I know some people have found it a bit of a steep climb, but it wasn’t as bad as described. Sure, we are pretty sportsy, but even our 4 year old had no issues going back and forth from the property to the beach/town twice a day. All in all - a ten out of ten! /

Lovely location, a bit of a climb in some places from the beach and town but allows for a lovely view over the bar.

The biggest plus was the pool area which we could enjoy the panoramic view to the sea ans Corfu island. Worth to mention the private parking also.

• Sokol (8/5): Spacious and Clean Apartment with Some Location Considerations - The apartment was excellent – cleanliness was 10/10 with absolutely no remarks. Both bedrooms and the living room had air conditioning, and the space was large and well-equipped. For the price, you really get great value. The apartment can comfortably accommodate a large family of up to six people. The host was a lovely, cheerful lady – very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Nothing to complain about when it comes to the host. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended if you have access to a vehicle. The only downside, which is beyond the host's control, is the location. It takes around 15–20 minutes to reach the city center on foot, and the roads are extremely steep. This place is not suitable for those with mobility challenges or physical disabilities. Thankfully, I had a rental car, which made things easier. Without a car, longer stays may be more challenging – but it's something you will see for yourself.

Just a 15 minute walk from the ocean. Comfortable bed, airconditioning and good shower. The pool is really small and you are only allowed to ise it between 9 and 21 o'clock. Would have loved to have an early morning or late evening swim.

Comfy bed, nice sitting area and decent air con. Washing machine was an added bonus. The pool area and roof terrace was very pleasant and necessary after the walk (see above). Leda is friendly and welcoming and obviously proud of her property. Excellent value for money but consider the location before booking. The view from the terrace is lovely but there's a reason for that. The apartments are located a good 15 min, thigh burning and lung busting walk from the seafront. Maybe reconsider if you have any mobility issues and don't have a car, it's just not suitable. Also taxi from town/bus station a rip off at 15euro for 5 mins but no choice with luggage.

Walking distance to everything relevant Be aware that there is a few steep hills to the place but it’s not a problem at all - it’s like that all over Sarandë.

The pool area on the roof is really comfortable and has a small bar, plus lots of loungers and swinging chairs. Staff were always on hand and helpful. The best place we stayed in so far. A bit of an uphill climb from the beach, but quite manageable.

The nice lady helped us to order food from the nearby fastfood to drop at our residence and it tasted acceptable. Pool water could be cleaner.

Vila Floban saved the day! We paid only €30 per night (BARGAIN) in cash upon arrival. The apartment was modern in decor, comfy bed, great kitchen, very clean, beautiful terrace, great swimming pool, powerful shower, access to washing machines for laundry and space to dry it. Literally perfect! Very very hard to say anything negative. Room was a little bright in the morning as no curtains on the kitchen window etc but nothing we couldn’t cope with!

It's up on a steep hill, so going to the beach/store/restaurant always involves a steep (and fairly long) walk back up. Bathroom always smelled musty because ventilation wasn't so good, and it felt a bit claustrophobic with a very low ceiling. But overall no big deal. Kitchen could've used a frying pan.

• Gerarda (9/5): Very nice place, great pool, great view - We had a room that was above the pool, with an enormous window. Very nicely renovated and with a great view at the skyline. The only thing was that you had to keep the curtains closed, otherwise you were in plain view of the swimming guests (although the window was darkened). So that was a pro and a con. We loved the fridge in the room. It also had airco and a tv. The swimming pool is very nice and clean, and the partly shaded sundeck is great. The room wasn't very big. And the walk (or ride) up the hill is pretty steep.
