They anticipated every traveler's needs!"It was an absolute delight to return after our days' adventures. We did not want to leave. Absolutely nothing. The place was perfect! I will add...Amsterdam is a huge city. This location was very close to what we called the Anne Frank district. It was walkable to most popular attractions we were interested in. So, the location totally worked for us, but may be something to investigate depending on what you're looking for.
• Iris107 (10/5): wunderbare Frühlingstage in Amsterdam - Die Lage des Appartments ist perfekt: man wohnt mit romantischem Blick über die Gracht auf das Anne-Frank-Haus sehr zentral. Das denkmalgeschützte Haus ist modern und hochwertig restauriert - insbesondere die Bäder entsprechen gehobenem Niveau; man spürt überall in Details die liebevolle Hand der Gastgeber, was es einem leicht macht, sich wohl und zu Hause zu fühlen. Die Betten sind mega groß und bequem, so dass man wirklich gut schläft. Die Glocken der nahegelegenen Westerkerk tragen zu dem tollen Gesamtpaket nochmals bei. Nachts ist es erstaunlich ruhig.In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich eine Vielzahl von Restaurants und Bars, die von early breakfast bis last dinner alles bieten und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Wie in der Beschreibung aufgeführt, ist die Wohnung nicht behindertengerecht wegen steiler Treppen. Wir haben drei wunderbare entspannte Tage in Amsterdam verlebt und die Wohnung hat zu dieser schönen Erinnerung sicherlich ihren Anteil beigetragen. Wir danken unseren Gastgebern Neil und Jonathan, die alles getan haben, damit die Reise perfekt wird!
• Victoria (10/5): Perfect! Beter than expected. - The studio was even more magnificent than expected! The location was perfect for us. Everything you needed to feel at home was provided! Bedrooms and baths were perfectly appointed and VERY comfortable. Most of all… Neil was the PERFECT host!! Cannot say enough about how gracious he was accommodating our schedule, both on check in and check out days. We really appreciated his help! Nothing at all!

Spacious premises perfect for a family of 4 or two couples. Bathrooms were modern. Staircase is somewhat challenging to navigate with large and heavy suitcases

What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding hospitality of the hosts. From the moment I booked, Neil was incredibly responsive and communicative, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The apartment itself was perfect - clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. They had thought of everything to make my stay feel like home, including having plenty of AC adapters available and extensive books with information about the apartment and nearby restaurants. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in Amsterdam. Neil is an exemplary host who truly goes above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and cared for. Nothing!
• Jacek (9/5): Great place - Very nice place, fantastic hosts. Clock on the church just the other side of the canal, playing hours (nicely) also at night/ very early Morning. Ear plugs available in the apartment, I understand why, although my wife slept great without these as well :)

It’s a wonderfully interesting and quirky building. Neil and Jonathan are truly wonderful hosts, who made our visit memorable and went way beyond the best to address one or two issues we had. Night lights in bathrooms, suggestion books for things to do, dining book with local restaurant recommendations, body wash, shampoo, conditioner provided. Lotion at all sinks. Many dvds available for viewing . Very well appointed apartment! Steep stairways not for the feint of heart
• Katherine (10/5): Gorgeous apartment in a wonderful location in the Jordaan neighborhood. - The hosts were great communicators and provided both advice and amenities to ensure our trip was perfect. We were in a perfect location to walk to all the sites, take canal rides, get to the train station, and enjoy delicious food and drink. When we were exhausted, we watched the world go by outside of the stunning windows from both the kitchen and living room. Highly recommend - was perfect for our family of four!! We loved it!
• Alan (10/5): Wonderful location from which to enjoy your stay in Amsterdam. - This is an exceptional property in an extraordinary location, across the canal from the Anne Frank House. We particularly appreciated the assistance and support of our hosts who could not have been more friendly and responsive. We solicited and received great recommendations for our visit and we followed them to the letter — to our great benefit. We truly enjoyed our stay. Being an older building, visitors should be aware that the apartment is on the second/third floors and that luggage will need to be carried up through some tight spaces. While we were warned also that our rooms were located over busy streets, we had no trouble sleeping, but others may be more sensitive to noise. Neither of these “issues” interfered with our enjoyment of our stay.

• P (10/5): We’d love to stay at the Former Rembrandt Workshop another time! - The Former Rembrandt Workshop is fantastic. The location can’t be beaten~ it’s on a beautiful canal, near Anne Frank’s house, lots of shops and restaurants and close to tram stops that will get you anywhere you want to go and home again. The apartment itself is spacious and very well appointed. And our hosts were wonderful. They gave us advice on booking reservations ahead of our arrival, met us at the property right at the appointed time and left us a well stocked kitchen. The four of us give this property our highest marks. Like all historic Amsterdam properties, this apartment goes up instead of out. There are several steep staircases leading to its spacious rooms which may not be easy for some people to navigate. Luckily for us, we were able to grab a handrail when we needed one and didn’t have any problems.

The apartment location was perfect for walking to all the main sites and great to sit out on the stoop right by the canal. Neil our host was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and letting us drop our bags to the apartment early. The apartment was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and clean.
• Anonymous (10/5): Perfect fit - Neil was an exceptional host, very helpful and responsive. The location was perfect, just across the canal from the Anne Frank house. There were so many excellent cafes and restaurants to choose from within an easy walk. The living room was so comfortable my wife fell asleep on the couch right after we arrived. We sat in chairs next to the canal the first afternoon and had a few beers. There was a washer/dryer which was a huge help given we had been on the road for a month. The bedroom layout was perfect for my wife and I as we slept in the larger one and my son slept in the smaller room which has its own adjoining bathroom. The stairs are steep like all houses in Amsterdam.

• Karen (10/5): We loved it ! As we saw more of Amsterdam we appreciated what a wonderful part we were staying in. - The property is beautiful well maintained comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, very close amenities but very quiet and charming in the evenings and gorgeous in the early morning . The stairs are very steep and twist , you could not change this , it is the period style , and there are hand rails in all the right places.

• Chris (10/5): Absolutely stunning apartment, hosted by lovely people in a fantastic location. - The apartment retains the look of a beautiful canal-side house, yet everything inside is modern, comfortable and well made, including the beds, sofa, TV, wifi etc. The host is communicative and very helpful indeed. If anything, the apartment is better than the photos make out. I couldn’t recommend highly enough. If you’re a light sleeper, pack your earplugs- the beautiful Westerkerk just opposite rings the time every hour!
