• Ouillet (3/5): Service pas au niveau - L'endroit était très beau. Ils ont oublié de mettre des serviettes le premier jour, ce qui est déjà pas terrible en soit. J'ai donc envoyé un message sur booking + sur le téléphone perso de l'hôte pour le signaler dans l'après-midi: aucun retour. Mon copain est donc allé demander des serviettes à 9h30 le lendemain (on n'avait toujours pas de réponse). Aucune excuse ou mot gentil. J'ai par la suite envoyé plusieurs messages pour prévenir de notre départ + demandé s'ils avaient trouvé une doudoune que j'ai oublié en partant. Je n'ai jamais eu de retour. Ça fait 3 jours. Ça me semble aberrant, c'est la moindre des choses d'être un minimum joignable...

• Igor (7/5): Ogólnie ciekawe miejsce, dużo przestrzeni w dobrej cenie, wokół chodzą kury i barany :) - Duża przestrzeń, wygodne łóżko, wysoka prywatność, parking za darmo. Zapach z łazienki, brak normalnego mydła, mogłoby być czyściej (pajęczyny itp.)

• Hanno (1/5): Ein Aufenthalt ist unter diesen Umständen keineswegs zu empfehlen. - Gefallen hat uns ausschließlich nur die Lage. Zusätzlich war WENIGSTENS das kleine Bad modern eingrichtet und das Bett frisch bezogen. Nicht gefallen hat uns die extreme Unsauberkeit! (Ungeziefer im Küchenbereich, Spinnen, verschmutzter Kühlschrank, dreckiger Cordbezug eines Stuhles, verschmutztes Badezimmer usw.) Dazu fehlten Einrichtungsgegenstände! (kein Kleiderschrank, keine Möglichkeit zum Aufhängen von Kleidungsstücken dank fehlender haken, keine Nachttischchen sowie keine Tür zum Bad - so fiel nachts das Licht aus der Gemeinschaftstoilette direkt auf unser Bett, wenn ein Obermieter die Gemeinschaftstoilette aufsuchte) Die sogenannte Küchenzeile war äußerst klein. Durch das Aufstellen der Mikrowelle blieb kein Platz für andere Dinge, dann auch nicht mehr für eine vorhandene Doppelkochplatte. Für den Außenbereich gab es zwei Liegestühle. Es fehlten aber passende Sitzkissen. Stattdessen sollten wir die klobigen Sofakissen benutzen. Zusätzlich liefen im Außenbereich Hühner herum, die sowohl den Sitzplatz als auch den Weg zum Hauseingng verkoteten. Die angegebene Grillstelle entpuppte sich als Grilltopf, in welchem man höchstens eine Suppe erwärmen könnte, ohne das dafür eine Feuerstelle vorlag.

• Darwin (8/5): Beautiful rural setting but not worth the cost - Very large and roomy, smeg fridge, chickens Shared toilet, which was downstairs, very inconvenient for middle of the night visits. The loft has a shower, why couldn't they have also included a toilet? Also, the toilet was located right beside the downstairs room's bed with just a thin wall separating, I'm sure that was not pleasant for the guests in that room. And where there's chickens, there's roosters - cockadoodledo starting at 5 am 🤨. Shower drain was completely clogged with some unmentionable gunk, no excuse for that.

• Gerard (5/5): Matig ....maar ligging is uitermate super!! - Locatie Geen complete keuken waar je kunt koken bv... toilet moet je delen met andere gasten. Als je beneden slaapt geen deur voor de badkamer en geen gordijn voor het badkamerraam dus heel veel licht in de ochtend, bovendien zit er een raam in de badkamer van het gedeelde toilet in de hal, als daar het licht aangaat schijnt dat recht in je snuffert als je in bed ligt.
• Andrew (8/5): - It's position in relation in getting into the city centre. It was very quiet and we had a few good walks. Because it's a shared toilet with the upstairs room every time someone uses the toilet the light comes on it woke me up. Needs to be a curtain on the window.
• Eric (6/5): I have mixed feelings, as I'm sure the nice owners have good intentions - The country feel, with chickens and a couple of nice dogs. The old furniture seemed grubby, e,g, the dining table had cracks that who knows what lives there? The joint toilet light could be seen from the room I was in, as there is a high window and no door on the bathroom. (strange) For my tastes, I think the room I was in could do with a makeover using outside advice.

• Carina (7/5): Good - Hosts were lovely and the place was clean and tidy. Secluded location as well as bring peaceful. Was aware of having to share a toilet with the tenants downstairs which was odd. Had a shower and basin in the room but having to go downstairs for the toilet was odd and didn't know until after booking. Easy transport but a little far out from main city. Stairs were very narrow going up to our room. But that's it.

I loved the view from the large windows. So calming. The dogs and the chickens were very cute. The booklet was packed with great guides to the city. It would have been better if the toilet was in the room ;)
• David (5/5): Passable - The bed was very good. The location was very good The room was cold with no heating except a log fire with no means of kindling it. There was a shortage of towels, washing up and kitchen accessories, and work surfaces. It was a shared toilet with a dirty floor. The entrance had a low step that was not marked and caused us to trip up several times.

• Jonathan (6/5): Unclean Accomodation, Shared toilet, more like a dirty share house. - location away from the city but easy cycle or bus ride in. this property was filthy. Hygiene standards not good enough. Was not cleaned between guest stays and obviously hadn’t been deep cleaned for some time. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned for some time and on our arrival was so putrid and we asked for it to be cleaned which they did clean. the dust over it indicated it was not regularly cleaned with pubic hair on rhe top of the porcelain bowl. the property was not advertised as a SHARED TOILET BUT IT US. we would not have stayed here had this been advertised- the add whe. we looked said private bathroom with no mention of the toilet. we saw that a recent advert by this place had it added but our copies of the booking has no mention. There was food left no. the chopping board in kitchen from past guests. the fridge is dirty. The floor was dirty and obviously hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom had not been recently cleaned and on our arrival there were damp towels - along with all the other mess this indicates that cleaning between guest staying was not done and by the state of the dust on things, proper accomodation cleaning is not done to any standard what so ever. The premises advertises private entry but that is not the case and it’s shared with a room with the apartment. This are falling about, TV almost off the wall, hot plate missing a leg stand etc. The supplied kettle was so filthy it turned the water white. we scrubbed the kettle removed and cleaned the inner filter which was blocked with disgusted gunk and attempted to remove the calcification and mineral deposits which fixed the problem for us. The cleaning, maintenance and supplied equipment is well below par and we would not stay at this accommodation again.

• Alice (10/5): Amazing place - I had the house to myself, bed was very comfortable and the body wash provided smelled amazing (much better than in most hotels). Also there is a fridge so you can buy groceries and bbq when you get back from the city. The owners are a nice family with four kids, hens and sheeps and two dogs. I was given a tour and met the two new baby sheep 🙂 It is quiet and piecefull place and I enjoyed staying there very much.

• Bethany (10/5): Cozy, Comfortable and Convenient! - The cosiest and most beautiful stay in Amsterdam. Check in was smooth; Host greeted us and let us settle. we didn’t bump into the family at all, so although the homestead is connected to the property, it definitely feels like your own little home. The space was open and versatile; access to microwave and a portable stovetop was great. the shower was AMAZING and the bed was honestly the comfiest bed we’ve slept in on our European travels. the fire place was a cherry on top! the location was great, with easy access to public transport, it made it easier to explore all parts of Amsterdam. overall, couldn’t recommend this homestead enough- you can not get a better price for this quality accomodation. everything was amazing 😊

The host is nice and prepared some information on how to get around. There is one more floor above the apartment and sometimes you could hear pretty loud / stomping steps.

The water in the bath tube could not be drained and as a result the bath tube was full of hairs and dirt. Also, there were not enough toilet paper. I sent a message to the owner for leave us some extra toilet paper but he never answered. Last but not least, the furnitures had dust.

• Klaudia (10/5): Exceptional - We liked the atmosphere, friendly host, localization (close to the centrum and still calm and quiet) and the whole apartament - beautifully decorated! :) We will reccomend this place for sure as it was a pleasant stay. The cocks were shouting very early in the morning - it is great to be able to go along with pets (there are dogs, sheeps etc) but the noise at 5 am was uncomfortable. Also the apratament could be a bit more cleaner ;) Pets are great but not when it comes to have some spiders in corners :)
• Jeremy (9/5): Superb - We absolutely loved being able to ride bikes from the centre of Amsterdam to the accommodation through beautiful streets and along lovely canals. Our children loved the pets and animals and feeding the lamb and the chickens.

• Elise (9/5): Perfect place to stay right outside of Amsterdam - The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large and well equipped, there was a nice couch and table, and the kitchen area had everything we needed for a short stay. There were big windows around the whole room, but the space was still very private. Overall, the facilities were great. It took about 30 minutes to get into Amsterdam by public transportation but it was reliable and easy to figure out. It was nice staying outside of the city in a quiet area. The room could have been a little bit cleaner. There were some dusty areas of the room and spider webs in the toilet room but overall the room was still pretty clean. There was no door leading to the bathroom which was weird.
