• Ludovic (8/5): Bon logement pour un séjour au calme (en famille). Literie à revoir. - Logement situé dans l'entresol d'un bel immeuble, lui même situé dans un quartier calme, face à un petit parc. Les arrêts du tramway se trouvent à 5mn. Pour les marcheurs, comptez 20mn à pieds pour rejoindre le centre ville touristique. La literie du grand lit est composée de 2 matelas très souple, posés sur 2 sommiers 1 place. Résultat, le milieu se creuse et ce n'est pas top. A mon avis, un seul matelas (plus ferme) permettrait peut-être d'avoir plus de maintien. Nous avons également eu un dysfonctionnement avec 3 interrupteurs : impossible d'allumer ou d'éteindre (la salle de bain est restée allumée tout le séjour. Après avoir réussi à éteindre la grande chambre nous n'avons pas tenté de la rallumer, et le couloir que nous n'avons pas réussi à allumer).

• Jill (7/5): Nice but the main bed is actually in the kitchen - It was quiet and a nice location. The hosts were very helpful. The number 1 tram stops right outside the apartment (which is in a basement). I hadn't realised when I booked this that the main bedroom is actually in the kitchen and it isn't a full kitchen - there is no oven. The main bed has no headboard - unlike in the photos - and the bed is actually blocking a door to the upstairs apartment so when my husband was sat in bed his head was against a door handle. There is also a glass door next to the bed with a curtain and no lock on the door, it just didn't feel that private and the windows and doors are draughty. I think it would be better as a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and a full living room

• MustafaDjemal (7/5): - The location was good, the host was very friendly and helpful. Sewage smells as entering the property because it's a basement, no air ventilation in the toilet/bathroom, the two single beds are not suitable for adults and they're very close to eachother.

Très bon accueil, tout est très bien expliqué, très clair. Petit détail au niveau de la chambre, les rideaux qui ne couvrent pas l’ensemble de la longueur baie vitrée.

Värdarna gav information om allt möjligt löpande under vistelsen via Booking. Delat täcke i dubbelsängen. Det var jobbigt då det var varmt i lägenheten. Saknade en spis.
• Louise (9/5): Beautiful, quiet apartment. - Really lovely property, very close to the centre of Amsterdam, quiet and peaceful away from the noise of The centre. Easy to get to via various public transport links, or walking. Comfortable, very clean apartment with lots of space & beds really comfy too. Use of kitchenette facilities. Hosts provided wine and a box of biscuits, which was a lovely surprise on arrival. Great communication from hosts and lots of recommendations of places to visit and local cafes - the one on the corner near the apartment does lovely breakfast/brunch options! Steps at the front steep (not really a dislike but something to b me aware of). Might be good to have a little info about how to use the air con units.
• Katherine (9/5): Perfect family apartment - The location was fantastic for a family trip - really close to Artis, Nemo and the Maritime Museum, all of which are fantastic for pre-schoolers. Our hosts were so thoughtful, and everything we could think of was provided, including some snacks, coffee pods and dishwasher tablets. Hosts provided lots of helpful local tips. We loved the cafe they recommended at the corner, which was kid-friendly even in the evening. Lots of local cafes and restaurants available. A really comfortable and enjoyable stay, thank you! If you have little kids who might fall out of bed, be aware that the floor is very hard concrete! The hosts kindly provided a travel cot for our toddler, which was perfect, and so we didn't have a problem with this. The front stairs were steep, but we managed to get a pushchair in and out without too much trouble. Be aware if you have any mobility issues.

• Vanya (9/5): Great location for sightseeing, good apartment - Good location exactly where we planned most sightseeing - the holocaust, resistance, maritime and other museums are a few minutes away, it's also a straight 20-30min walk to center. Next to the university campus with good food options. Instructions were plentiful and clear, key was easy to retrieve, the hosts had left us cookies and bottle of wine. It's a basement apartment, and even with all inside glass walls, it was relatively dark, especially since we put all blinds down for privacy from the street. Stronger lamps and one more lamp next to the double bed wouldn't come amiss. And a hand towel in the bathroom. But for a short stay we were fine.

Great communication from h - Excellent, quiet area with great transport links to the city centre and lovely quiet bars with amazing food and drink. Apartment was fantastic, clean, with great communication from the hosts. A must for animal lovers as less than 5 minutes from amazing zoo! Nothing.

The prior guests left things and backed up our time frames. A dinner voucher was mentioned by the owners, but not given. This is a basement; be wary of the shallow/steep steps! The AC had issues that made it unusable. The bedroom was actually 2 twins that would not stay together.

• Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Good place, good value for money, comfortable beds. Nice hosts. Cleaner threw out some jumpers we left there, which was a bit annoying as they were expensive. We noticed within an hour of departing, but it was too late. Apart from that, no complaints.

• Claire (7/5): tidy apartment. - The apartment was set in a lovely part of the city with a park situated just on opposite the property. It was no more than a 25-30 minute walk from the centre and also was situated next to the number 14 tram that takes you all the way to Centraal train station which was super convenient. The host had left plenty of instructions via Booking.com and advise on where to find a quick bite to eat, shop for groceries and also left a bottle of wine and a box of biscuits on our arrival which was most appreciated. The apartment was very clean and the beds were quite comfy. It was easy enough to get into the property the keys/apartment were ready for 3pm. I would highly recommend the apartment for a solo traveller or couple. The apartment was a little dark which you would expect of a basement property, it was a surprise to me that it had been advertised as quiet though as the noise from the street come 7.30/8.00am was quite audible as were the occupants of the apartment above who we very loud/heavy footed late in the evening above the main sleeping area. The double bed was in the communal part of the apartment, which meant that when anyone wanted a coffee or a glass of water they had to effectively walk through the bedroom or wait on us to wake up before they could use that area The apartment is more suited to a solo traveller or a couple or couple with a small child, not 4 adults (but that is only my opinion some people may be fine with living in close quarters for a few days).

• Victoria (9/5): Superb - Lovely location, easy tram to centre. Very clean And comfortable. It was difficult to work out how to warm the flat up a bit, got there in the end.
• Hannah (5/5): Good location but not a great stay - Location was fine, you could get a metro into town which was fine The apartment I or my friends did not like! Pictures on Booking.com were deceiving. What looked like a cupboard from the photos where there were hangers was not! It was made to look like that but instead it was steps to go upstairs into what I believe the hosts house. I didn't really feel comfortable as there was glass door and then a curtain which fully didn't cover the glass. Also the whole apartment felt like a school hallway, school rooms, there weren't enough towels, toilet roll, luckily the laundry room door was open so was able to grab the stuff myself however not ideal as you can imagine its a laundry room, sheets were drying it wasn't great! Also not to mention the bed in the kitchen, it looks like a big bed however the mattress was hanging off the bed on the one side so clearly the base was small and the mattress was big so that was not great at all! Pillows were absolutely thin! Really uncomfortable bed to sleep on, also the smell in the 2 single bed room wasn't great! had to keep spraying perfume. All in all would not stay here again. Oh also the key were not in the lock safe, had to wait for someone to drop the keys to us.

The bed arrangement and pillow could use and upgrade. Need to wash the towel before the guest arrive. I'm not sure I will consider this to be an apartment.
• Gong (7/5): Good - Excellent location with easy access to metro and restaurants. Nice to have a park across the street for kids. Was allergic to the fabric softener but that's not something they knew in advance. Would just recommend hypoallergenic laundry stuffs in the future.

• Marc (8/5): Very good - Nice appartment, comfy and spotless. Location could not be better: really quiet area in the Jewish quarter, very close to Amsterdam "must" places. Hosts were really useful with information, everything went smooth. No kitchen. No sofas or relax area to share with friends. Not much sun light as it is in the basement.

• Catalin.teodorescu (8/5): Very good - The apartment is located in a quiet area, 15 minutes by tram from the center. The tram station is just around the corner. In the area there are shops, cafes and even a coffeeshop. The apartment is clean and well equipped for a stay of several days. The beds are big and comfortable. Communication with the hosts was very good and they provided us with all the information we needed even before we checked in. The apartment is heated with air conditioners, which can cause the air to become dry and the floor to remain cold. Some slippers would help. Being located in the basement, there was a slight specific smell.

They provided clear guidance and instructions regarding the property, and a list of tips and recommendations for our stay in Amsterdam. The property is located in a lovely quiet area that is also walking distance from the city centre. Everything worked well in the property and our stay was very comfortable. I don’t believe the description of the property clarifies that it’s in the basement. It would be good to know in case the guests have any preferences in that regard. The steps leading to the door are also very steep and narrow, making it difficult to reach the door without taking the time to hold on to something (there’s no hand rail) and you must go down sideways as the steps are too narrow and would only hold the heal of your foot. There is some potential for falling or slipping.
