Guest Reviews
- Anna Luca (10/5): -
- Eliane (9/5): Parfait !!
- Beatrix (9/5): We had a lively stay. The best thing was waking up and having breakfast on the terrace with a view to the Sagrada Famili - The location, terrace and the view is top. Good that all the rooms have air conditioning. Mostly equipped with pans, glasses and plates. Communication with the hosts was fast and they were very helpful. The sponge and washing liquid was very minimal, an actual dish washing liquid would be better. Didn’t have any salt, sugar or coffee/tea that most apartments and hotels have. The blinder in the double bedroom was partially broken, but is still offered enough light blocking that is was not bothering, but it would still be worth fixing it.

- David (7/5): Very good for 3 people, nice rooftop - - Great location
- 2 rooftops with a view on the Sagrada Família
- Elevator
- Very clean - No real window in the big bedroom
- The pillows were small cushions
- We wish we had an actual key
- The price explains the city's real estate crisis
- Irina (10/5): - Шикарное местоположение апартаментов! Выход на крышу и вид на Барселону!
- erica (8/5): -
- Filip (9/5): -

- Sofia (7/5): -
- Zach (5/5): It was very average, the bare minimum - It was a good value and space for us The pictures on the posting were misleading, missing furniture that would have made things more comfortable.
Also only 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 2 people for a week's stay.

- Qasim (6/5): -
- Diane (8/5): - L emplacement est idéal. L'odeur d égout n était pas top.
- Marco (7/5): Central apartment clos to Sagrada Familia - Decent apartment, totally fine and probably a very authentic loving experience in Barcelona. We arrived and the apartment was really cold, it took us around one day to finally feel warm inside the apartment. Would have been great to find the apartment preheated at least a bit. Apart from that it was nice, even though the kitchen lacks of many things, eg cutting board and so on.
- Hernan (1/5): Highly disappointed - The location To get the keys, you have to go to another location and agree in advance with the status of the appartment without seen it, so no option if you cannot get a refund. Well, to our sad surprise, the appartment doesn't match the photos. The worse quality/price place we have ever been.
The fancy (learher-like) furniture on the photos was changed by cheap plastic chairs and a (ugly) sofa. The living room central table and other objects were missing. This first impression already killed the promised charming place that we saw on the photos.
Tables, chairs and plants at the terraces were missing. The outside wodden sofa with colored cushions was also replaced by a cheaper version with mold in the remaining forgotten cushion outside (those exposed to the rain).
The shower has mold and the toilet has a bad smells (humidity). It was not proper to be used. The mold has been there for a while, showing a clear lack of proper maintenance of the place.
The cheap build-yourself bed was very unconfortable and was unbalanced. The other small bed has a visual damage and we prefer to leave untouch.
There is an elevator but you have some steps to reach the appartment. This information is omitted.
The service was gentle in general and argued that the furniture was replaced due to its use. Nevertheless, some objects were missing and others were replaced by low quality, killing the charm of the place. We are not picky people but we felt that it was not correct to propose a service and provide something with much lower quality and not clean, and therefore, paying around 250€ per night was very expensive.
- Julie (7/5): Good -
- Florence (4/5): Sadly it was disappointing. - Location was good. The roof terrace would be lovely when the weather is good. Felt quite dirty (dirt in the corners, under the beds etc), very poor kitchen equipment preventing us from being able to cook in the apartment, only 1 pillow per guest, tired furniture.
- Gareth (7/5): Has its flaws but great value for money! - Staff were great to communicate with.
Strange smell coming from sink in kitchen and ant problem. Balcony not like the photos but still nice. Great value for money but with a little TLC could make more bang for their buck.
- Cho (9/5): If i had to go back to bcn i would book here again - The house is beautiful and had everything we needed (3ppl)
Despite the previous comments on the bathroom and some old furniture, we found the house to be clean and well furnished. Probably the staff replaced and renovated some parts of the house.
The location was perfect, 5 min from sagrada familia, and well connected with the other parts of the city, and near the house there was everything we needed. 2 small things:
The ants in the kitchen
Few towels and no shower mat
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Location, balcony No kettle
- Monika (3/5): Not nice! - The location was the only thing we liked. As our visit was for NYE. The place was cold and horrible! We had to collect the keys for the property from a place else where in the city. Our flight got in at 11pm and by 11:30 we were at the place to collect the keys and by 11:45 we were at this so called penthouse to find out that NONE of the keys were correct. I spent 30min on the phone to an agent. Then another 15, to a different agent, who finally decided to send staff to help us. By 12:30am (thats late in the evening) someone came who did not speak English to realise the same thing i have been trying to tell them over the phone - the keys do not work. We had been left with the wrong key. The person said they need to go and collect the right key and that will take 30-40min. At around 1:45-2 in the morning, the same person came back with the correct keys and we were let in the property.
As soon as we opened the door, there were bags of dirty sheets and towels left in the middle of the place. No one had taken the extra care to turn the heating on and no one really seemed bothered that guests are waiting outside from 11:45-1:45 in the night after travelling. The person who brought us the keys also seemed shocked and embarrassed. He said he does not directly work for the company, so his shock and disappointment was obvious too. He was the only one who was apologetic.
- Špela (7/5): Good -
- Dean (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (1/5): Hugely disappointing, not recommended at all: stay away. - The apartment is in a good location. It was clean. I was very disappointed with both the apartment and the service. On arrival, the lift was not working and was not fixed for two days - this made our arrivial very challenging due to luggage and small children. The apartment is NOT what is represented in the online profile: a carpet was missing, lightbulbs were not working, the bathroom smelt of sewers, the balcony chairs where broken, and the toilet seat was broken. The profile states sleeping accommodation for four people but that is only true if one person sleeps on a very thin matrress on the floor.
We made serveal complaints but after two day, the apartment company had only fixed the toilet. On our last day, they delievered new chairs which was far too late. We repeatedly asked for help or a refund but where denied. They offered a new apartment but no details or free transport to the new apartment and then stopped responding to my requests for a refund. Their responses were tardy and previous complaints were either ignored or misunderstood.
The apartment is far too expensive for what it offers. The service was very poor compared to previous experiences. I strongly suggest not staying at this apartment
- Santina (9/5): Rooftop terrace - The location is great, in walking distance to several metro stations. Sagrada Familia is near by and there are many bars, restaurants and markets in the vicinity. The apartment is very spacious and offers all you could need. The furniture is a little too used, the owners could freshen it up a bit. And the hairdryer was missing.
- Nastja (8/5): Very good - Nice terrace, great location, the apartment was clean. The state of the furniture in the terrace and in the flat is really poor and needs a refresh. it is not like in the pictures.
- Keri (9/5): Apartment is roomy and has plenty of outdoor space. - the home was very large, love the terraces and outdoor space. the bathroom was terrible. shower head is broken, shower curtain was gross and smells, toilet seat lid was broken as well as the light switch. the bathroom felt gross and dirty. the apartment is very cold and the kitchen was lacking a pan to cook with.
- Maxine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (9/5): everything was fine for short stay . Bathroom needs a updated specially curtain is constantly touching while showering . - Terraces bathroom curtain!
- Kendra (4/5): too much hassle for mediocre quality. - great location near sagrada familia and metro. la terraza is the saving grace of the apartment. plenty of seating even though you’re not allowed to have any guests, but nice to read and eat outside. you can even see a little bit of the cathedral. the area is relatively quiet. Having to pick up the keys at a separate location is annoying, especially carrying luggage. the metro is about the same time as walking (22 min). also the first time I’ve had to pay a tourist tax (I’m a Spanish citizen and have been several times to bcn). must be a new thing. I feel like they’re trying to squeeze every cent they can and I didn’t really feel protected as a client. you have to pay 200 for a deposit and if you get a noise complaint you lose it. how do I know they just won’t lie? just felt really uncomfortable. The checkin is pretty late (3pm) and even then it wasn’t ready until 3:18. not sure why they ask what time you’re coming in if it doesn’t really matter. they said that we could leave our luggage possibly sooner but by then it was 2:30 so we just waited. we saw the one cleaning lady come in around 2:15 so I wouldn’t necessarily call that a team (cleaning fee 70+), not to mention that you have to wash all the dishes and take the trash out to the containers below. Most places just make you leave it out. The walls are dirty, the shower curtain should be changed (bottom is gross). All of furniture is broken (again 200 deposit for what? So they can claim I broke something that’s already broken?) I took pictures just to make sure. The fence in the terrace is broken. You can’t close the blinds in the main room so the light from the stairway shines in. All the blinds are in shabby shape anyway.
The light in the bathroom takes some tries before turning on. Can’t have any guests (I’m fine with no parties, but not even able to have a friend over? What’s the point of having all of that furniture?)
There is a water leak on the ceiling in the main room. There are lights next to the bed but you can’t even plug them in because there are no sockets so pointless.
- Sebastian (7/5): Good - location some furniture were not in the best conditions
