• Millah (8/5): Lots to love about this fabulous apartment! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Barcelona - The balconies are wonderful for sitting in the sun and very comfortable. You have the choice of the front balcony in the morning and the back balcony in the afternoon. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and very clean and the location is perfect. Communication with the staff who run the building is also very swift and very good. They respond very quickly. There are two bathrooms and plenty of hot water and everything that you really need in the kitchen. It’s very spacious and we were three friends with three separate rooms so it worked perfectly for us. We really didn’t get on with the electronic key. We could only use it on one phone which meant we had to stay together, normally when we travel we sometimes split up and pass the key from person to person to the one that’s likely to get back first. Because it was on my telephone, we couldn’t do that. Several times it wouldn’t open the apartment door, and I had to shut my phone down and reload the app in order to get the key to work. I have an iPhone 17 which is the latest so don’t really know what the problem was. Also, I got a notification to say the key had been removed at 9:58 am on our final day, even though checkout was at 11 am. That meant that had we not already left we wouldn’t have been able to get back in to get all our gear before heading to the airport. The shower in the ensuite bathroom was very difficult to use because the showerhead did not lock and was broken so the only way to have a shower was to hold on to the shower cable, it’s quite difficult to have a one-handed shower! I am sure if I had contacted the relevant person it would’ve been fixed but for the short time that we stayed it was a very small issue to deal with. There is a reasonable request to take the rubbish to the bins in the street when you leave, and when I asked where they were I was told they were near the apartment but not given a location. We saw lots of recycling and waste bins in several squares, but none anywhere near our apartment, so we just put the small amount of rubbish that we had into an ordinary street bin rather than the big recycling bins. It would be good if there was a map or a street address of where to find the bin. We walked up and down lots of the streets near our apartment and didn’t see any.

• Kasey (6/5): decent place, great location - We loved the location and the terraces on the property. We likes that it had a washer and great air conditioning. Getting into the property was such a hassle. The door app they use sucks and it would not work. I emailed and called the property owners several times before they responded. They then tried to tell me over the phone all the things i was doing wrong. In the end the app was just crappy. I had to asked several times for them to send someone over to let us into our apartment. After 45 minutes of waiting in the hall, they sent someone with a key card. We were told that this actually happens all the time.... you think they would be prepared. The dryer was broken and the property was very dull with no color, personal touches or pictures on the wall. It was the most expensive place we stayed in spain so i was expecting a bit more from the property.

• Tracy (6/5): Great place but issues with getting keys - The terrace was lovely and the apartment was spacious It took over 2 hours to access the property. The electronic key was not working and it took several phone calls to the managing agent who eventually sent someone round with a key. We only had one front door key between 3 of us.

• Lisa (9/5): A lovely apartment in a superb location that enhanced our family stay in this beautiful city. - Location was excellent, apartment was a great size and both balconies were great. All rooms had everything needed, were comfortable and clean. Mobile entry system was easy to use. Staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved listening to the church in the square behind the property with the occasional organ playing. Some small maintenance needed on plug sockets and shutter winding mechanism as worried they might break. Kitchen needed a few more items like another rack in oven as only 1 shelf, more bowls for cereal.
• Spyridon (7/5): Good - Excellent location, excellent view, great appartment, great balcony front and rear, quality furniture. Shame the great living room window wasn't very clean. I filled all the forms, payed and entered my card details as asked. On the check in day, they wouldn't send me the details of the autonomous check in, because they could not charge my card for the guarantee deposit of 300. After a few messages, they sent me a link, I payed the 300 and entered the appartment. I have checked out 9 days ago and still haven't got my deposit back. I sent a few messages, they couldn't find the 300, they asked for a bank receipt, they sent these details to the accounting... I am still waiting...
• Sarah (8/5): Nice apartment, great location, helpful owners. - We loved the location, 5 mins walk to La Rambla, Gothic Quarter and Port Vell. Also close to the metro station. We loved the front and rear terraces. Also, the bedrooms were very comfortable. The whole place was a very good size for four adults. The owners were very helpful with our queries and quick to respond. We would stay here again without hesitation. We were a little surprised to find there wasn’t a tea towel, dishcloth or any washing up liquid. We had to buy these things which was a shame as we were only there for a few nights. There was also a dishwasher but it wasn’t worth us buying a bag of tablets for one or two washes. We left behind a nearly full bottle of washing up liquid, which I suspect was not left for the next occupants. If this had been made obvious in the listing we could have bought our own. The electronic key was a bit temperamental initially, so a real key as backup would have been nice.

One bedroom had no mirror No safe, however advertised as it had. Shortage on crockery! The apartment was for 6 people only 2 cereal bowls! No tea towel.

A member of staff on the out of hours number didn't even check and ring back like she said she would to make sure we had found the apartment and could access it. The app worked for the electronic key in the end, but there really should be at least some photos of the apartment location, main door, how to get to it, what floor its on etc. Made the begginning of our stay really stressful.

• Kerry (7/5): We had a wonderful time during our stay. - The property is well situated with a lovely view of the harbour. The apartment is very spacious and the beds are comfortable. It was lovely to be able to sit on the terrace in the morning sun and have breakfast. The lounge and dining room were lovely and the seating was comfortable. Nice clean fridge and lots of cupboard space for groceries. The digital key system works very well. The support staff gave amazing service throughout the pre booking and check in stages. The kitchen equipment needs some attention. The very basics are provided and I had to borrow some things from my son’s apartment to be able to cook our Christmas lunch. The dishwasher drawers are very rusted. The one large plate was chipped. Very small glasses. Large pot is warped so it wobbles on the stove when it boils. No oven dishes for cooking. No oven gloves. No dish towel to dry dishes or dish rack to stack wet dishes. The main en suite bathroom smells of mould or something like that. I didn’t see any mould but there is a smell. Extra blankets could be provided for the colder nights. Other than that the place is wonderful.
• Mark (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent. Plenty of space in the apartment and the terrace was great area to relax. There are a few maintenance issues, some lights not working and the walls in the bedroom terrace needed to be repainted. Neither of these issues spoiled our stay.
• Hanneli (10/5): Great location, great apartment with 2 terraces and views - Greatest possible location in old town, great apartment. Looks new and clean and professional. Good beds, pillows and towels. Everyhting needed is there, including washing machine, dishes, dishwasher etc. Welcome package with washing liquid and trash bags etc was nice. Also shampoo and toilet papers. Would be great to have a small package for salt, oil, sugar as well. Electronic key is convenient. Also house entrance and elevator looked nice, not warn. 5th floor, amazing views from the 2 terraces (morning sun and evening sun). Be aware that photos in booking are from 2 apartments and you don’t know which one you get. One is with better views and sunbeds. But also the second was great. Terrace towards the sea is quite noisy, so we preferred the option to sit and eat inside (was nice still). Two bathrooms is a great luxury, but one of the toilets did not work and the room smelled. When it is fixed, will be a good advantage for apartment.

• D (9/5): Spacious, modern apartment in a fabulous location, with 2 great terraces. - We had to go to a separate location to collect the keys. We arrived in Barcelona around 8 am, so we were able to store our luggage until the apartment was ready. This was great and we were able to see the sights that day. Everyone that works there is very friendly and patient and accommodating. A+ The location is great at the base of the gothic quarter. Spacious apartment with a terrace overlooking the marina out front and one in the back overlooking a church. Everyday, we walked into the square to a bakery for breakfast and cappuccino. Would stay there again, if the below items were resolved. We went to Mallorca for 3 days and were able to store our big suitcases at the main office and just take our smaller suitcases. This was a wonderful favor and saved us a lot of money, if we would have had to pay for those big suitcases on the plane. Unfortunately, the apartment below us was undergoing a renovation, so everyday we were awakened to jack hammers and loud construction, which was very disappointing and not very relaxing. This was from 8:00/9:00 am-5:00 pm. The kitchen could use more dishes and glasses, etc. Would have liked to see a binder/book with places to go, eat, and directions on how to use the oven, washer, dryer, tv, etc. I did not see this. I had trouble starting the washer and dryer a few times. Had to unplug, but eventually got it going. The shower in the 2nd bathroom leaked out into the hallway along the floor and base molding. I cleaned it up and did not report it, but you could see this had happened for a while, because there was water damage and mildew.
