• Suarez Bastias (9/5): Excellent location - The staff was very friendly and gave us excellent tips on how to move in the city, where to eat, and all about public transit. The location was really good, close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Also, walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and other attractions, and very close to the public transit. Good WiFi and there is a washing machine and vacuum cleaner, which is very convenient. The apartment is on the 5th floor without elevator. The oven needs trays. The bathroom door needs lock.

The balcony was gorgeous and it really felt very homely The electricity cut out multiple times, meaning if we wanted to use the oven, we had to make sure that all the lights and other switches were off which was pretty inconvenient, although we did get used to it and didn’t use the oven or hob much
• Maria (1/5): - Solo della presenza di due bgani e della posizione siamo rimanste soddifatte, il fatto che era abbastanza vicino a due fermate della metro e all’autobus. Niente più. Pessima esperienza, sconsigliato. Siamo rimaste molto deluse dal soggiorno e purtroppo non possiamo consigliare questa struttura. I problemi sono iniziati ancora prima dell’arrivo: non ci è stato comunicato che il check-in dovesse essere fatto in un’agenzia diversa dall’appartamento, costringendoci a camminare avanti e indietro per circa 20 minuti sotto il sole. Appena entrate in casa, abbiamo subito notato che l’appartamento non corrispondeva alle foto: niente aria condizionata, ma solo dei ventilatori vecchi e impolverati che non rinfrescavano minimamente. Un bagno era senza finestra, con muffa sulla tenda della doccia e persino degli indumenti lasciati da ospiti precedenti. Nell’altro bagno la tenda cadeva continuamente. Il phon fornito non funzionava e il Wi-Fi era disponibile solo nel salone. Il frigorifero emetteva un fastidioso allarme ogni volta che lo si apriva per più di qualche secondo. In una camera, la finestra era posizionata proprio sopra il letto della mia amica, rendendo impossibile aprirla senza rischi: infatti si è anche fatta male sbattendo la testa. Il peggio è successo la prima sera: al nostro ritorno alle 23, la porta d’ingresso non si apriva. Abbiamo provato per 30 minuti, poi chiamato il numero di emergenza (che sulla carta è attivo 24 ore su 24) ben 14 volte, senza ricevere mai risposta. Disperate, abbiamo chiesto aiuto a due ragazze di un bar vicino. Loro hanno chiamato lo stesso numero e, incredibilmente, hanno ricevuto risposta immediata. Ci è stato detto che le nostre chiamate non risultavano (difficile crederlo dopo 14 tentativi). Dopo altri 10 minuti è arrivata una persona in moto per aiutarci, ma anche lui non riusciva ad aprire. Solo dopo essere andato a prendere un’altra chiave, finalmente siamo riuscite a entrare. In totale siamo rimaste fuori casa per oltre 2 ore, in un paese straniero, di notte, in sei ragazze.

I don't recall being informed that it was the top apartment and that there were no elevators. Took 100 steps to reach the apartment and we had to lug our suitcases up. The apartment did not have bath soap which is a basic necessity. For the price we paid and the expectation of the apartment it could use a more comfortable seating area and updated kitchen equipment. It also could be decorated more pleasing.

The flat is spacious and typical Spanish. Apartments Gaudi Barcelona runs several flats in the quarter. Our had no roof, no balcony (as suggested by the pictures), the flat was nice but old and "worn" (cleaned and maintained properly but a refurbishments could improve overall quality a lot). There were no information previously which flat will we get. The address is that of the central office.

Very easy and quick communication with the owners. The beds could be more comfortable.

• Iurii (10/5): It is really a kind of atmospheric place, bohema district with a Spanish character! - A clean cozy accommodation for a family or two couples. A supermarket is just opposite the house, and is open in the evening. No car noise at all, you'll only hear people chatting downstairs in the cafe until midnight (no music). 8 to 10 minutes walk to metro stations (yellow and green lines). You will be pleased to stay there if you don't mind 80 stairs up to the floor :) Nice mini balcony. Hosts have been very responsive, helpful, and understanding. Wi-Fi and all facilities that are on the list are OK. The 2nd bathroom door regards attention.

• Francesco (1/5): I find it hard to see how Booking.Com can allow false statements on the website. - The property was not in the location shown on the maps on Booking site. They explained that they have several appartments in the area and that is what we get. No lift. We were in the 4th floor, 88 steps down and up to our room. We had to carry 3 large suitcases up and down with 2 small ones. The facilities were NOT what was advertised. 1 toilet as the second could not have a child sit down. The oven was dirty, The fridge was not clean, No cooling, I have photos to attach if possible Almost Everything about the property as advertised on Booking.Com was not true. 4th floor with narrow stairs and no lift makes it almost impossible for couples to take up and down their cases. The advert said taxes paid with price then tell me no that was cleaning. If I had options to move we would.

• Farkas (8/5): Great apartmant for group of friends - Big, open spaces. Lots of rooms and common areas. Bit outdated furniture and one of the bathrooms useless due to such small space. But otherwise perfect for a big group of friends.

• John (10/5): Great place to know the Gràcia neighborhood in Barcelona - The place is confortable, well connected in the Gràcia neighborhood. The apartment is well equipped, Wi-Fi, laundry, air conditioner. The staff is friendly and he gave us many useful information about Barcelona. Everything was ok.
• Luca (1/5): Stole 100 euro from us + very dirtyy - - They charged us 200 euro as a deposit in case of damages and they kept 100 euro because we left trash in the trash bins. Also it was horrible dirty everywhere and the staff refused to give our money back. The conditions where bad, no AC, only a few fans but not every fan was working, our room didn't even have a door!!

• Roy (5/5): our stay would have been perfect if it weren’t for the bad bits which would be easy fixes to keep on top of. - The location was perfect, nice and quiet, ease of access to the metro and other transport nearby and not far to walk to the main areas either. the apartment is a good size too and would have been perfect if it weren’t for the bad bits. unfortunately the double bed was not that comfortable, they definitely need to invest in a much better one. The aircon worked but it desperately needed a service as it occasionally screams and sounds like a turkey yelling which meant it was either very hot at night or you were randomly woken up during the night by the screeching of the aircon. Also the fridge definitely needs replacing as on the first night it sounded like a diesel generator randomly in the night waking everyone up, luckily we could turn it off overnight and back on in the day (not ideal)

• Francesca (7/5): Good - The home is big and spacious, airy with a cozy balcony, with 2 bathrooms and located in a very lovely neighbourhood full of restaurants and tapas bar. Very close to the subway and easy access to the city centre. Bed were comfy and of good size. wifi works well in the living room/kitchen area, but is low in the bedroom at the back. The flat is at the second floor without an elevator, so keep this in mind. The tv is outdated, perhaps it would be worthy investing few €€ in a smart tv, can be useful special for families with kids for entertainment on rainy days. The toilet in the hallway has some flush refilling problems, it really didn't bother us anyway, just be aware.

• Kinga (9/5): Superb - The apartment has a great central location. Close to the metro, but also within 15-20 minutes walking distance to the main attractions. The neighbourhood is very cosy. It has a spacious living room and a functional kitchen. The bedrooms are a bit small and dark, but it was still a good place to rest.
• J. (9/5): Very nice and quiet apartment, Perfect location! - Great location only a few hundred meters from the metro station Verdaguer. Nice apartment on very quiet street. But a lot of good restaurants, supermarkets and bars nearby. The lady who gave us the keys was very kind and helpful. We would have appreciated bigger blankets on the beds.

• Ewelina (4/5): Huge disappointment - Lot of grocery stores and tapas bars around. Apartment look totally different to the ones showed on the 150+ pictures in the offer. Basically there is just 2 pictures of actual apartment we got (part of kitchen, and one bedroom). Apartment was dark, needed full wall painting. Kitchen window was located on the pavement level with people looking inside when window was open . There were windows from the hall directly to the bedrooms!!!! Lack of basic privacy. Broken, folding doors to the bathroom. Even less privacy than with bedroom. There was huge pipe under the ceiling, so whoever used bathroom/ run water in the upper floors, all this water flew down with pipes and was making huge noise in the bedrooms and whole apartment.
• Alessandra (2/5): the worst experience ever with the staff - the location The apartment was a bit old and the pictures posted on booking don’t correspond fully to reality. Anyway the worst experience ever with the staff, they were impolite and they accused us of a broken mirror that fell down in the bathroom (luckily no one of us was there and no one got hurt) we did not do. After that pieces of glass on the floor in the bathroom that were not cleaned during our stay and we had to do it. Last but not least they have tried to take money from my card many times before the check out and during the check out they even asked some money cash. Overall such an horrible experience with this host and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!!
• Jakub (8/5): Very good - There were additional bed sheets and towels. Toilet paper and washing machine tabs under the bathroom sink. I was bitten by unexpected mosquitos :/
• Leon (3/5): Never again - Location is perfect - both the region and proximity to public transport. A lot of cafe, restaurants, shops around. The building is authentic and picturesque. The flat itself is spacious and quiet. And the staff is friendly. The property is in the poor condition. All the doors are old and the paint is damaged (see the pic). Walls were painted last time when General Franco was buried. 4 of 5 sinks are almost stuck. Towels are with big spots of chlorine, no fan, no shampoo, only 2 bottles with cheap liquid soap. All the electricity cables and water tubes are ON the walls (not inside). Sliding doors do not (or very difficult) close/open. One of kitchen compartments doors is half in the air. The fridge stands on 3 legs and therefore is swinging heavily. And finally, there was 2-3 liters of water dripping on your head and the corridor floor from the upper neighbors taking shower each morning.
• Astrīda (1/5): Bad - Location Dirt, bad smell from the toilet. Giant cockroaches are crawling around the apartment. The pictures do not correspond to the reality, the price is high for such a first floor apartment. on the door and liguem bars as a place of imprisonment. Dishes in a sorry state. Kitchen appliances, in poor condition. The mentioned coffee machine does not exist.
