• Allison (10/5): Unforgettable stay with breathtaking views, thoughtful amenities. You'll never want to leave. - This property was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip. The location alone felt like something out of a movie — perched high on the mountainside overlooking Old Town and the Adriatic Sea, with views that never got old. Every morning started with coffee on the balcony and every evening ended watching the sunset over the water. It quickly became our favorite part of the stay. And speaking of the balcony — the hot tub was an incredible bonus. There was nothing better than relaxing in it during sunset or just after, unwinding from a long day of sightseeing while overlooking Old Town and the sea. It honestly felt like something out of a travel magazine and added a little extra magic to the stay. The home itself was beautiful, clean, and very well equipped. While the bedrooms were on the smaller side, each had its own private bathroom, which made it incredibly comfortable for couples or friends traveling together. The bathrooms were thoughtfully stocked and had many of the comforts you’d expect from a quality hotel. The kitchen was also a pleasant surprise and had everything we needed for mornings at home or light meals before heading out for a day of sightseeing. The espresso machine with coffee pods was a great touch, along with the toaster, cookware, and all the little extras that made the place feel welcoming and lived in rather than just another rental. Another huge plus — especially for travelers with a rental car — was the private garage. Having secure, safe parking gave us real peace of mind, and the property itself felt quiet and tucked away from the crowds while still being close enough to enjoy everything the city had to offer. The elevator was also a lifesaver, particularly on a three-week European trip with our oversized American luggage. Trust me, after hauling bags around Europe, not having to drag them up endless stairs felt like a luxury all on its own. What truly elevated the experience was the host. Other than the bedrooms being a bit smaller and the mattresses leaning a little firmer than our personal preference, there was nothing to fault. Neither issue took away from the overall experience, and the property more than made up for it with the incredible location, amenities, and comfort.

• Marina (10/5): Thanks Danijela, we want to come back as soon as we can! <3 - The place really is lovely. Immaculate condition and really nice to be in, nice calming modern decor, good sized living room easily enough for 4 peolle (we were only 2). Bedrooms were nice and quiet. Loads of wardrobe space if you want to hang things up. Everything just worked - even down to great water pressure in the shower, fast AC and decent sized tvs in both the living area and bedrooms. The balcony view with a combination of sea and Old Town vista is second to none! You can watch the patterns in the sea and the big ships & little boats coming and going, and you can see the whole shape of the Old Town wrapped by the walls.. Yet it is only 10mins walk to the Old Town (or maybe 15min on the way back as it's uphill!). It was actually really lovely to do the walk into town each day as you get to see the town and its gorgeous walls and roofs from that distance and you get to take it in all at once, which you can't from inside then old town itself! Our host Danijela was welcoming, explained the facilities very clearly, had good recommendations for food and activities, and was very accommodating about our late arrival and slightly late check out due to our prebooked travel times. Thrre is a lift so no problem getting our luggage inside and a welcome break after the steep walk back from town (you could get a bus or uber instead but we chose to burn off our gelato). The moment we arrived we were saying to each other over and over that we must come back to this exact apartment again! The road in front can sometimes be a bit loud specifically when you're on the balcony, but I do want to emphasise that this did not affect the bedrooms at all.
