- Nikolina (10/5): - Odlična lokacija, domacin ljubazan.
- Hrnjic (10/5): Doček Nove - Lokacija, prozori gledaju na Stradun Sve ok
- Iryna (9/5): -
- Susan (10/5): -
- Dennis (9/5): - Located along The Stradum of the old town of Dubovnik. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops. None
- Andy (8/5): Absolutely fantastic - Location could not be any better WiFi was poor at certain times of the day
- Anuradha (9/5): - Amazing location, only a flight of stairs to the accommodation
- Jt_151 (9/5): Fantastic location - The apartment is in a fantastic location you are literally steps away from all of the main attractions for Dubrovnik. What is especially helpful is it's right next to the Pile Gate where a lot of the tours leave from.
The bed was comfy, the shower was really good. The air-conditioning was a huge blessing in the heat.
The apartment does have a small kitchen area which is helpful. Especially the fridge which was great for keeping water cool in. There is a bit of noise outside which is completely understandable given the location.
- Iselin (9/5): -
- Simone (10/5): Tutto perfetto - Proprietario gentilissimo e molto cordiale .

- Saara (9/5): - Lovely place to stay! The owner Nerio was super nice and helpful. Everything was well organised and communication flawless. Room was comfortable, clean and location very central in the Old Town. Due to the location (close to the Main Street, 1st floor, windows to narrow street), some noise in the late evening and early morning that might disturb someone sleeping lightly. Being a pretty sound sleeper, I wasn't much bothered.
- Jelena (9/5): - The owner and his wife were wonderful hosts. The property location was amazing and it had everything for a basic solo traveler.
- Maureen (7/5): Good - Excellent location, Nerio was very helpful and responsive Hot water ran out very quickly, no TV, no mirror outside of bathroom
- Gjezahir (10/5): - - apartment is in the old town. clean, comfy and with everything you need. -
- Gema (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect. The host is super nice and helped us a lot.
- Sarah (1/5): Bad -
- Viola (10/5): The host was very thoughtful in showing us how everything worked and in giving us greatly appreciated advice on the city - It was a fantastic location, just inside the Pike gateway. It was surprisingly quiet for this location on the busy through way. It was fittingly and tastefully furnished for the period building and had all the modern conveniences such as washer/ dryer, separate kitchen area from the bedroom/ living room. The place was very clean and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. Absolutely nothing.
- Emre (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik old town. - The location is close to everywhere. We easily traveled the old town and Dubrovnik. Room is comfortable and hygienic. Hotel includes a lot of kitchen and bathroom tools that you can use.
- Pamela (9/5): I would highly recommend Dreams Stradun for location and comfort. - Loved location, property owner was charming and helpful. Hot water ran out quickly but that’s it!
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Nerio the owner was excellent—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything yet quiet and comfortable.
We have no hesitation in highly recommending the Dreams Stradun Apartments to anyone looking for a great stay. I would definitely book again! nothing
- Alexandra (9/5): Spacious, comfy beds and location close to everything. Highly recommend - apartment was spacious, beds were comfortable, location was super easy, accessible and right in the heart of the old town. Owner Nerio was super nice. Nothing to fault
- Fadi (8/5): Very good -
- Amelie (7/5): No Frills, but Perfect Old City location without Steps - As a solo traveler, I wanted to stay within the walls ...but i wanted to avoid any climbing and carrying luggage up and down. The location of this apt was perfectly situated along the main street -- The Stradum -- approximately 5 "blocks" from PILE gate...so about a five minute walk. Extremely convenient to go back to throughout the day. It's located on the second floor of a building that sits above a storefront. Entrance is along one of the skinny streets and where a popular Gelateria is. I loved the location. The apt is one flight up steps (no lift), entry is a bit multi step since you enter into a "store" and then go up the stairs and then need to use your key to enter the main multi-room floor. And then a key into your own apt, that has it's own bathroom. The bathroom shower is small but functional with hairdryer. Hot water runs out if you have it blasting too high, so I learned that the hard way. The room itself is a bit tired, but served its purpose since I only needed a place to sleep as I was out all day exploring. There is a mini fridge. Towels and bedding should be replaced as they are worn thin and scratchy, but the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine, but I went in October so not too hot outside. I kept the windows closed, so it was quiet ..and there is no view as the next building is just feet away and you look down into an alleyway. Overall, I would recommend this location if you don't mind no frills. I felt perfectly safe, location was excellent, and it had basic amenities. The pricing for boutique hotels were so expensive if you stayed in the old city, so I considered this to be fairly priced, although what is NOT clearly stated is that you MUST PAY IN CASH (EUROS OR U.S. DOLLARS). Five nights was $820 dollars for me at the time, so you can do the math on the daily rate, which fluctuates based on time of year I presume. Towels were very thin and scratchy, throw rugs and bedding were old/worn thin. Furniture was old school so like visiting your grandma's house. Not a big dieal tho. Room was on the dark side, but I was just sleeping there so not a big issue. Suggest having adapters there for plugs. A keurig coffee maker would have been nice.
- Michael (6/5): Great location, quiet . - Location is excellent, the bed very comfortable, the room quiet when the windows were closed. Given the price of the rental I expected better finishes in the apartment than are there. Also, this property was selected over other nearby properties because it advertised a clothes washer which wasn’t available.
- Latoosa (8/5): The heart of the old city - The location was exceptional. Right off the main street in the heart of the old city. For that alone this place was great.
- Judith (10/5): Very comfortable - Close to everything i needed Nothing
- Nancy (10/5): Perfect location. Clean. Pay cash in Euros upon arrival. Niero very helpful on city map and info on Old Town. Highly rec - Excellent communication from Niero. Clean. Outstanding location. Quiet.
- Rhenan (9/5): Lovely host, central location and affordable accommodation’s. - The location was perfect. Center of Old Town. Walking distance to shops, dining, experiences. Our host Nerio and his wife were amazing host. Answered all of our questions and was very accommodating. Only feed back would be to upgrade the internet/wifi option. It was terribly slow. And often had no signal at times.
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect. Easily accessible.only 1 flight of stairs.
- Marcio (7/5): Good - it's very good location , quiet , very convinient , the owner is very nice person . we could go to the beach easier banj beach. we had to pay in cash, and we didn't know and we had to go to machine to get cash. the room could be clearner
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Chantelle (8/5): Very good - The location is excellent and the beds were very comfortable after a day of sightseeing.
- Luna (9/5): Superb - All of it...clean, location is perfect, modern. I think if the owner mentions to guests which gate they should enter from, that would be helpful, thanks.
- Iva (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location in the heart of Dubrovnik's old town. Very comfortable apartment. It had everything we needed. The host was great, very helpful and gave great recommendations. We had an amazing time. We loved everything
- Marlies (9/5): Very nice to explore this old town - Very nice location in the middle of old town, enough room. Nothing
- Kimberly (7/5): Lovely host. In perfect location to sight see. Not lots of facilities and dates but very clean - Proximity to the town and attractions Small room. Old fashioned. Cash only
- Parin (5/5): Great location but not the room. - Location was ideal. Right inside the old town. It was quiet. No street noise. We were met by the host. Bed was comfortable. Kettle for coffee was provided. The cupboard for customer use was extremely limited - one single piece whilst the other cupboards were locked. There were unusable furniture in the room which occupied the space making it smaller - glass display cabinet and a chest which occupied space. These could have been drawers, cupboard, desk for the use for guests. The rugs on the floor and the bed spread were very tacky. The TV only had a few local channels - no international news / entertainment channels - not ideal for overseas guests. Not to the standard you would expect for the price.
- Saroengrom (10/5): Highly recommend! - I love it here! Perfect location on main street of old town so you are close to everything. Host, Nerio is very friendly, informative and helpful. He spent time showing the map, explaining the old town highlights, how to get around the city. The room was very clean and nicely decorated.
- Neven (9/5): Excellent location, clean room, friendly host - The room was in the apartment located just off the main street in the Dubrovnik Old Town, so the location was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, especially with instructions how to get the keys from the box and get into the room. The room itself was very clean and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom and the shower were clean. I would highly recommend this property. The room was located in the central location, which was great, but at the same time there was a lot of noise coming from the street and the restaurant nearby. When I opened the window, the cooking smell from the restaurant always came in.
- Angela (6/5): No Frills Adequate Stay - This is just an adequate room on the second floor near the main gate. It was a decent size room with a private bath. The noise from the neighboring bar was quite disturbing as it went on until 2:30 to 3 am! The benefit of being able to return to the residence during the day without having to walk up flights and flights of steps were a real plus. The noise from the street was quite loud as the room was located next to extended hour bar which went on until 3 a.m.
- Napat (9/5): the property located in central of old town - the property located in central of old town, it really convenient to walking to the historical place, restaurants , shop and museums in old town. it located in main street (stradun street) in old town, so sometime it’s really noisy.
- Mei (8/5): Excellent location in old town - The location was very good, smack in the old town street and close to everything. Host Nerio was exceptionally kind, nice and informative. There is a good pancake shop downstairs. Nothing
- Anna (7/5): Good - The location Payment must be made in CASH upon check.in.
The washing machine in the room is not working throughout my stay, which actually defeat the purpose of me booking this apartment.
During my booking, the owner has promised to allow me for late check out at 4pm. However, on the day of arrival, he rejected my request. After showing the evidence of his promise, the next day he replied and allowed late check out at 2pm. Though is better but the 2 hours difference still affected my planning.
- Bok (7/5): Good -
- Abbott (9/5): Superb - Excellent location! Quiet. Help with luggage was appreciated.
- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional - The owner, Nerio, met me at the apartment and showed me exactly how to use the locks, showed me around the apartment, told me about all the highlights of Dubrovnik, how to get around the city, and gave restaurant recommendations. The apartment was very clean and located right in the centre of the old town; its not even a 30 second walk to the Stradun. You're so close to everything. There's no kitchen, but you do have a bar fridge and tea/coffee equipment. Plenty of storage space. I'd definitely stay here again. This wasn't an issue for me, but could be for others, especially if in a wheelchair; there's no elevator, only stairs (the apartment is only on the first floor though, so it's not many steps).
- Sharon (8/5): Had a wonderful 4 night stay. Great communication with host. - Position & size of apartment
Plenty of bathroom products available & kitchen utensils etc was great. Washing machine nor available to use, was in apartment.
Cash only payment
- Jennifer (10/5): Wonderful stay - Clean, great location Nothing
- Amy (10/5): Terrific! - The location couldn't be better - just a stone's throw from the Pile Gate on the Stradun. Although on the main drag, there was no noise! The windows are excellent, so that was no issue. The bathroom is modern with good water pressure. Kitchen with table was fine, and the room was very spacious. It sleeps 4, and has a large coffee table, chair and sofa plus bureau with TV. Plenty of room for unpacking. Nerio spoke to our cab driver as we came from the airport and met us on the street, brought our bags up the short flight of stairs and gave us a map, answered questions, recommended a great restaurant, Veritas, and showed us what we needed to know.
- Katherine (9/5): Loved staying in the Old Town in his historic building. - The location was amazing. Even though it was right on the Stradun with the windows closed it was really great. Kitchen didn’t seem super functional and there wasn’t really a place to buy real groceries anyways.
- April (8/5): Very good - Great location in the heart of the old town. Room a bit stuffy despite aircon as very loud if you opened the window.
- Bolger (8/5): Very good - Close proximity to main street in city
- Sadie (10/5): Great find - Location was perfect, close to everything, just a step from the main street. Easy to get everywhere. Accommodation (apartment) was superior, except not being a hotel we had to make the bed LOL. Not really an issue. Towels availableto change if need be. Nervous showed us on the map he provided best way to get to things such as the Wall walk & cable car etc Nothi
- Francis (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (7/5): Disappointing - Location in the old city is excellent. Only one flight of stairs off the main plaza. This property is CASH only which is not apparent until you receive your invoice. The room is spacious, but the decor is dated and lacks any charm. There is no luggage rack or stool to put your luggage. I understand now, that apartments inside the old city tend to be to be cash only but the ATM's don't dispense cash on a daily basis as in your home country.
- Farrell (8/5): Loved Dubrovnik and would happily stay there again. - It’s location and the hosts were were very helpful. Air conditioning was not very effective, ie not cooling properly… and it was hot.
- Brett (9/5): Great location - Great location. Nerio was very helpful
- Pamela (10/5): Great location in a comfortable and spacious room. - Lovely spacious apartment. Very well located in old town. Nerio, Owner was very helpful assisting us with return of an item left behind. Personal service and care was greatly appreciated.
- Belinda (8/5): Nice quite comfortable location - Location Unable to use the washing machine as other occupants flooded the floor, maybe leave instructions on how to use the washing machine
- De (8/5): Overall very nice place, conveniently located in the heart of Old Town, we really enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik. - The apartment was in the heart of Old Town, so conveniently located to all the restaurants and shops. It was clean and tidy and the host was very friendly and helpful. The shower head needs replacing as it was quite low and couldn’t adjust it. And washing machine was not working.
- Marcus (9/5): Superb - Excellent location and quality finishes.
Bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet.
Recommend it No issues
- William (10/5): Great location inside Dubrovnik’s old town - Great location just inside the Pile gate and just off the main Stradun. The host was really nice and very responsive. He also recommended cheaper metered parking option along one of the main avenues in Dubrovnik which was east to use and much less than any parking lot in town. A microwave would have been a plus
- Mark (9/5): Superb - Location fabulous N/a
- Theresa (7/5): Charming apartment in an ideal location but needs much better communication and support from host. - The location of this apartment is excellent. It was clean and charming with a wonderful access to Dubrovnik's Old Town. Air conditioning was available and necessary. Nerio was helpful in providing a local map with great suggestions. We did not like the fact that there was an emergency plumbing problem that kept us from showering for two days. Nerio told us to use a 2nd apartment's shower that another family member was staying in. The worst part was that my adult daughter was alone in the apartment at 10:00 pm on our first night, taking a shower before bed when she heard a man's voice in the apartment who then knocked on the bathroom door! This naturally frightened her very much! Turned out to be Nerio and the affected downstairs shop owner responding to the emergency.....all unexpectedly inside the apartment with my daughter in the shower and not able to get appropriately dressed! Also, we informed Nerio that the WiFi did not work and he did not address that problem either. Again, the WiFi only worked in the 2nd apartment of our family member. We did not even receive an apology for our inconvenience. Lastly, as travelers visiting Dubrovnik for the first time with no knowledge of how Dubrovnik Old Town does not allow any motor vehicles, Nerio did not provide any information, support or instructions on how to reach the apartment even when asked. We were able to get help from locals on how to use a luggage transport service and find the the apartment and then again got help from the wonderful locals when leaving for the airport.
- Yuval (7/5): Good -
- Marie-élaine (8/5): Very good - My friend and I had a great time in Dubrovnik. The apartment is really well located and we were comfortable.
- Andrew (10/5): It was a fantastic place for us to stay at Dubrovnik Old Town - just off the Stradun and on the base of all the hills - - Definitely the location and close to fantastic amenities (like The Bar the next street) None.
- Trish (9/5): Great studio in central location with very helpful host. Would recommend. - Central location with fabulous air conditioning and shower, along way with small kitchen area so fridge for cold water/ drinks. Could benefit from full length mirror in bedroom near power points to enable hair styling and dressing.
- David (6/5): Pleasant - Big, clean, location if you want to stay inside old town (put up with noise n crowd up till midnight). I will stay outside old town if I revisit Dubrovnik Noise n crowd. Apartment wooden floor are squeaky which is especially noisy middle of the night.
The air-conditioning is inadequate. Probably about 25 C coolest. Not adequate for over 30 C external temperature
The owner only accept cash on taking the keys which I was not prepared for. Luckily I had sufficient cash on hand. Gave me a rude shock.
- Dutmer (8/5): Great location in heart of walled city, quiet with good windows and Air conditioning was great (and essential). - Location great Could use another sitting option in the main room.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Great place in amazing location - Great host, bed was insanely huge and comfy. You are right in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town. Very clean place. Highly recommend. I didnt know i would have to pay by cash which was quite inconvenient for me.
- Carol (7/5): Good -
- Athena (9/5): Superb -
- Ruth (9/5): Spacious apartment in a perfect location - The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the Old Town - straight off The Stradun with no steps. Museums, landmarks, bars and restaurants all on your doorstep.
The welcome from Nerio was brilliant - he took some time to give plenty of hints and tips about the local area.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and good shower. I would really question the 'city view' aspect of the listing. The view was of a wall and window directly opposite across the narrow street - a nice view up and down the alley if you lean out the open window I would say this was a little misleading. We didn't mind too much as of course we didn't spend much time in the apartment in the daytime as there is so much to do in Dubrovnik.
We would have really appreciated the provision of a coffee machine in the apartment - coffee in the restaurants and cafes is generally expensive in Dubrovnik (generally 4-6 euros) and racks up the spending costs if you like to have a few cups in the morning.
There was no full length mirror in the apartment - the only mirror was in the bathroom. There was a full length mirror in the hallway outside but I would have liked one in the room - this would be a cheap and easy thing to amend.
- Motwani (8/5): Very good - Location At the time of booking the Host had agreed to keep our luggage for a couple of hours upon checkout but refused at the last minute
- Anonymous (10/5): Amazing time - Nerio was a great host. Amazing location
- Fotis (8/5): Very good - Very good the location. Nerio, the owner, was very helpful. Nerio told us to take the trash outside the building. It's not our job.
- Vivienne (8/5): good value stay in a premium location - right in the centre of the old city. walking distance to all the historic sights, restaurants and the port. good shower, fridge and kettle. a bit scruffy, old fashioned quilted bedspread and hard bed. huge dark wood display cabinet/sideboard with family glass and silver took up a lot of space. a bit gloomy. but worth it for the location and price.
- Violeta (7/5): Super central but a bit noisy and cash only - Super central location, great powerful shower.owner allowed us to pay in our currency which helped and was reachable when needed,he kindly waited for us as the airport bus broke down mandatory to pay in cash. As is the first floor above the main touristy road is a bit noisy, you can hear the churches bells ringing, or the street cleaners at 7am each day, even with windows closed.only one small wardrobe for the 3people we were.beds and pillows could have been confyer.sadly we couldn't leave out bags outside the apartment until our flight
- Ginger (9/5): perfect location - perfect location
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Nerio met us when we arrived and sat down with us to point out some highlights of the area and some good restaurants. The place was clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower stall was very small, however there was plenty of hot water.
- Colin (4/5): room described as luxury it certainly was not !! - location no room service and no tea/coffee facilities no reception area to leave cases etc
- Peter (1/5): Expensively awful - No breakfast included in my 160 Euros for one night. The only good point was the location of the property and as you cannot park in the old town of Dubrovnik the location was a plus. Mind you the parking of the car cost 78 Euros overnight until 1300 hrs.!!!!! It was a rip off the furniture was old the place threadbare and the owner did not speak very good English so finding him after parking the car was difficult. Luckily Dubrovnik is fairly small and the main road one straight thoroughfare.
- Tom (10/5): Superb location, excellent facilities and comfortable furnishings. - An absolutely superb location with the apartment front door less than 10 steps away from joining the Stradun.
Excellent bed and comfortable furnishings. Small but well designed bathroom with great shower. Air-conditioning was also excellent. Nothing, all was excellent.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lariy (10/5): Exceptional - Nerio was kind & helpful. We loved the location right off the Stradun. Very convenient to everything.
- Karina (9/5): Superb - Excellent location. Double glazed windows made the apartment soundproof at night. There is hardly any cupboards to unpack. We had to live out of our suitcases for four days. The owner wanted € notes in cash on arrival, which caused problems. In the end he accepted kuna in cash.
- Shane (6/5): There was a lot to see in the heart of the old town of Dubrovnik. Many places to eat and drink. - There was no breakfast as we were self catering. The location was great . The bathroom and shower were very good. Noisy outside but once the window was shut it was very quiet. The washing line outside the window was very useful. More utensils, only 2 large serving spoons instead of desert spoons. Only 1 proper size coffee mug, the rest of the cups were very small. More proper cereal bowls needed. The cupboard door to the fridge didn't shut properly. Why was there 2 single sheets on a double bed ? Aslo the quality of the sheets was poor. No one explained that we had to pay in cash when we arrived. We were quite prepared to pay by card but that was unacceptable by the owner !
- Antonio (9/5): Superb - The host was very welcoming and nice and the apartment was next to Stradun the main and most important street in Old Town in Dubrovnik!
- Ian (10/5): Best location, best host, literally most enjoyable stay in Croatia. - The location was incredible and Nerio is the best and most prepared host. Loved every second of staying in the old town. The APT had thick windows and was so quiet! Nothing, it was awesome!
- Maria (10/5): amazing, we really enjoyed Dubrovnik, the apartment plus the weather, its fantastic.😊 -
- Sorcha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helady (10/5): Amazing location in Dubrovnik - As tourists, we do not know the old city is not accessible by car. If you go by car, the parking places are a bit far from the apartment, so you need to carry your luggage through the street. Better make this very clear
