• Eric (9/5): Perfect Location - Located a few minutes walk from Pile Gate and all old town attractions. Quiet area near small picturesque bay. No face 2 face contact with staff but all communication via Booking.com regarding directions and access was excellent. Good sized and well equiped studio. Our Studio was on the second floor. There is no lift and whilst not a problem for us, some may find negotiating the stairs difficult.

• Melinda (10/5): Highly recommend such a brilliant location - Excellent location tucked away in a beautiful quiet spot next to the Pile gate. Ivona was brilliant to correspond with and her clear instructions made our stay easy. The apartment was spotlessly clean perfect and we would highly recommend it. Carrying luggage up the flights of stairs could be a problem for some travelers, but it’s worth it for such a location.

• Helen (8/5): Perfect Location 2 mins from Pile Gate. - The location was perfect! It is approx. a 2 minute walk from Pile Gate just outside the city walls next to West Bay (aka Blackwater Bay in GOT) We stayed in a Superior Suite (room 5) on the top floor and had limited views front and back of the Hilton Hotel and Lovrjenac Fortress. Our room was basic, with a small, dark shower area in the bathroom but for the price and location we can't complain. A full length mirror on the back of the studio door would be very useful and maybe a towel rail in the bathroom rather than hooks. The property stands above The Kop bar and next to a small bar/restaurant. We stayed in April so we were not disturbed as it was quiet, however I imagine it could possibly get louder if busy in the peak months. To reach our room was 44 stairs from ground to top floor so if you have mobility problems then this property might not be for you as there are no lifts, however, this is alot less than the number of steps some properties within the walls have! Ivona sent clear and conscise instructions on how to reach and enter the property and gave prompt replies to any questions we had. If you want 5 star luxury then this is not the place for you but if you are just using as a place to sleep as we did then we would recommend this property. Being on the top floor, we kept losing the wifi signal and had to keep going into the hallway to reconnect- a booster would be good. Kettle in room did not work and coffee machine was noisy. Stair way echoes so could hear other residents entering and leaving their rooms.

• Leasa (8/5): Convenient, clean and comfortable - The location of the property was brilliant, easy to find and close to amenities. Ivona was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries or concerns. Not a dislike but we had water leaking in through the ceiling on several occasions and although Ivona reported it to the owners we were advised it would be looked into but likely to take several days. Sadly we think it may be a long standing problem because looking back over previous reviews the same concern was raised as far back as September 2025. A full length mirror would have been a welcome addition to the room.

• Harvey (8/5): Great location for the price - The location could not be better on Dubrovnik West Harbour, a snug little bay between the Old Town city walls and Lovrjenac Fortress that featured several times in Game of Thrones. There are a couple of relaxed bars and it is a popular fishing and kayaking spot. The price for such a location is astonishingly good value. We stayed at the top floor rooftop conversion and it was a bit cramped and the mattress was on an uneven floor, but you are staying in the old part of town and such things are to be expected.

• Mandy (8/5): - Great location, quiet but close to everything within a few minutes walk. Everything you needed was in the apartment, with modern facilities too. Felt very fresh and newly renovated. Would definitely recommend staying here! The only points we noticed were that the fridge didn't work, or wasn't on at least and we couldn't find how to turn it on. Cleaning cloths were left but no washing up liquid to use. I would also have liked 2 sitting chairs not just one Other than that, everything was great.

• Maya (8/5): - The location of this property was lovely, easy to get to, and just a short walk from the old town. The apartment was also very modern! It would have benefitted from a toaster / microwave in the kitchen area as these are typically found in apartments and we were disappointed to not have such amenities. We also found the floor was slightly dirty making being barefoot in the apartment almost unbearable. Other than that, we had a lovely stay!

Se ocupó de reservar un taxi para el aeropuerto y estuvo siempre disponible. El baño es pequeño y le faltan perchas para colgar toallas y una repisa al lado de la bacha para cosméticos. No cuenta con jarra eléctrica y no había cucharas de té ni repasadores. Hay solo dos enchufes, uno a cada lado de la cama.

Ivona was absolutely amazing with instructions, directions and anything I need it. Everything was good. No complaints at all.
• Holly (9/5): Great! - Conveniently located just a short walk from the Old Town (Pile Gate). Very clean and comfortable room. We enjoyed our stay here. For the GOT fans - Blackwater Bay and King’s Landing is literally right outside the front door! This is not a complaint - as this was not an issue for us - but if you are a person with mobility issues, or someone who is planning to bring a large/heavy suitcase, it is important to be aware that there is no elevator within the building, only stairs. There is also a staircase to reach the main door to the building from the street.
• Cook (10/5): Great place to stay, very nice facilities and a great location. - The apartment was nicely appointed and in a great location. Ilona provided perfect instructions for how to get there, which was helpful since you do have to walk a bit down stairs and up to get to the apartment. It is so close to the Pile gate of old town and the fort. Can’t be beat. Ilona is a great host, meeting us there when we arrived, and advising us about how we needed to get from the airport. The property is above a “cafe-bar”, which Ilona had told us could be a bit noisy. On the day we arrived, my wife tried to nap in the afternoon and couldn’t well because of the noise, but they close at 8 and all is quiet after that. Also, the KOP bar staff, particularly Leo, was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations (and he was spot on), and it was a pleasure to sit in their outdoor seating and have a beer in the lovely weather we had, looking over the inlet and the city’s walls. The heating had a problem, which didn’t make a difference for us because the outside temperatures were fine, and she had a maintenance man come by to check it. He didn’t speak any English and talked very loudly in the hallway, before we realized he was the maintenance guy. A bit strange of an interaction, but not a big deal.

• Nikki (9/5): Perfect! - We absolutely loved our stay at Stone Elegance. The apartment is in such a fab location, only 5-10 minute walk to stradoon and the main tourist areas of the old town. The apartment was clean, modern with some nice touches - bottled water, soap, body wash and shampoo and a coffee machine. We didn’t hear any noise at all from the bar below (we were on the second floor). The harbour area around is breathtaking, we will definitely be back in future. Ivona was super helpful. Not a dislike but on the morning we were leaving, the ceiling was leaking from one of the beams, not sure if an issue with the rainfall the previous day or the apartment above. Ivona was very helpful and said she would have the owner check this immediately. A full length mirror would be a great addition too.
• Mark (7/5): Great location - The staff were helpful when there was a problem with someone else who self-checked into our room. They were decisive and efficient in dealing with the problem. The location is amazing and the bathroom is great. It was convenient to store our bags on the premises while waiting for our transfer. The check-in system needs a rethink. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and we struggled to get a good night's sleep.
• Michael (1/5): Disgusting, just a dirty money making scam - Ivona was very helpful in arranging our arrival and access to the building / room and taxi when we left. The place was filthy, disgusting, dust on all small ledges, under the bed had never been swept, there were cup rings on the ledge above the bed and tea stains down the front of the cupboard under the sink and by the rubbish bin within it. The room was cramped, we were up in the eaves and could not stand on one side of the bed or at the sink. The bathroom was minute, your feet were under the basin when on the toilet and you looked into a room across the way, they could watch you. The shower was very narrow, I could not stand under the shower head properly as there was not room width wise, I was sideways on. There was a rack for hanging clothes but no shelves to put anything on, hardly room for our two suitcases. We did see in an apartment on the first floor and that was far roomier. We were put in the eaves in a room not fit for purpose, the owner just being greedy for money. Do not stay in apts 5 or 6.

• Amy (10/5): Amazing location, great value for money, big room with comfy bed - Amazing location, spacious room, host helpful. Coffee and restaurant in close vicinity, and you are extremely close to Blackwater bay and the red keep if you're game of thrones fans. The air conditioning was a particular highlight and bed very comfortable. Coffee machine in room. It's a very mild thing as host was very helpful but some of the emails received slightly long so easy to miss some key info. Also and again very very minor but the coffee machine may need to be descaled soon. But we had an amazing times so these are so minor.

The views from both inside and outside the apartment include the castle and the old town. The host, Ivana, was helpful and friendly. I plan to return in the future. i didn't dislike anything , i found everything was exceptional for the price.

Also a nice restaurant next door which we didn't try. The room was clean, very basic, overall stay was very good. The price was a bit high for the basic amenities, missing night stands and a mirror in the room.

• Fraser (9/5): I’d reccomend Stone Elegance to friends visiting. The location is perfect! - The location couldn’t be better. You’re outside of the main old town which is always very busy but just outside the entrance. You’re also between two beaches. Room is exactly as pictured. Whilst we were provided with some cutlery, there wasn’t a knife. When we did make sandwiches at the apartment one day, as there’s no sink aside from the bathroom we had to wash up our cutlery and plates in there.

Even though the property was relatively well sound proofed, the music could still be heard making it difficult to sleep
