• Caoimhe (10/5): - Amazing location, lots of shops, restaurants and attractions within short walking distance. 3minute to bus stops or taxi ranks outside the old town walls. Ubers to/from the airport for about €20. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Great value for money.

We loved the bottle of wine she gifted us and enjoyed a lovely evening with wine and pastries at the apartment. The washing machine and clothes hanger were very handy. The apartment had plenty of amenities, including dishes, pans, an oven, a fridge, a hair dryer, and hot water available all day. The location was excellent, very close to Pile Gate and Stradun, so we had lots of restaurants, shops, and landmarks within walking distance. We had to carry our luggage up to the second floor (which felt like the third floor to us, since in my country the ground floor counts as the first), but we made it!

• Brett (10/5): Amazing location, the apartment is exactly as described and we had the most amazing pasta at the restaurant right at the - Location location location, no stairs to get to the property and once inside two flights of stairs. Washing machine was well appreciated since we travel carry on luggage only. Sound proof windows were amazing to block out 99.9% of street noise Noise from neighbouring apartment and the stairwell at times and there’s keyless entry to building but not the apartment, would like to see keyless entry to the apartment so no need for the cumbersome key ring, but take nothing away from the apartment we lived our stay in old town and will definitely recommend to all our friends.

The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Pequenos problemas durante a estadia foram a dificuldade para aquecer a água (após 3 dias entendemos que era necessário ligar o aquecedor por um tempo antes de poder usar o chuveiro) e o controle do ar condicionado sem pilhas, que impediu que desligassemos o aparelho. Infelizmente, minha experiência acabou sendo duramente afetada por uma mensagem rude da proprietária, após meu check-out, reclamando que eu não havia limpado o apartamento (deixei roupas de cama usadas sobre as camas; louça usada na cozinha; e lixo nas lixeiras). Aparentemente tinha expectativa que fosse feita uma limpeza completa da hospedagem no check-out, o que não é padrão nem havia sido combinado. Por fim, acusou minha familia de quebrar a porta do box e uma saboneteira, o que não aconteceu.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Amazing stay in Dubrovnik - Entire studio apartment in the heart of Old Town. All the appliances we needed. Super spacious and clean! Our host was very gracious and accommodated our late night check in. We had an amazing stay! The apartment is right above a Pizzeria which we frequented multiple times. I highly recommend. Also Pero from the car service was fantastic! It’s a 2nd floor unit so be prepared to carry your luggage up a couple flights of stairs.

• Sue (7/5): Great location; just a few minor things that would make a difference. - Excellent location and convenient for walking the wall, visiting top attractions and catching buses. We arrived early evening. Mrs Aida organised a taxi (40euro) from the airport to Pile Gate and met us outside HardRock Cafe to guide us to our accommodation and hand over the keys. We organised an Uber to get back to the airport (23.90euro). The property entry fronts onto a street lined with restaurants and we had a very good Mexican meal on our first night. We used the washing machine and powder was provided. However it wasn't until we were leaving that we noticed the washing line (and pegs) attached to the wall below the kitchen window - but which wouldn't have been helpful as it rained during our stay. Our hosts left us a bottle of local wine which we appreciated. There are no distant views from the two windows in the apartment but that didn't worry us. A handbook/local guide would have been helpful. We've used many different washing machines during our travels and it's always useful to have an explanation when buttons and dials are in a different language. Fortunately the machine at Naval Apartment, for us, was self explanatory. A foldable drying rack would have helped to hang not only washing but towels, as there was no satisfactory rail or hooks in the bathroom. Although wifi was good we only found three accessible plugs to charge phones etc. And a small jug of milk would have been useful to make a hot drink when we arrived as we could find nowhere in the immediate vicinity to buy any.

• Johanna (9/5): Absolutely lovely, would stay again - This apartment was so well-located right in the middle of the Old City. So easy to get everywhere. Mrs Aida met us and was so helpful. Yes there are two sets of stairs up to the apartment, but no stairs to get to the building, which is remarkable in the Old Town. The windows were excellent and shut out all the noise from below. It was nice to be able to go and have a glass of Malvasijia in Mea Culpa right outside the front door while my daughter stayed in the apartment. The shower cubicle is slightly on the small side and the floor bounces a little - not criticism, just information.

• Andrew (9/5): Self contained apartment in the heart of Old Town, Dubrovnik. - Fantastic location, with access to the apartment from a laneway restaurant terrace in the Old Town, close walk to everything you'd want to see and do. The washing machine was handy along with the kitchen facilities and wine glasses so we could take the complimentary bottle of wine and sit in the park under the trees in what used to be part of the moat below Pile Gate and enjoy the scenery. Mrs. Aida was helpful and responsive although unfortunately we didn't get to meet her in person. A bit noisy with some clomping around in the apartment above, but only during the day so it didn't really cause us any issues. Wifi was intermittent.

Host kindly met us at 9.30am to allow us access to store our luggage; apartment was ready for check-in by 11.00am. Host left a bottle of wine for us. Two flights of stairs to negotiate with suitcases; bathroom/shower was quite small.

• Jon (8/5): Very good - Great host and convenient location in the old town. Comfortable bed and many facilities to use. The air-con was a relief during the summer heat. The floors are old and you can hear footsteps from apartment above. Unfortunately for us the guest upstairs like to party late so we didn't get much sleep.

In the heart of the old town which is close to many beaches. Aida was lovely and super flexible with check in/check out. The room was well stocked with linen, kitchen appliances and equipe to do clothes washing. Nothing, it was perfect

The property was very well appointed with the all amenities of home loved how all the little special touches made to be feel as comfortable as possible when you’re away from home.
• Libby (10/5): Lovely stay, quaint, comfortable and relaxing apartment - Tucked away in the corner of Dubrovnik not far from the front gate. Very authentic, old world, comfortable apartment with all the amenities required. Lovely history to the venue. Shower a bit tight, hot water service too low on the wall, hit my head more than once and I am not tall. Otherwise a great venue.

• J (9/5): Lovely experience in dubrovnik old town. - The apartment was right at the old town. All the attractions shopping food just around the apartment. Aida had welcomed us n explained all requirements on the map. She had kept a wine bottle complementary for us. The apartment was neat n had all things stocked in the kitchenette. This was more personal... and not related to apartment; we had to walk from pile gate upto apartment as no taxi can go inside the old town. And room was on second floor had to climb 2 flight of stairs with heavy baggage.

The 2 flights of stairs with heavy luggage. The teeny, tiny shower which didnt drain properly, the enclosed feeling of apartment with no balcony or place to hang washing. The worst thing though was having the host communicate to us the day before checkout that we could leave by 1pm and then at about 11.30 on the day of checkout, texts and says we have to be out by 12:00.... SO UNPROFESSIONAL and had to do a hurried, stressful pack as a result.....left a bad spin on a mediocre apartment at best!!

Unfortunately, our bags didn't arrive when we did, and Aida, our host, was amazing and helped coordinate their safe return to us a few days later. • Jeanine (10/5): Comfortable, clean, easy to get to, very responsive manager - This apartment was very comfortable for three people. It is in the Old City of Dubrovnik with lots of tourists. Importantly, it has air conditioning and great windows that keep out the sounds of crowds just below. It is equipped well for making your own meals and the eating area is ample with comfortable chairs. The property manager was very responsive for any questions we had and helpful with directions, leading us to the apartment from the city gate. She was great to work with. Everything in Dubrovnik is built on hills. So if you don't like climbing stairs, you might not prefer this. It was not a problem for us.

Great, prompt communication. The studio is clean n bright. Nice views of the Dubrovnik street life. It was great to have a washer to launder our clothes after a week of travel. The room was quiet at night for sleeping. Blankets supplied were for twin beds. Not great for a couple sleeping together in a double. Soap or shower gel available in the shower is great for travelers.

The owner was very accommodating with checkin/checkout times. Location is great, right in the old town. I was surprised at how big the apartment was and how well-equipped it was. I sure wish I had booked more nights, and next time I will! Nothing, everything was great!

Broken tv & washer, HUGE webs over bed, dirty & sticky furniture & floor. Old beaten up furniture. contacted owner but still did not receive proper bedding, they did clean some webs but we lost a lot of sleep. lots of noise from above apartments as people moved around.

The Host offered a bottle of wine as a welcome reception The guests from other flats were not always quiet and respected night imperiousness, making a lot of noise. we were in a very old building without soundproofing capabilities. Some nights we woke up several times. Bathroom very old and without electricity plug. To dry my hair I had to go into the living room, where there was a plug Washing machine was described as a facility in the flat, but when we arrived it was broken and we were not warned in advance
