• Fritz (9/5): Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in ruhiger Lage. - Eigentlich alles, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Küche ist sehr gemütlich und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend. Für einen längeren Familienaufenthalt und tägliches Kochen fehlt ein vollwertiger Kühlschrank und ein größerer Herd.

• Annika (10/5): Echter Urlaub - Die Ferienwohnung bietet alles Nötige für einen sehr komfortablen Aufenthalt, von dem einzigartigen Flair aus Tradition des mehrere Jahrhundert alten Hauses und Moderne seiner technischen Ausstattung ganz zu schweigen. Zu viert hatte man in allen Wohnbereichen inkl. Küche genügend Platz, die Terrasse lud zum Essen im Freien ein. Mit etwas Organisation fand sich für alles in dem etwas kleinen Kühlschrank Platz, was für Gäste mit häufigeren Restaurantbesuchen ohnehin kein Problem sein sollte. Die Betten ließen keine Wünsche übrig. Binnen 3 min Autofahrt erreicht man das Stadtzentrum Bad Goisern von der sehr naturnahen ruhigen Lage am Berg. Vielen Dank an unseren Vermieter für den herzlichen Empfang. Sehr gerne kommen wir 2026 wieder zu Besuch! -

• Anna (9/5): Superb - Amazing house in an unbelievably beautiful place! The house has a mountain atmosphere in each detail... This is a unique place where every detail in the house is made with love. Every morning you could see wild animals near the house ! We spent an unforgettable week in this fabulous house. Thank you ! For travelers with a family, sometimes simple things like salt in the kitchen or enough soap in the bathroom are very important. These are small things, but without them it was difficult on the first day while the shops were closed.
• Vincent (6/5): Beautiful location well away from town. - Beautiful location, nice kitchen, large bedrooms, very clean. Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, and Bad Aussee were beautiful and easy drive. Host was rushed and did not meet us until after arrival. No AC and no fans. Host suggested we purchase our own which we did and left behind. Hard to find nearby restaurants. No chairs or tables in bedrooms.

The ceiling was very low in the kitchen, bathroom and bed so tall people had to bend down. The entrance was quite complicated, it was opened with an application on our cell phone.

• Brandhofer (8/5): Very good - The house is very clean and warm. The owner was nice and very creative in renovating the 350 year old house. E.g. turning the workbench into the kitchen bench. Very comfortable beds and very nice bathroom and toilets. A lot of old quirky things in the house maybe from his great grandparents, who the house originally belonged to. It has a bit of a museum feeling to it. The kitchen is somewhat unpractical for a family of 4. There is no oven, just a mini electric bread oven. The 2 electric ceramic tops are not very powerfull, makes even just cooking pasta an epic job. The kettle is also an old style stove top kettle. The fridge is tiny, so it would fit in the work bench. No coffee machine( sort of standard nowadays), just another, old style stove top one, and a grinder to grind your own beans. The living room is nice to look at but unpractical to sit in, the sofa is very old and raises up in the middle, one person can lay on it, but 2 can't sit on it.

Eco renovated with updated rustic designed which brings in the traditional Austrian folklore . Bernhard is an amazing host and will give you the tour of the cabin with all the necessary information regarding staying there . Inside is simply amazing with a breathtaking view from the sauna or the front porch .

• Chan (9/5): Brilliant host, magnificient view and warm feeling guesthouse! - The host Bernhard was very kind to walk us through the villa, and answered a lot of questions we had about restaurant and shopping around the town. Walking on the second floor will create some noise due to the wooden structure, please you need to mind your head when getting into the bedroom on the 2nd floor.

The house is 300 years old but beautifully restored with added modern functionalities. 2 saunas were great and very relaxing. All bathrooms fantastic, wifi fast, bedrooms specious, beds comfortable. Shirt ride (or a bit longer walk) to the nearby town with shops and restaurants. Perfect stay for us.

• Expat (10/5): Lovely holiday house in the mountain near Hallstatt - The host uses the app called Nuki which allowed us to unlock the unit without a physical key. The host also met us to explain everything and walk us thru the unit. Its also nice to know a little bit of history regarding the house. You could see how much effort and love went in into renovating the property. Enjoyed the sauna with such a great autumn view! Nothing really - maybe add a couple more trash bins for easier access. We highly recommend this property! Nice views, awesome host and a one-of-a-kind property!

• Amit (10/5): Amazing stay at Bad Goisern! - The Zimmer is amazing! It's very well designed and made of recycled and not chemical materials. The host is very talented, he built everything inside the apartment. The shower is very nice and there is very good hot water. There is even a sauna with amazing view to the forest! Nothing, it was amazing!

The position is very good if you want to go around Salzkammergutt and the various lakes and then come back to a quiet and relaxing place after a day of hiking, cycling and visiting the wonderful places around.
• Nir (9/5): Wonderful! - The property is absolutely amazing, the owner clearly has a great eye for detail, the rooms are gorgeous, everything is in very good condition, there are saunas, an electric warmer in the front porch, a fully equipped kitchen, the view is great with walking paths right out of the yard and a small fresh water spring on in the property. We loved the place and would be happy to return. The first night fog came down and we felt so calm and peaceful, it was magical. The first night there was a problem with some wasps in the main bedroom so we needed to sleep in the living room but the owner took care of it fully first thing in the morning and gave us a partial refund without us even asking for it. so a like and a dislike I guess. Thanks Bernhard!
• Floria (10/5): A great place to stay if you want to experience a typical sort of accommodation of the region. - It‘s an old-turned new-turned old traditional house with loads of little details. it has all modern appliances yet th the old character applicable for the region. a True experience. The view is very beautiful. It has an outside terrace for cozy lunches and dinners if the weather permits. m It’s is spacious and easily fits a family of four. It was clean. The manager was helpful and easily reachable.
