• Tracy (10/5): Great apartment in a really central location to walk to everything. Highly recommend. - Fabulous location. The smoke alarms are VERY sensitive- even cooking some toast set them off.

• Helen (7/5): Generally a very good apartment for a Santa Monica stay. - Excellent location, comfortable and clean. We found it difficult to identify the apartment's lock box among all the other, perhaps a distinguishing mark on the back (for example) would help. Our fob was also missing form the lock box, which was inconvenient especially when the lift was out of action for a few days.
• Ross (5/5): Great location. - Great location a few streets back from the pier. Clean and neat. Bed 1 was not secure and upon further inspection had been repaired hastily. Owner offered to come and fix though. Water leaking from roof in one bathroom but didn’t interfere with showering however needs to be repaired. Ensure you get fob to enter building and as there is no internal buttons in apartment- you have to go down to let in guests.
• Michaela (9/5): Superb - veyr comfortable bed, good location, flat was clean, well equipped, parking place strange storage of keys...the video how to find them would be easier but I received just one picture so I had to call. At the beginning not fast answers to my questions about bakery and coffee and so on...I had to ask again

• Marek (3/5): Very disappointed. Hoped for the pleasant stay but the apartment ruined our vacation. - Location was excellent. 1. In contrary to the pictures of the apartment provided on booking site, where the view from the windows and balcony was always sunny, spacious and bright, we got a view onto dark, back alley with trash cans, smells, homeless, morning garbage trucks waking us up, and trucks with deliveries to the local businesses. Have to add that the view from the balcony was one of our major decision-making factors, and we chose this apartment over the others and paid extra just to have this sunny view. 2. Dirty comforters with blood-like stains and black, long hairs between the sheets 3. Leaking cold water from the ceiling above the bathroom tub 4. Pink mold on the bathroom toilet bowl 5. We were not provided with the universal key/key-fob, so when the elevator broke (twice during our stay) we couldn't get into our apartment at all since the only other way was through the fire-escape stairs and all fire-escape doors required key/key-fob to open them. 6. Missing fire alarm 7. Old and beat-up foam-only mattress. It was impossible to have a good, full night sleep because the foam was extremely deformed with the big, deep dip in the center. Owner's first response to our claims was just rude. Owner refused to accept our claims and refused to receive supporting pictures. Owner also refused to send someone in to verify our claims. Owner eventually stopped picking up our phone calls and stopped responding to the messages. We stayed in apartment #210 at 1450 5th st, CA, 90401
• Scott (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the apartment, very well appointed, modern. Clean. Great location for everything in Santa Monica,. Natalie was great and very accommodating. We needed to move in early she made it happen after our original apartment was unavailable Natalie got us into this alternative very quickly
