- Mensur (10/5): Great place to stay - Everything was great really. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and warm. The host was amazing and helped me book a bus transfer and a boat tour along the Perito Moreno glacier. Although it’s not super close to the city center, the central bus station is very close. It’s not very far from the city center, but it’s also not super close to it. It’s around a 20 minute walk one way.

Dont book a taxi through them though they will charge you a crazy amount just go down to the bus station and get a taxi! It is a bit far away from the city! Do not use their taxi service they charge a crazy amount we paid 35000 argentinan dollars for a 10 minute ride to the airport!
- Florian (8/5): - Eine Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht auf die Stadt und die angrenzende Berglandschaft. Die Wohnung entspricht den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Der Wasserdruck dürfte stärker sein. Über Nacht kühlt die Wohnung gut aus, aber es wird schnell wieder warm. die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig. Vor allem wenn auf der außenliegenden Treppe gelaufen wird. Es gab ein dauerhaftes Tropfen, dessen Ursprung wir nicht ausmachen konnten (Kühlschrank?), was etwas nervig war. Ansonsten gute Kommunikation. Es war sogar möglich ein paar US dollar zu wechseln. Auf Nachfrage durften wir unser Gepäck ein paar Stunden zwischenlagern. Die Kommunikation funktionierte schnell und zuverlässig.

- Natalia (10/5): Апартаменты с потрясающим видом и с кухней - Останавливались в апартаментах №1 на 3 ночи (17.03-20.03.2026). Платили на месте, наличными в песо, по курсу близкому к блю. Шикарный вид из окна - во многом из-за него и выбирали эти апартаменты. Очень уютный вариант для двоих, в целом находиться внутри было комфортно. Заселение прошло очень быстро и удобно - ключи были в специальном шкафчике с кодовым замком. Есть отопление, поэтому в номере тепло. Хороший напор воды, и особенно порадовал душ с гибким шлангом - в Аргентине это редкость. В санузле предусмотрены принадлежности, чтобы убрать воду с пола, что оказалось полезно. Есть своя кухня, готовили сами и сэкономили на ресторанах. Удобное расположение: недалеко от автовокзала, было комфортно добраться из Эль-Чалтен и потом ездить в парк к леднику Перито-Морено. Рядом с автовокзалом также есть продуктовые магазины. Совсем рядом с автовокзалом нам понравился ресторан Mexico Street Food. 👋 Обо мне Меня зовут Наташа, и я цифровой кочевник. Одна из кружек была с трещиной, лучше заменить, чтобы избежать неприятных ситуаций.
- Blanca (7/5): - Si llegas al Calafate en autobús y al día siguiente vas a viajar en avión, la ubicación es muy buena, ya que desde la estación de bus hasta el alojamiento son unos 6 minutos caminando. El propietario nos facilitó un transporte para ir al aeropuerto por 35.000 pesos. El alojamiento es muy grande, era para 4 personas. Muy cómodo para manejar el equipaje. Si quieres caminar por la ciudad, está algo alejado. En un zona sin tiendas ni restaurantes. La calefacción estaba muy alta y no había punto intermedio. Cuando la apagamos pasamos frío en la noche, pero al encenderla de nuevo morías de calor. Encontramos un par de arañas, la zona es campo por lo que tampoco es raro. En cualquier caso, si volviera a parar por Calafate para descansar entre un trayecto en bus y en avión, volvería.

- Tobias (9/5): - Man muss vom Busbahnhof ein wenig den Berg hochwandern, aber kein Problem! Sauber, ruhig und große Wohnung, etwas rustikal. Ich verstehe immernoch nicht, wann man als Ausländer Steuern auf die Ubterkunft zahlen muss. Teilweise musste ich es nicht, hier wurde es verlangt.

Que hay que mantenerla cerrada para que no se vea cuando pasa la gente por el pasillo. Mas alla de eso es muy lindo! Y por ahi un par mas de almohadas no estaria mal tampoco.

The location is far from the main part of town, but that was not a big deal for us. Coordinating the payment was a little bit tricky since we never actually met the staff or didn’t have a central office, but we were able to just leave cash.

- Holger (10/5): - Die Inhaber sprechen Englisch und haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Apartement hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht und die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem ist man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum. Unser Motorrad konnten wir sichtgeschützt auf dem Grundstück parken. Daher: Perfecto!

- Monika (10/5): - Lovely studio with beautiful view!! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was great to have the kettle to make our tea and sit by the window, enjoying the view. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well. The place was very clean and there was everything we needed. We walked to the centre of town, which was about 30 to 40 minutes walk depending on where in town we went to. We felt very safe walking around, even after sunset. The bus stop is super close, which was very convenient for us. The host was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay. He helped us organise our trip to Parito Moreno Glacier and transport to the airport. He also lent us a travel adapter as our ones were different than the plugs in the studio. It was uncomfortable and frightening at times when people were walking right by our windows, some of them staring inside (to get to other studios, they had to walk by our door/windows). The path is right next to the building, no gap at all, so they were walking very close to the windows.

- Camilarw (9/5): Boa opção bem próxima ao terminal de ônibus, com vista! - A acomodação é uma casa com um excelente vista para o Lago Argentino. A cama, chuveiro, tamanho da mesa da cozinha, pia e amenidades atenderam nossas expectativas. O diferencial para nós foi a proximidade com o Terminal de ônibus, que é só descer (literalmente) duas quadras. Isso faz diferença quando já devolvemos o carro no Centro e principalmente quando precisamos pegar ônibus cedo na manhã seguinte, sem precisar depender de terceiros. A casa é tão legal e tem uma vista tão maravilhosa mas achamos que faltou aconchego, e a limpeza e alguns detalhes não estavam alinhados com o potencial da casa.

- T.R.3 (10/5): Homely place to stay with great views and walkable distance to bus terminal - The host had contacted us prior to arrival to give clear instructions on the check-in procedure. The apartment was very homely and comfortable, with great views of the lake. Located about 10 minutes walk from the bus terminal and 2 supermarkets. Host was kind enough to let us store our luggage while we travelled over to El Chalten for a few days. Wifi was stable. Shower water pressure was not very strong.

Erg behulpzame host die ook een taxi naar de airport kan regelen. Wifi was goed. Beetje hard, maar comfortabel bed. Wel luidruchtige koelkasten.

La disponibilità del personale nell’aiutarci per qualsiasi informazione. Forse rivedrei un pochino la pulizia, soprattutto nel bagno. Alcuni insetti che risalivano dalle fogne. Estaba cerquita del centro aprox 10 cuadras caminando que es tan hermoso el paisaje que ni te das cuenta. Los dueños un amor,nos super atendieron. Estamos muy agradecidos,volveremos la próxima 💜⛰️
