• Sonia (10/5): Soggiorno fantastico - L’appartamento era ampio e spazioso. Era molto pulito, inoltre era in una zona molto comoda, vicino al supermercato e proprio nel centro di Santa Monica. Non è stato semplicissimo trovare le chiavi per accedere alla struttura, ma con pazienza poi si trovano.

• MariaPaulina (10/5): Lindo y moderno lugar. - Si, excelente alojamiento, ambientado muy moderno. Limpio, cómodo. Ubicación cómoda, muy cambiable hacia la costanera. Un poco costoso, pero lo reservamos pocos días antes. Donde se retiran las llaves para entrar. Llegamos cuando estaba oscuro y nos costó casi una hora encontrar el lugar, que era en un callejón algo lejos y oscuro.
• Rafik (2/5): Appartement sale. Hébergeur pas à l’écoute. - L’emplacement. Il n y a que ça . Tout d’abord j’ai réservé un appartement qui se trouve à la 4th street Santa Monica noté 9/10 et je me suis retrouvé à la 7th street, appartement noté 8,6/10 sur booking. Quand on découvre ça à minuit après des heures de vol c’est pas top. L’hébergeur nie mais malheureusement c’est la vérité car l’adresse sur mon contrat et le site booking est clairement écrite. Ensuite preparez-vous à avoir un sol sale, j’ai du nettoyer le sol 4 fois car mon bébé avait les mains noires en marchant à 4 pattes. La encore l’hébergeur nie et dit que c’est des professionnels qui font le ménage. D’ailleurs à partir de là l’hébergeur n’a plus jamais répondu à mes messages. Sachant que pour le premier problème nous sommes face à une tromperie juridiquement qui relève du code de la consommation. Attention dans la salle de bain il y avait à côté de la douche des vers de terre qui sortaient au niveau du bac à douche. Honnêtement fuyez et ne faites pas trop confiance aux photos . Pour l’instant j’attend de voir ce que booking va me dire suite à ma seconde réclamation et en fonction je saisirai la juridiction afin de faire valoir mes droits sur ce changement d’appartement sans même m’avertir . Car sur ma première réclamation ils m’ont donné 43€ sur les 2900€ depensé. Pour votre information le code de la consommation vous donne le remboursement total si vous refusez l’appartement. Et si vous y restez quand même vous avez droit à un remboursement substantiel c’est à dire presque la totalité voir la majorité de la somme depensé. Pour ma part je ne lâcherai rien et faites en autant. Il faut que ces pratiques cessent. Je vous mets en photos les vers de terre et la poubelle des toilettes qui était maculée d’éclaboussures de pisse. Et ça ce n’est que des exemples.

• Roberto (7/5): - The position and the price The self check-in was very complex. The guy forgot to send us the picture where to find the locker with the keys and we had big problems. Anyway, even with the photo, I can guarantee it was complex (count at least 30 minutes to complete the process)

• Karen (9/5): Great place to stay in Santa Monica - Location was excellent and handy to transport and activities. We didn’t have a car. Facilities were perfect, place was homely and quiet. Not a biggy but a one pager explaining the building facilities e.g rubbish recycling would have been useful. (we found Shute by exploring).
• Lavinia (10/5): Great experience - Very clean and comfortable place, extremely well located (15-minute stroll to Santa Monica Pier, and 5-10-minutes tot 3rd street shops). Check-in process was as smooth as it gets. Indeed, is a multiple-step process, but the instructions are very detailed and clear. The apartment is well-equipped, the two bathrooms were a plus for our group. We needed a late check-out and the host was nice enough to offer us one extra hour, complimentary. Everything was great for us, the cleaning team arrived a little early (probably not knowing about the extra hour), but that was sorted out nice and quickly.
• Cynthia (1/5): Terrible - Beds are comfortable Be prepared the host is at best rude. Getting the keys was like an Escape Room booking. To get keys you must go across the 2 lane road to the opposite side of building to locate on a construction gate at the very bottom a lock box with tape on it ( really?). In the dark this makes this very difficult with no lighting and scary with homeless people everywhere, not to mention their are lock boxes all over the gate. After calling the host he was rude and told me to follow the directions and pictures. I told him I didn't get any pictures, and there is NO TAPE on any of the several boxes on the gate. All of this after I had to email him to remind him I needed the 12noon instructions that I did not receive at 12noon. After he then sent pics the key was located. Then you cross the road and need to figure out how to enter the apt complex to get the garage key. I had to call back he told me there is a key fob, I didn't even realize it it looked Like a Keychain. He again told me to follow the directions, I said there is NO MENTION of a key fab or how to use it. He said we most people just know. ĴERK. So you need to pay for parking while you navigate into the complex to retrieve the garage opener. UPON entry the ESCAPE ROOM experience continued while trying to get lights on then looking for all the missing smoke dectors, my child then proceeded to put his water in the fridge where he found 4 beers. That's was a really great find for a children !! Still looking for the smoke dectors that were found in a drawer with no batteries. CEILING VENTS ARE FILLED WITH DUST !! YUCK . Then we realized there we no comforters on the beds or blankets. I had to call back again. I should have told him to follow his own directions because it clearly states linens. So now back to the car to follow the even more terrible instructions of locating the garage. Around the building 3 times beforehand locating it. So frustrating!!!
• Betty (10/5): Great getaway! - We came to Santa Monica last minute for my husbands birthday. Booked this home and received a text right after from the hosts. Great communication with the hosts. The apartment we previously booked had some issues in which the hosts were able to contact me right away to accommodate my stay in another one of their properties. On arrival, keys were easy to locate. The apartment was beautiful and clean. Beds super comfortable. The hosts provide all essential needs and an abundance of it. I highly recommend staying at any one of their properties. It was great to come back to their home and be comfortable after a long day of touring and driving! Exceeded all expectations!
• Pro (1/5): Very Bad! - No hot water. Coffee machine had 2 inches of mold in it. Fire alarm in entranceway went on for 48 hours and was still on when we left. Homeless people watching u get keys from lock box and then follow u to front door. Paper thin walls and ceiling, could hear every foot print above your head. Hosts take long time to text back, if at all. Terrible visit!
• Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Arrived at midnight and it was very dark. Whilst note said where keys were, i couldnt find them and was actually a little fearful given the time and the homeless folks all around me. However, I contacts the owners at this time and they were very responsive and sent an image showing me where the keys were. I would ask that the description for the keys be more clear to avoid this. It wouldnt have been so bad if it was daytime maybe.
• Holger (10/5): Exceptional - Nice apartment right next to target and a bunch of resturants. Very close to the beach as well, so you can by foot.
• Tom (1/5): Will never do it again!!!! - nothing It is no wonder this place doesn’t give refunds. It is the WORST place we have EVER stayed! There is a three step entry process. After we arrived, we were required to cross the street to obtain a key among several lock boxes. Then there was a second key to enter the building to go upstairs, then another key to get into the garage to finally enter. You should advertise that this place is not handicap accessible as my husband has Parkinsons and this journey to even get a key was a nightmare— to put it lightly. Then after entering, we can hear the occupants next to our room screaming and fighting. None of the bedroom lights worked, the large mirror leaning against the wall was not secured. There was no hot water, so we had no choice but to take a polar plunge shower after a full day of travel. None of the rugs throughout the rental had rubber mats underneth so we had to roll them up and put away so that we wouldn’t fall. There was no TV in the bedroom, so we had no choice but to sit on the hardest and lowest sofa making it extremely difficult to get up. The bed was hard, the pillows were flat and both in terrible shape. Absolutely zero response from the landlord so stay at your own risk. It was such a terrible experience that we preferred to leave and forfeit our $3,200 rental fee of five nights after just one night. ABSOLUTELY unacceptable
