• Gwynneth (10/5): Peaceful and quiet - It was very peaceful and quiet and central to many areas, restaurants and cafes. The area is very safe. Rosebank Mall is just a 6 minute drive.

• Laing (8/5): Walking distance of Tyrone Avenue and Zoo Lake - The self accommodation apartment is about a 1km walk from Tyrone Avenue which has many restaurants and a grocery store, so OK for travelers like me without a car who enjoy walking. It's in a very nice suburb, and in walking distance of Zoo Lake. It's run by a lovely family and apartment has a kitchen with everything you need. I was traveling with my 82-year-old mom and who was a bit isolated because I didn't rent a car. I managed ok on foot, but less mobile travelers will probably need a car,

Comfortable, modern & clean. - The host was polite, professional and very helpful with the welcoming, introduction and information I required. The property is peaceful, clean, good presentation and very neat. Powdered coffee creamer or a bit of fresh milk in the fridge would have been nice, together with the tea, coffee and sugar that was already provided in the kitchenette. A step-by-step remote instruction-guide would be helpful to get to the activated Netflix or YouTube accounts that are already available.

From location, service and the peace 🥰🥰🥰🥰 - The location is situated in the safe environment and you could also exercise alone at the street for runners, it is very quiet and also not too far from lot of places in Johannesburg. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming, I felt at home 🥰🥰🥰. I didn't like the carpet and the white couch due to some medical reasons.

The TV was great. Parking was quite tight. The couches are unfortunately very uncomfortable. I spent my entire stay on the bed.

Kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The cottage is very spacious and private. Parking was slightly tight but nothing that could not be managed.

The kitchen space was small but still manageable. It was thoughtful for the host to leave cleaning tools and detergents as it makes it easier to clean up after yourself. The water pressure in the shower.
