• Kevin (10/5): Would absolutely re-book this accommodation. - The property is centrally located and very close to many coffee shops, restaurants and shops. It is extremely clean, spacious, and has a lovely balcony. Value for money was 10/10. N/A.

• Stephen (9/5): - Great location, professional and helpful staff. I always enjoy staying here, but I hope the heating will be adequate during my next stay in May. The only problem is lack of fresh coffee facilities - a kettle and instant coffee sachets is not acceptable at this price point. A cafetière would cost R70 in Woolies and would solve this problem. It would be nice if late checkouts are made available to frequent guests the way they are in good hotels.

• Hussein (1/5): Disappointing stay due to a faulty, noisy air conditioning unit which kept me up all night - Convenient location inside Melrose Arch. The AC vent kept on making noises all night at random moments thus waking me up many times in the middle of the night. I complained about it after departing as I was there for a business trip and had back to back meetings so didn't really get an opportunity to address it while there. The response from the host was just offering me a discount for a subsequent stay, rather than a partial refund. I accept that things happen but the host should act commercially and provide a refund when they offer a sub-par service. A couple of other points to note: the property is in an office building so it's a bit strange coming in and out. No safe in the property which is a bit annoying as there is nowhere to store valuables.

• Zenobia (10/5): The place was lovely and exactly what you need for an overnight stay. - Check-in was easy and the location was walking distance from where we needed to be and where all the restaurants etc was. Did not have to drive to get anywhere. The place was most suitable for what we needed.

It is perfectly located and we where able to easily uber to wherever we wanted to go, e it Rosebank or Sandton as it was in the center. The host was so sweet and kind, she was leaving as we were arriving, she was kind enough to go back up and open the key box for us and the elevator. When we got inside the apartment she left a beautiful card for us and some chocolates to wish us a happy anniversary. Loved the place and definitely booking it again soon. PERFECT LOCATION and Convenient. Honestly wouldn't fault it. I think for us it would have been nice to get a bottle of Water. But that is just me trying to look for something that isn't really there.

• Nazeera (8/5): - Close to everything like restaurants etc. Safe area. Room is very modern and full dstv. Bed was a bit hard. No aircon just a small heater. Could be a problem in very hot or very cold weather. The neighbours were insanely loud around 4am or 5am. Woke me up. Was a Saturday night so I guess it was a party vibe for them. There's offices in the complex so I don't know how that would work on week days.

The toilet seat was a little rocky,not so stable. The wifi went off at night luckily we had bought SA simcards prior .

• Frans (9/5): Comfortable apartment - Comfortable, spacious apartment. Bed was nice, kitchen wel-equipped (just missing a pair of scissors, but that seems to be a constant in South African accommodation). Bathroom was clean and had a nice rain shower. Staff were friendly and communicative. Conveniently close to the shops and restaurants in Melrose Arch. Bed and kitchen in one space isn’t ideal, but was fine for one night. Melrose Arch is always a bit noisy and the windows aren’t double-glazed to keep the noise out. Cupboards were a bit hard to open: some of the springs in the push-to-open systems were broken.

One of the standout aspects was the excellent communication with the host. They were prompt and responsive, making sure all my questions were answered quickly and ensuring that the stay went smoothly.
