• Tomas (6/5): Decent place to stay, you get what you pay for. - Property was very quiet in a busy city. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Ms Trang was very nice and friendly, communication was easy. Stairs are long with big bags just to keep in mind. Property is located down side alley which didn’t seem the cleanest.

The location is also close to the action but off the main street, so quiet and out the way. Everything was great but people should be aware that this room is on the 3rd floor, accessible only by stairs.

• Jhane (8/5): My whole stay was comfortable, thanks to them! - Ms. Trang was very helpful and accommodating, along with her staff. All of them were so nice and let me use some of their facilities even after checking out when I needed to store my luggage and change clothes before leaving for the airport. She remained reachable during my red eye flight and instructed me until I was settled in. The room was clean, the toiletries were good. One area for improvement is the wifi. It sometimes disconnects and signal within the area was pretty hard too.

Può risultare un po’ rumorosa a causa di un karaoke sotto le finestre, ma fortunatamente termina entro le 22. È una sistemazione un po’ bizzarra: l’ingresso è all’interno di una lavanderia e sopra si sviluppano le camere. Le stanze sono accettabili, anche se avrebbero bisogno di una piccola rinfrescata. In ogni caso, il prezzo è assolutamente adeguato. Abbiamo dovuto effettuare il pagamento tramite bonifico e non con carta, nonostante su Booking fossero indicati accordi diversi. Non avevamo contanti pronti proprio perché avevamo fatto affidamento sulla possibilità di pagare con carta.

Si bien es una zona ruidosa durante el día, tal cual nos dijo la anfitriona, a las 10pm ya no hay ruidos. Tuvimos un inconveniente con el AA y fue inmediatamente solucionado. El servicio de lavandería en la planta baja, muy económica. La conexión a wifi no era tan buena. En cuanto a servicios no había toalla de mano, repasador, nada para hacer limpieza y nada de cortesía (agua, azúcar, café).

Als je doucht word de wc nat. Ik voelde de vering van het matras. Ik mocht zelf mijn koffer 60 treden omhoog tillen. (geen lift, geen hulp)

• Jessica (3/5): Unprofessional host - Close to anywhere Very disappointing stay. From the moment we arrived, the host was cold and unwelcoming, which immediately set a negative tone. One of my friends got startled by the host’s cat and reacted out of shock — there was no intention to offend, but the host took it personally and responded in a very rude and unprofessional way. I actually work in the hospitality industry myself, and I interact with all kinds of guests every day — some easy, some difficult. No matter what, I still treat them with respect and keep things professional. It was shocking to see such poor behavior from someone hosting others. The location is hidden in a narrow alley and hard to find. There’s no elevator, and our room was on the third floor, which made things even more inconvenient. The room was basic and not worth the price — you can definitely find better value elsewhere.
• Alina (8/5): Good option not far from the city center - Not far from the city center, a lot of cool places around. The apartment looked a bit old, but quite well maintained. There is a small quiet balcony, which we really enjoyed. The check-in went smoothly and the communication was fast and responsive. Overall we were left quite satisfied. The karaoke nearby can be loud in the evenings. We also spotted some fungus, but the air was not heavy at all.

• Bancod (5/5): 3 nights was long eneuph .. - It was a pleasure to meet the boss Mrs Trang, she was helpfull and friendly all the time. Good wifi, Netflix, AC, good size Bathroom. The mattress wasn´t unfortunatly not good and the small way downstairs was not pretty noisy and very busy with lot of people and motorcycle until late . Taxi from and to the airport was a bit over priced ..

The room had all the amenities you would need for your stay including an iron and hairdryer. I would definitely stay here again. Five stars

La prima volta che abbiamo soggiornato qui non c’è stato alcun rumore. L’ultima volta c’è stata gente in strada fino a tardi.
• Katharina (8/5): - Sehr zentrale Lage direkt neben der Beerstreet, jedoch in einer kleinen Gasse und daher ruhig gelegen. Ich hatte ein Zimmer ohne Fenster und daher keine Lärmbelästigung. Das Bett war recht bequem :) Die Dusche machte den Anschein als ob sie bald auseinanderbricht, hat aber noch alles funktioniert.

Miss Trang was very easy to communicate with f2f and by WhatsApp in English. Vey short walk to tourist walking st. 10-15 mins wander to Ben Thanh. No complaints.

• Corpuz (7/5): Overall, you get what you pay for. Even having said all this, we still had a good time staying here - Pros: - Miss Trang was very kind and responsive. She’s easy to contact and fulfills requests as much as she can. She also gives clear instructions for self check-in. - The location is accessible and easy to pin for Grab food or taxi. It’s also quite near to shopping places and restaurants in District 1. - All amenities listed in the app is complete. Cons: - The place is quite outdated. The walls have chalk written on them and the wallpapers are slightly ripping. Even the tiles in the bathroom have areas with some grime and the freezer of the refrigerator is leaking but fortunately, all facilities are working! I sent the leak to Miss Trang and they were able to clean it while we were gone. - The bathroom is a bit awkward to use because the door area is glass yet it has no cover so you can be easily seen inside. - The lock in our door is hard to open sometimes. - They don’t regularly clean your room but I think it’s by request. If you ask, they’ll do it for sure. - One of the extension cords is loose. Though it works, you have to adjust your charger to make sure it stays charging.

• Alejandra (8/5): Great and conveniently located! - We stayed here for 5 nights and it was a nice little room that had all the basic amenities. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bed was big enough for 2 people and the AC kept the room at a nice temperature which was necessary with the heat in Vietnam. The host was readily available for whatever we needed and she even waited for us to arrive at the hotel in order to check us in (Our bus arrived later in the evening). The bathroom was clean and didn't feel cramped as most bathrooms in Southeast Asia feel. The hotel is located 2 streets away from the party scene which was a big plus as it was far away enough for the noise to not reach the room. We stayed on 5th floor of the building with no elevator which meant going up and down the steps several times throughout the day. It might not be the best place for you if you have mobility issues.

• Urs (1/5): Bad - I actually like cats a lot. But when I opened the front door and was immediately hit by a penetrating and pungent smell of cat pee, it was just too much. Even the room was beyond our expectations, which made us want to cancel the booking. The owner insisted on the full cost, so we paid and left. Not for sensitive noses!!!!

• Ashish (10/5): Exceptional stay in District 1 - The host Trang was in constant touch over WhatsApp with us and met me personally at the property to hand the keys and give us a room tour. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The locations is right in the centre of District 1 and a walking distance to most places. There are a lot of options for food and there is an ATM nearby. Nothing !! Perfect value for money. One thing to keep in mind is the property does not lifts. So you have to carry your luggage to your rooms via stairs.

Just around the corner from Walking street... a very very vibrant street that totally change in the evenings with loud music and entertainment. A Great place to do ppl watching!! 2. The owner was very friendly and accommodating..easy communication with good English and convenient whatsapp use. 3. The apartment has everything you need when spending the days out and about and just sleeping. It could to with a bit of a paint and a deep clean but overall acceptable for the average person... hence the good price. Security at the front door was good with a automatic lock and opens with a scan key. We felt very safe and secure. We had a balcony with our apartment, although we didn't use it, but I guess if you are a smoker it could be a plus. Bed comfy and shower pressure are good with ample hot water. Reccomend highly if you are not too fussy with a very luxurious stay. Very quiet in an alleyway with no nightime party noise carrying as usual in the evenings. Nothing

• Isabelle (10/5): Clean and comfortable - The room had everything it said in the listing. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and there was bottled water in the fridge. The property is location close to walking street but you don’t hear any noise from the room at all. Location was perfect with a 7/11 round the corner, local places to eat in the doorstep and everything is in walking distance. Owner was welcoming and friendly. For us it wasn’t a problem but there is no elevator so if you stay on the top floor like we did it’s a few flights of stairs with bags. Also, if you leave luggage once checked out before onward travel, there is no toilet to use before departure so bear that in mind and plan to pop to a cafe or something before your journey.
• Safari (10/5): Perfect district 1 accommodation - Really cute rooms. No windows meant no noise or light so really good sleep which was good and our room had an air purifier so it wasn’t musty. Lovely owner and the 4 friendliest cats ever which made the stay a 100/10

Plus, she has the cutest cats living downstairs—honestly, that made it the best accommodation ever for me! The room had everything we needed and was great value for money. The location was ideal—right in the center yet tucked away in a quiet back alley. We absolutely loved it. And to top it off, there’s a lady just around the corner selling the best Banh Mi in all of Vietnam. Highly recommend! nothing

• Rajinda (10/5): A good value home stay in a studio apartment. - It’s a lovely space, enough privacy and very close to food and night spots. No elevator and the pillows weren’t the most comfortable.

Trang allowed us to leave our luggage early as our flight landed at 9am while we wondered around the city and then came back for check in. She also helped us communicate with a bus company we were taking to our next location and booked a taxi for us to get to the bus station. The property itself is comfortable and in an ideal location, about a 15-20 minute walk to some of the main tourist attractions (like the cafe apartments, Ben Thang Markets) but it’s 100m away from the Ben Vien walking street and has some great food locations nearby. There is also a convenient 7/11 right around the corner. Highly recommend this place. Everything was very clean. Nothing (the mattress is a bit on the harder side but it’s still fine)

• Butterworth (10/5): Had the best stay ever! - We had the most amazing stay at Friday homestay for a week, if we come back to Saigon we will 100% book here again. The host Trang was so lovely which really made our stay. She was so helpful and knowledgeable with everything and absolutely went above and beyond. The location is literally perfect, right near all of the nightlife, but down a quiet alleyway so you don't hear the sounds of the city at night. There's a 7/11 right around the corner and many restaurants nearby to choose from. Trang also organised a pickup from the airport and a laundry service right from the homestay for us. The room was really clean, the bed comfy and the pillows are pretty great. There's a comfortable desk, Wifi could be a little slow but still good for working, if you need to make Zoom calls there are multiple cafes nearby. The balcony was super cute and I really liked the view. Thanks for everything, I want to come back!!
