• Amanda (4/5): Be aware - Disappointing Exeprience - Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. Just a few hours before check-in, I was informed that the apartment I originally booked was no longer available. The host offered a substitute unit, and I agreed in good faith. However, upon arrival, the space felt unprepared: torn curtains, personal laundry hanging on the balcony, visible marks on the walls, an unclean fridge, and a non-working bedside lamp. The toothpaste provided was a communal tube, which felt unhygienic. These details created an impression of neglect, especially for a unit listed for guests. There was no check-in follow-up or care extended—only insistence on immediate payment, despite this not being the place I initially booked. Additionally, signs in the building’s elevator indicated that short-term rentals are not legally permitted in the building. After I checked out and was eligible to leave a review, the host canceled the booking—presumably to prevent this feedback from being posted. I share this not out of malice, but to ensure future guests are aware and protected. I have documentation of everything mentioned.
