- Kendall (9/5): Steps to attraction, shopping and restaurants! - Wonderful location, nice size. Have returned several times. Kitchen nicely equipped. Quiet at night, yet very centrally located. (Many other near by places have street traffic noise). Easy check in, very professional and reliable. Truly wonderful place.
- Shira (1/5): Dirty. Outdated - Nothing Everything v
- Raymond (8/5): It was pleasing. - The location was great. No hot water on arrival and one bed was not comfortable. It would have been nce to have a little information about how things worked.
- Mateusz (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at the apartment in Palazzo Ferrajoli was absolutely exceptional! We spent 10 days in the heart of Rome, right across from the Parliament, which not only gave us an amazing atmosphere but also a great sense of security – with police everywhere, we felt completely safe at all times.
The palace itself is a historical gem, full of charm and elegance. The building is secured, with a lovely doorman who was incredibly kind and even helped us store our luggage before check-in. Our apartment was huge (120 m²) and beautifully decorated in classic Italian style – stunning hand-painted walls, elegant interiors, and plenty of space. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room with a large TV (with several English channels), and comfortable sofas, we had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
The kitchen was very well-equipped – a coffee machine, toaster, microwave, as well as pots and pans, allowing us to cook comfortably. Everything was spotless, and the bedding was fresh and clean.
The location is simply unbeatable – just a 5-minute walk to both the Pantheon and Fontana di Trevi! The Vittorio Emanuele II Monument (Altar of the Fatherland) is also within a short walk. Via del Corso, full of great shopping opportunities, is right outside the building, stretching for nearly two kilometers. The Spanish Steps are around 20–25 minutes away on foot.
In summary – an absolutely fantastic place! We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. I really enjoyed my stay at the apartment—it was clean, well-located, and had all the amenities we needed. However, one small issue was that the washing machine didn’t work. For a 10-day stay with a family of four, it would have been really convenient to have a functioning washing machine. Other than that, everything was great!
- Adina (7/5): Good - The location The apartment is old and shabby. Pictures are edited to appear bright. All equipment are old (eg iron burnt on sole - unusable, the hair dryer is also in a bad condition)
- Davit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sergio (5/5): Excellent location but a bit disappointing. - Location is fantastic! You just can't get a better location in a historic building right across from Piazza Colonna. Only a 5 minute walk to La Fontana de Trevi. 2nd floor bedroom is very hard to get to through a tiny tight spiral staircase. That same bedroom does not have A/C and the tub wasn't draining properly.
Tha main stairs to access the apartment were very steep and not recommended for elderly persons. Oh and watch your head going up!
- Anela (10/5): Awesome! So cute and great location!!! - The location was amazing!! Central Rome, with so many sights in every direction!! The Trevi Fountain right down the road. The decor was so cute and cozy! Beds were comfortable. Felt safe and secure in our place. We were across from some political building and the police set up a barricade that kept us out of our place for a while. Not the homeowner's fault by any means, but just something to be aware of. This happened more than once.
- Eithne (8/5): Location great - The location of this appartment is excellent. Crisp and spotless bed linen. Very close to the main attractions such as Pantheon, Piazza Navona and within walking distance of Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Vatican city was about a 15 min taxi. The appartment facing out into a courtyard so is very quiet and very secure - at night time the gate into the courtyard is locked. The wifi dropped a few times during our 4 night stay. The shower head in the en suite of the top bedroom could not hang properly on the wall hook so had to be held in one hand while showering, the hose was also leaking which meant that the pressure was weak. I think this was mentioned in a previous review so not sure why such a simple problem has not been fixed - just change the hose! Also a tea towel would have been nice.
- Erica (9/5): Superb -
- Sohail (9/5): Marta was super helpful always answere queries within no time she also arranged taxi for us with a very reliable driver - Very convenient location and nice decoration Downstairs bed was not comfortable
- Stephanie (10/5): Central location, cool place. - Beautiful central location, near Trevi fountain, Pantheon, etc. Beautiful place with a quirky and cool layout, plenty of room for six people. Showers with good water pressure. More kitchen utensils would have been nice? A spatula or two would be helpful. That's a small quibble to be sure.
- Lumina (7/5): EXCELLENT Location, OLD apartment, nicely painted, GREAT customer service, needs maintanence. - The best part about this apartment was location. PERFECTLY placed for sight seeing. Easy walk to everything. Good wifi downstairs. Very clean with comfy beds. VERY GOOD customer service. We had a couple issues, but the managers helped us immediately and were very responsive. For example, the tea kettle was broken and they replaced it right away. They ordered a taxi for us to arrive at 3am to take us to the airport, which did not come due to taxi error. However, because the apartment is right next to Via Del Corso it was fairly easy to find another taxi, even in the middle of the night. Another advantage of the location. Manage your expectations. The apartment is old, though it is painted nicely. It is not as nice as the pictures. The place was overall comfortable, but things were not well maintained: Light bulbs were out, a couple lamps didn't work, loose table tops, cabinet frames that fell out when you opened the doors, broken washing machine, and there are some very narrow, steep, and winding stairs that are a bit difficult to manage to the upstairs bedroom, especially since the lamp in the stairs kept flickering. The managment asked for a list of items to be fixed and seemed appreciative to hear of what they can do to improve the apartment. I have dealt with bad management before so it was refreshing to deal with good people. Despite the issues, it was a comfy and cozy nest in the heart of the city for my family and I left feeling overall happy about our stay.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Anastasia (9/5): Amazing apartment in the heart of Rome - The apartment is located in the very heart of Rome - at Piazza Colonna, within walking distance to literary everything, one might want to see. The windows overlook the inner court - it is quiet at night. It is also very safe as there is a gate and a guard. It has an independent entrance and is recently refreshed and is quite cosy. The apartment is spacious and equipped with anything needed for a short stay, including a fridge and a washing machine. There was a problem with WiFi which was fixed during our stay. Still, the walls are pretty thick so the signal didn't travel long out of the room it was in. Same with phone reception. The bed in one of the rooms was very uncomfortable and squeaky - we ended up sharing one of the bedrooms and sleeping on the extendable sofa - way comfier than the bed.
- Shida (5/5): Cute charming place. Good value for what you pay. The host is very nice. - there were no shampoo, soup or dishwasher. The upstairs is very hot as there is no AC. The bathroom downstairs did not have a light.
