• madeline (2/5): Terrible apartment with uncomfortable beds and broken toilet - This has got to be the worse place I’ve ever stayed at through booking.com and the listing is misleading. Firstly the only toilet in the apartment doesn’t flush. The host acknowledged that it was broken but didn’t suggest anything was being done to fix it. Solid matter wouldn’t flush so sharing the one broken toilet with 4 people was gross. The bed in the second bedroom is the flimsiest and most uncomfortable sofa bed (why not have a real bed in the bedroom?) I’ve ever encountered. So much so that the couple we were travelling with lasted one night in it before moving to another hotel (also to lighten the burden on the toilet). The kitchen was messy with clutter through all the drawers. The shower was mouldy and the shower head hardly worked. The beds in the main bedroom are 2 singles pushed together. The furniture in the whole house looks like it is made up of things no one wanted to the living room isn’t really functional. The tv is also basically a computer monitor. The windows aren’t double glazed or sound proof so every morning at 5am you can hear the garbage trucks emptying the rubbish and glass from the neighbouring restaurants. Awful accommodation - avoid at all costs. We paid way too much to stay here.

• Ana (7/5): - Very spacious, nice, clean and comfortable. Good location. A lot of noise at night because there are plenty of bars nearby and windows do not prevent the noise. Difficult to sleep.

• Andreas (8/5): Mittendrin, lebendig, authentisch - Mittendrin im Szeneviertel, toller Altbau. Authentisch, Man fühlt sich nicht wie ein Tourist. Sehr sehr großzügig, toller Parkett und hohe Wände. Alte Möbel, mit Stil. Schöner Blick auf die Gassen und Straßen und Bars. Altbau hat keine Klimaanlage. Das Muss einem bewusst sein im Hochsommer. Zudem ist natürlich viel los abends und nachts. Auch ist so eine Altbau Küche natürlich nicht so komfortabel. Aber dafür einmalig und authentisch.
• Marie Daval (5/5): - L'emplacement est très bien pour visiter la ville, on est en 20 min au Duomo. L'appartement est très grand. Il y a deux chambres de belle taille. L'immeuble est en cours de ravalement. Les travaux commencent à 7h le matin, les ouvriers se retrouvent potentiellement devant vos fenêtres. Une partie des volets de l'appartement ne peut pas être ouvert à cause de l'échafaudage. Cela aurait été agréable de le savoir avant de louer. Le quartier est extrêmement bruyant : les bars dans la rue fonctionnent jusqu'à 2h du matin en terrasse, la balayeuse passe à 3h puis les poubelles à 4h. Un seul ventilateur pour un appartement avec deux chambres, en plein été cela n'est pas confortable. Même hors canicule il fait chaud à Milan l'été. Le lave- vaisselle n'était pas fonctionnel ( il démarre, fait arriver l'eau puis vidange sans avoir lavé). Pas de torchon dans la cuisine.

• Simona (5/5): It was a good budget apartment if you want to stay in the best area of Milan, however, I would suggest the host to do so - The property is a large apartment but little bit old Milanese style apt. Great location though. I think they have to update some pieces of the furniture. The small table in the kitchen is moving all around. It’s impossibile to eat on it. It’s bizzarre they left it in the apartment for the guests. The bed/sofa couch in one of the bedroom is not completely flat so I had to put some pillows to make it flat. In addition, the toilet does not work properly (it does not flash well and the board on it move all around when someone sit on it). Moreover, the apartment was very noisy when I stayed there. There is a bar right downstairs and you hear people talking until late night.

• Hazel (8/5): Massive apartment in great part of MIlan - Huge apartment in great location with numerous bars, cafes and restaurants close by. Lots of space to spread out. Great views out of the numerous windows which we were able to leave open as on third floor (and needed to as over 36 degrees during heat wave. Well equipped little kitchen with several supermarkets close by. In Milan during heatwave and there was no AC. Only one small fan that we had to move between rooms. Had to leave the windows open and there are several bars restaurants below which are very noisy until 1-2am. Bathroom needs some work. WC didn't flush properly and bath/shower needs to be properly tiled as paint coming off the walls.

The host was extremely kind, perfect location surrounding good restaurants and coffee shops, easy access by walking to all the interesting spots, and the apartment was decorated with a good sense of taste which was warm all the time on these cold days.

• Theoharism (8/5): Very good - The apartment is in the heart of the Brera district, which is very nice. The apartment itself has high ceilings and large windows looking at the Milan skyline. The host was very responsive with requests! There was no AC...and it was summer with 40C! It is a real shame there is just a sofa bed in the 2nd bedroom and not a proper bed (it has the best views!). Kitchen not very well equipped (no wine glasses!!!)
