• Steve (8/5): Nice place to stay unless you’re tall! - Well equipped accommodation in a superb location in the Jewish quarter of Venice. Secure bag storage for use ahead of check in. The ceilings and door ways are very low; if you’re above 5ft 11 (I’m 6ft) tall then you will struggle. The garbage disposal is not straightforward and needs planning; ok if you’re there for a few days but if not can be tricky.

• Gonzalo (10/5): - Excelente apartamento, muy cómodo y limpio. Muy bien ubicado, a pocos minutos de piazzale Roma y de Santa Lucía. Fue muy sencillo llegar y poder desplazarnos con comodidad. Francesco, Alex y Dahlia siempre atentos a nuestras consultas. Lo recomiendo y si algún día puedo volver a Venecia, será mi opción principal.

• Philippe (5/5): - C'était propre, malgré un peu de moisi dans la douche On attendait un emplacement avec "cityviews", c'est un entresol très sombre, sans aucune vue. Pas de pression dans le circuit d'eau. Wifi inopérant dans les chambres, thermostat de chauffage défectueux avec chaleur intense, impossibilité de fermer la porte à clé quand on est dans l'appartement !!!

• Pietro (8/5): Tutto ok. - Posizione nel quartiere ebraico; molto riservato e silenzioso rispetto alle classiche vie di passaggio turisti. Alloggio spazioso e confortevole. Ottima la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli nello stabile per poter muoversi facilmente per Venezia in attesa del check-in. Arredamento in linea con la modernità. Host disponibile. Il condizionatore unico è posizionato in zona cucina, quindi le camere risultano un po' fuori dalla portata del flusso refrigerante. Ci sono comunque a disposizione dei ventilatori potenti a supporto. Non prende bene il telefono ne come dati ne come linea; per i dati c'è comunque il wifi incluso nell'alloggio, per la linea pazienza.

• Kerry (9/5): We really had a wonderful stay in this charming apartment, located in an amazing area. - We loved the location, right in the heart of the old Jewish Ghetto. It was away from the main busy tourist area so we got a feel for the more "real" Venice. It was so convenient, 2 minutes walk from the public boat transport from the airport.

• Jorge (8/5): Boa localização e boa relação qualidade-preço - Excelente localização, no centro da cidade (Ghetto Nuovo). O apartamento é espaçoso, confontável, limpo e tem o necessário para uma família de 4 pessoas. Não é a melhor opção para pessoas muito altas. Os tectos do apartamento são baixos. Alguém com mais de 1,90, como era o nosso caso, tem de andar curvado em boa parte da casa.

• Veronika (10/5): Ubytování je super, skvělé. Nemám nic, co bych vytkla. - Líbilo se mi úplně vše. Apartmán je prostorný, čistý je na skvělém místě. V těsné blízkosti jsou pekárny, restaurace, do víru Benátek je to blízko. Pokud pojedeme znovu do Benátek už bych nehledala jiné ubytování a jela zase na to samé místo. S paní majitelkou je výborná domluva a s paní Barbarou, která paní majitelce pomáhá také. Paní Barbara mi navíc poslala na WhatsApp tipy na dobré a cenově výhodné restaurace plus další zajímavosti o Benátkách a co v Benátkách podniknout. Není nic co by se mi nelíbilo.

• Sandra (9/5): - Great quiet location, restaurants and bars near by, easy to find and near the train station. Very spacious for Venice and the teenage kids found the sofa bed comfortable. Nothing not to like, we even had an incident with the electric but the owner came straight back to us

• tania919 (10/5): Venecia en familia - Nos encantó absolutamente todo, barrio super tranquilo y desde el cual puede ir caminando a todos los sitios para visitar la ciudad. Muy cerca también de la estación de tren, y con paradas para el vaporeto o el translado al aeropuerto a 2 min de casa. Casa con todas las comodidades y un montón de vajilla y menaje. Por decir algo, que los techos eran un poquito bajos para gente alta.

• JiYoon Lizzie (6/5): Pleasant but beware of the low ceilings. - The host met us upon our arrival, walked us through the unit, and provided a brief explanation. The unit comes equipped with all your kitchen needs and even has a washing machine available. The unit is clean and is conveniently located. They have a crib available upon request, complete with all the necessary bedding and pillows. The outdoor shutters provide great blackout for afternoon naps if you have a young one. Though the unit provided what we needed, the ceilings are so unbelievably low. My husband is a bit taller than 6ft, and if he wasn't mindful, he would hit his head on almost every doorframe (which he did a few times). The shower is very tiny, and the ceilings slant down towards it, making it feel a little claustrophobic. The air in the bedroom doesn't circulate very well unless you have a window open, and the bathroom's air doesn't circulate at all.
• Di (10/5): Fabulous apartment highly recommended x - The property was fabulous and spotless clean , we were met by Dania (hope that is spelt correctly ) she could not have been better or more helpful The only thing was the directions we arrived at piz Roma bus station , and took the 25 min walk with large suitcases (not at all easy) when we could have been told if we got a Vaporeto (water bus) either 4.1 or 5.1 it will bring you with a couple of hundred yards of the apartment x

Only minor thing we didn't like was the comfiness of the pillows. They were a bit flat. The wifi was great in the kitchen and lounge, but patchy in the bedroom.

• Lefteris (8/5): Very good - The apartment is in a great location—away from the hustle and bustle of tourist crowds, yet still very close to shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and water public transport stops. It was also very clean. The owner was eager to help and offered free and secure luggage storage for as long as we needed. I’m 1.96m tall, and the apartment has a very low ceiling. I had to duck every time I walked around and even hit my head three times on the ceiling beams, which made my stay rather uncomfortable. Not recommended for tall people like myself.
• Monica (10/5): So much character - Very cosy apartment in a rustic old building with a lot of character. Only stair access, but only up 1 flight of stairs. Convenient storage before check in and the host gave very clear instructions to get to the apartment. Extremely walkable from the train station, only 1 small bridge to cross. Apartment had great facilitates, air-conditioning, washing machine and kitchen. The ceilings are quite low, which was okay because we aren't very tall. Spacious for kids. Amazing coffee/food just downstairs and restaurants a short walk away.

Highly recommended - The location is superb right in the middle of Cannaregio and the Ghetto, old quirky accommodation that had everything we needed, its a great location to explore from, the apartment literally had so much to offer big spacious and was equipped with much more than you'd ever need, the host who met us was super helpful, loved it!

• Aikaterini (10/5): A traditional, cosy stay with an incredible host 10/10 - We loved absolutely everything about this accommodation. The apartment is in a lively location, close enough to the main attractions so that you can easily walk the distance even with young children, as we did, but also far enough to have peace and quiet from the maddening buzz. The neighbourhood itself is filled with bakeries, restaurants, snack places, and bars by the canal, all in 2 mins distance, but the flat is tucked away nice and cosy for a good night's sleep. The property itself is immaculate; traditional but has all the comforts you need as a couple or family. Francesco is a brilliant host. He will tell you everything you need to know to go about an easy holiday, and his family's restaurant serves incredible food, definitely the best seafood pasta and lasagne we've had in 10 days and across 3 cities in Italy. Venice is a lifetime experience, but Ca' Francesco made it even harder for us to say goodbye just because of how lovely this accommodation was. Nothing to say. Everything was 10 out of 10.

• Catherine (5/5): Disappointing and not a good welcome - Location was ok - traditional around the old ghetto so interesting. House was easy to find. We arrived about an hour early and had no idea we had to be at the house at EXACTLY 14:00 and thought this was simply FROM 14:00. We messaged the host and asked if we could leave our luggage as the temperature was around 35 degrees. She became very annoyed and eventually sent a code to leave the luggage in a lock up. We couldn't stand in the hot sun for an hour as my daughter is diabetic so we went to a cafe and messaged host to ask if we could meet her at 14:30. She said "I cannot be in two places at once" and said no. Eventually she said we could meet at 15:00. Not a very warm welcome to Venice. She said "Check in is 14:00. I think you forgot." This spoiled our stay as we had travelled to Ferrara and Padova and our hosts were very kind. Not here. The apartment is ok although not as attractive as the photos - the shower door sticks, there is only one air con unit (in the kitchen) - everything else is fans and the house is very very hot in the heat of summer. There's a washing machine but no dryer and so nowhere to dry clothes during a stay. In the bedroom, there are no black out curtains and the light comes in very easily, also no mosquito nets which would help - from living room, there's a lot of noise at night from a bar in the street below. On our last night the power cut off for 20 minutes but went back on again - we sat in the darkness. The apartment is acceptable but you won't find any genuine Italian hospitality - more geared to a quick turnaround of tourists.

Greeted in person with tour of apartment and suggestions/directions to nearby places.  A bit of walk from train station but no problem for us.. Quiet area. Everything perfect.
