• Eveline (10/5): Venezianisches Lebensgefühl mitten in der Stadt - Die Lage ist perfekt, zentral aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Stellen sie sich auf ein tägliches workout ein, die Treppe zur Residenza sind hoch und es sind viele 😅, aber es lohnt sich! Wunderschöne venezianische Wohnung, gut ausgestattet und hell. Für uns war es der perfekte Ort in Venedig, ideal für zwei Paare.

• ANASTASIOS (9/5): Εξαιρετικη!!!! - Τα παντα πλην λεπτομερειών. Αριστη τοποθεσια, υπεροχο βενετσιανικο καταλυμα πληρως εξοπλισμενο! Πρεπει να γινουν μικρες συντηρησεις: Χαλασμενο καζανακι, σπιραλ ντους σκουριασμενο, λαδωματα σε πορτες. Ελαχιστα πραγματα ως κοστος κ εργασια, αλλα για τον επισκεπτη ειναι αδικο να υπαρχουν τετοια προβληματακια οταν ολα τα αλλα ειναι αριστα !!
• Darren (9/5): City break - Very spacious. Excellent location. Suited our group dynamic of 2 couples. The communication was excellent and the lady who met us was nice. Would have liked a toaster. The showers (water pressure) weren't the best. The stairs up to the entrance to the property were steep and in need of some tlc.

It was the perfect stay - The location was amazing, close to the water taxis and San Marco. The inside of the property was beautiful, really felt like I was in Venice but modern too (the art around each room were unique and beautiful). This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as stairs are everywhere in Venice but it is on the third floor. However the views up there are worth it

• Wise (9/5): A wonderful place to stay with a gracious host that will enhance your stay in Venice. Will definitely stay there again - Clean, Spacious, Conveniently located to major sights, off the canals, great view with balcony, homelike environment, lots of information given about the area, generous host (met us before check in, ordered water taxi for our group, showed us VAT tax refund shop and sent sites for places to eat). The apartment is on a 3rd floor walk up with no elevator. Don’t let that discourage you though. it’s well worth the climb. One of the showers had a slow drain.

La dificultad para encontrar un lugar cercano donde dejar el equipaje el día de salida. Venecia no es para irte atravesando calles arrastrando maletas. Estaría bien que tuvieran un acuerdo con alguien cercano para solventar este tema.
• MELCHIORRE (7/5): Bel appartamento affrescato - Ottimo appartamento centrale di grandi dimensioni addirittura affrescato con 2 bagni che non guasta soggiorno comunque bello. Non mi e piaciuto che si trovi al terzo piano senza ascensore ma a Venezia si sta sempre in giro

Viele Restaurants rundherum. Marodes Treppenhaus, Putz bröckelt herunter, steile Treppe, Geländer zum Teil locker. Für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität nicht geeignet!

Kann ich sicher weiterempfehlen. —-

• Anne (3/5): Would not recommend this accommodation - The location was good. The photos were misleading. The view was not as expected. The stairway absolutely disgusting. It was unsafe and needed immediate maintenance. There were no or inadequate bathroom toiletries, no tea, coffee or milk and the apartment was not as comfortable or special as we expected from the photos and the price.

It had a lot of charm. Was quiet. And we liked being close to the vaporetto. It is on the third floor. No elevator. It needs a few repairs. Kitchen faucet. Bathroom cabinets that didn’t close. More and better pillows for the beds. Small things. But also inexpensive things. One bedroom is significantly nicer than the other in terms of aesthetics. This could be remedied pretty easily with a chandelier etc.

BUT - Fantastic location and equipped with modern appliances Apartment was very well equipped but - No toaster - Windows (living room) leak water (rain) onto smooth granite floor - slip hazard - 2 Tissue boxes within apartment - but: both were completely empty on our arrival. - TV Remote - batteries dead and so old - both batteries seriously corroded - Nespresso machine - 1 pod only - Previous occupier's personal belongings blatantly obvious (spectacles, vape device left sitting top drawer in living room - It seemed quite obvious that the room cleaning / preparation was not done properly. The 51 steps up to the 2nd (3rd???) floor were VERY hard work give the very hot conditions at the time

The apartment was very clean and had lots of space, including a full kitchen. Balconies were wonderful to view the boats along the canal. Be prepared to climb stairs with your luggage in tow. Would definitely recommend! Everything was wonderful ❤️
• Tracey (9/5): Perfect for us. - Good communication on which waterbus to get from the airport and where to meet the host to take us to the apartment. The apartment location is excellent, near to all the sights , the waterbus and restaurants. The apartment is Very clean and comfortable and had 2 bathrooms which we wanted and Had everything we needed for our short stay. Yes there are stairs up to the apartment but they were not a problem for us. As someone previously said, make sure you’ve got all your supplies before you go up! Everything met all our needs for our length of stay.

• Kathy (9/5): Venice is amazing and Residenza Dei Dogi a wonderful place to stay - close to everything with just a little bit of a loc - Great location - not far from St Marco but in a less touristy little enclave, great restaurants (in a range of prices) just downstairs, with little boutique shops. The apartment was clean, light and airy. The 17th century frescos were beautiful and the roof top views were lovely too. A well equipped kitchen and lots of space to spread out. The stairs are not ideal for the initial luggage run but we soon became used to them! Our daily fitness test!

• Kara (7/5): Traditional Venetian apartment - The location was great, not too far from the water taxis, Doge Palace, St. Marks Square. It was exciting to have balconies that over look a canal, this lent to some noise while sleeping- but I always travel with a sleep noise machine for those occasions. The kitchen had coffee, instant and espresso which was nice. The bathrooms are updated and spacious. The washer/dryer had an instruction book. The couch may need a refresh or a new cover, but it was large and comfortable. Pay attention that there are a few staircases involved. Also, be prepared to pay 12 euros cash per person upon arrival.

• Amir (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is literally located in the heart of Venice, just a few steps away from St. Mark's Square. It was spacious enough for 5 people, with 2 bathrooms that provided plenty of convenience. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to buy fresh fish from the Rialto Market and cook a wonderful meal on Christmas Eve. Overall, we were very happy with this accommodation and would highly recommend it! Since the apartment is on the second floor without an elevator, it could be challenging for some people, especially if you have heavy luggage. Additionally, it seems that previous guests were feeding the seagulls, so they would come by daily, seeking food and making noise to get our attention. Unfortunately, they also left a mess. I strongly recommend that future guests avoid feeding the birds to prevent this issue.

Big modern bathrooms & kitchen with all facilities. Walking distance to all main attractions and surrounded by restaurants & shopping. Perfect location. Thank you Agata for meeting us at San Zaccaria to walk us here (only a few minutes) and for all of your recommendations. Loved Pizzaria 1000 Gourmet! So grateful for the teams immediate responses to any contact or questions. Would only mention it's 3.5 flights of stairs up. Worth it to be surrounded by canal views and balcony ! Would highly recommend!!!
• Wct (5/5): Passable - Location was great. It is in the middle of everything. Great restaurant next door. Not enough Air conditioning. The family room was so hot, we were unable to use the room. Air conditioning in the dining room was weak and unable to cool off. Bathroom drain was clogged, but was fixed in 2 days.

Handily situated 5 minutes walk to St. Marks and 5 minutes walk to the waterbus station Zaccaria. A perfect slice of Venice with all the modern conveniences. The apartment exceeded our expectations and there were no real issues to fault.

• David (10/5): Magical Stay in a beautiful and very central apartment - Perfect canal view from Juliet balcony. Location just down the block from the Danieli and access to several vaporetto buses. Very easy to get the #2 vapo from the Tronchetto parking lot. Very central and you can walk to just about anywhere between 15-25 minutes or just walk 4 minutes around the corner and up the block and grab a vapo! The apartment was absolutely lovely, the beds were super comfortable and the double glazed windows kept the noise out. Pick up some snack and water before heading up. Very spacious yet cozy apartment and we wish we could have stayed longer. We truly loved everything! But Three flights of stairs are not easy however, once you’re in the apartment it’s definitely worthwhile for the view and the quiet! - 11am instead of 10am checkout would be ideal - conditioner and shampoo and maybe at least a bottle of water because the tap although potable has too strong chlorine.

Spacious, beautiful, fantastic location. Great air conditioning. Everything as advertised. Location astonishing and perfect. knowing there were more than 50 steps up to the door once inside. I know elevators are rare, but it was a real bothersome challenge. But once in the unit, we were very happy at all times.

• Davis (10/5): Our 3 days in Venice were wonderful and this property was part of the amazing time we had. It’s over 200 years old and y - The property is gorgeous and very comfortable. It has everything you need. The owner met us at the boat drop off and walked us around to show us his favorite places. We really appreciated the personal touch. There is cold ac, a full kitchen, washing machine and a spectacular view. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place for you. We we’re fine with it but is up on the 3rd floor(hence the beautiful view) but could be tricky if you have trouble with a lot of stairs.

There are a lot of stairs with no lift which is understandable as an d building of character. So if you have lots of luggage or are not for bear this in mind otherwise go for it.

I would come back. - so much character! large apartment with all facilities in Castello, which is very busy, but when windows were closed it is quiet. you need to climb three flights of stairs which for us was ok but might not suit everyone.

• Mads (10/5): A wonderful spacious apartment with a great host right in the heart of Venice - This apartment is amazing, spacious, has all of the facilities you need including a washing machine (that doubles as a dryer) and in the perfect location right in the heart of Venice. It has been renovated with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, but original floors and lounge room which is quite lovely seeing the original 16th century condition including the original hand painted walls in the lounge room. The apartment was so spacious we were surprised as generally places are quite small in Venice. It was like a little house! The host is friendly and so helpful, and we had the best time. The apartment is in the perfect location, right near restaurants, shops, grocery store, tourist attractions and a main water bus stop. This meant everything was easy for us to access by walking. Other bonus items were that the area didn't smell and the apartment had a cute view of the canals with lovely fresh air/breeze if you opened the door to the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. All of the facilities and WIFI worked well. It was a great place to chill in and come home to after a long day of walking. There is no elevator. The stairs to the apartment are steep and quite difficult with heavy luggage or injuries. We also found the beds a bit too soft but we understand that is personal preference.
