Guest Reviews
- Emmanuel (7/5): Good - Location was great. Nice area. Close to public transportation and many great restaurants and shops. The bathroom was super tiny and smelled AWFUL like đź’© all the time. The walls appeared dirty with drips all over the apartment. The main entrance door is hard to unlock. Check in was also difficult as they wanted a specific time from us but we were road tripping to Rome and weren't on a set schedule. They got upset with us about it. This wasn't an issue for us at any of the other 4 places we previously stayed at.
- Adelheid (9/5): Superb - The apartment is tucked away in a lovely corner of Trastevere. There are plenty of great places to eat and most of the main sights are about a half hour walk across the river. There were three of us - the bed was comfortable enough, the pull out sofa was quite stiff. The bathroom is cute and clean.
- Maria (10/5): We will definitely stay there again. - Beautiful building. Close to everything. Bed comfortable. Owner/manager helpful.
We loved it.
- Casarini (7/5): Good - Great location and cute apartment Unfortunately, the fireplace is only decorative, it was not written in the ad and the fireplace was one of the reasons I chose the apartment
- Jörg (8/5): Very good location, nice and friendly hosts - Very good located in Travestere. Weronika helped a lot before the journey, this was a good communication. Raoni gave us a warm welcome, the keys and some tipps.
All worked perfect
- Ben (9/5): Superb - Location: Great location within 10 minutes (walking), of numerous eateries and 30 minutes of most sites.
Cosy: Warm and comfortable with a washer drier (huge bonus for us at that point in our trip).
Host: When colllecting the keys (we were running a little late) our host was understanding, and helpful providing some great recommendation on places to eat. Noise: It's in a busy location expect significant noise on busy nights and some morning. We did our research and knew to expect this, with earplugs for one of our nights it was fine.
- Jo (10/5): Location! - The location was perfect! Comfortable bed, great WiFi, great kitchen and washing facilities. Guilherme gave us some great Restaurant tips and advice. Would book again. The street noise could get a little loud into the early morning , but if you want to be in the middle of it that is to be expected. Wouldn’t deter me to book again.
- Evers (8/5): Very good - Location. Pull out bed was very uncomfortable.
- Katherine's (7/5): Love the location! - The location is perfect. This is the only reason for the high rating. The sofa bed was tiny and really uncomfortable. It felt like it might break if I tried to turn over.
There was no laundry detergent.
The bathroom was really tiny. You can literally sit on the toilet and wash your hands in the sink and your feet in the shower all at once! There was only one teeny tiny bar of soap for both shower and toilet. There is no soap tray in the shower but it is too small to bend over in. The lights were very dim in the bathroom. The host left us only 2 small rolls of toilet paper even though we stayed four nights. When I asked him for more he said that's all they will give you! We spent an entire afternoon shopping for toilet paper and soap. It was ridiculous.
On our last full day the AC would not turn off! We tried and tried but nothing worked.
- Ben (10/5): The property was within walking distance from all of the main attractions and across the road from the oldest standing b - Located and authentic feel.
- Vassilis (9/5): Highly recommended for anyone looking to spend time in Rome - My family and I recently stayed in this charming apartment in Trastevere and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, nestled in a lively yet quiet neighborhood with easy access to wonderful restaurants, cafes, and shops. We particularly loved the local atmosphere and the convenience of being close to major attractions while enjoying a more authentic Roman experience. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Rome! The bathroom could have been a bit bigger but it won’t spoil your stay.
- Maria (7/5): Good -
- Maria-doralina (8/5): Very good - The location is very close to the center and the most frequently visited sights. The cleanliness is minimal, broken windows, ants everywhere.
- Rodica (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect
- Anna (8/5): Best place to start enjoying Rome - The location was amazing.
Also, great welcome by Gui. Could use more hooks to hang towels etc. Little of storage space. Otherwise is was fine.
- Tom (6/5): Independència - Normal Le faltaba modernizar en general
- Piotr (6/5): Despite shortcomings with facilities in the apartment, we still had a good time (hey it's Rome) - Really good location, reasonably priced, nice interior. The sofa bed in the kitchen is in a bad condition and not comfy. The fridge does not work properly - it was warmer inside the fridge than storing the food on the floor. So don't count on home-made breakfasts, especially when it's hot in the summer, as you can't really store food. Noise during the night from the nearby restaurants or from other sources.
- Isabelle (10/5): Lovely and welcoming. - This flat is an a beautiful location in our favourite area of Rome, Trastevere, we were greeted at the flat promptly and received an excellent welcome tour of the flat. The staff were very prompt at replying and let us leave our bags in the office on our final day as we had a late flight! Coffee pods and shower gels supplied which was a lovely touch as well as lots of helpful information about the surrounded area! The flat is spacious and beautiful - no complaints! The bed is exceptionally comfy. Nothing! The street was a little loud at night but that is no fault of the property and comes with the territory of staying in lovely Trastevere :)
- Ă–zden (7/5): Good -
- Andrea (8/5): Perfect location. Quite comfortable and cozy appartment - Very well located.
We loved Trastevere area.
The appartment is nearby taxi stop and very close to a bar called Giochino Belli ( good and cheap coffee).
Besides, the most famous and well rated restaurants in the area are really close to the appartment.
You can perfectly go by walk to any part of the city. Doesn’t have an elevator
- Tonia (9/5): Superb -
- Monte (10/5): Wild and wonderful - Lovely apartment with everything you need to get started in town. Reading lamps by bed were not good for reading
- Kreistie (10/5): Cute little apartment in walking distance to every major attraction - Location was excellent. Close to everything Nothing
- Allison (7/5): Convenient and private - It is a fantastic location, we loved walking around the local streets! The apartment was cute and had a good layout. Having a washing machine and a bit of space to hang clothes was handy. A few small things were a little worse for wear or broken (e.g., the ironing board, a shelf in the fridge). It could have been a little tidier & the inclusion of some kitchen basics (oil, salt & pepper) would have been appreciated.
- Anthony (10/5): TRASTEVERE ALEXANDER Great Location - The location is wonderful. Apartment was clean and we had all the amenities that we needed. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable. But not so bad that we couldn't rest, just very soft so we rolled into the middle. Probably good for one person, but not so great for two.
- Marisa (8/5): Very good -
- Lynne (9/5): Brilliant location , everything you need - The locations was awesome! Trying to work out how to get in w the keys!! But really apart from that, all
Was good
- Geschke (8/5): Very good - Excellent location in Trastevere, a little bit removed from the main area, close to the river, rustic charm, basic kitchen facilities to make a meal. Bathroom pretty tight, shower head needs replacing, air-con didn't work that well
- Dana (7/5): Good - location & decor bathroom was tiny & had a smell
- Martin (7/5): good choice. great location - great location although very noisy till 3 then bin men from 4/5 onwards. bring ear plugs noise. needs a little freshen up with a proper clean in places
- Scheila (8/5): Apart from the noise on the street it’s a great place. - The whole process was very smooth. We were met outside, a car was arranged to pick us up and everything in the property was explained. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need, it’s a great place and in a great location. A garbage truck picks up the trash around 5am and it makes a lot of noise, additional to that there was a construction near since very early and it made it very difficult for us to sleep.
- Gociridze (10/5): Amazing !!! I loved every minute spent there ! Highly recommended ! - I liked everything literally ! Trastevere is the heart of Rome and this apartment is the best spot to live in the whole neighborhood ! Apartment is even more beautiful then in photos, it was clean, amazing bed, spacious wardrobe, great shower and very good wi-fi which is really rare! I used washing machine too and it was so easy and comfortable!
It can be just a little noisy if you leave windows open but only on weekends!!!! , but I even loved that too! You are in Roma and chose to live in Trastevere - be ready to inhale the city with it's pro's and con's! Neighbors are peaceful what's most important! It's so close to everything that has to be visited as tourist, also all the tasty authentic food is offered nearby, it's right next to the bus and taxi station, located behind the main street, so close to stores as well and there's an amazing cafe/bar downstairs on the other side opening at 06:00am which is also something miraculous for Roma (They serve really nice breakfast and take-away). I highly recommend this apartment, I will definitely go back soon !
- Inga (6/5): pleasant apartment in a perfect location - perfect location there are things that are missing like water boiler, hair dryer, iron etc.
