Guest Reviews
- Joshua (2/5): Not the place for you….. unless you want to hate Venice - Location is good. Just minutes from Rialto Bridge The property is not as advertised. The A/C and Heating don’t work properly. The water heater has frequent error messages and loses hot water easily. When you check in, they show you how to fix electrical and water outages and make it clear that it’s on you to repair. There is only one pillow per guest. Apartment is hot. The floor is uneven/broken in places so you should not walk in the dark or you will trip. The kitchen sink is splitting away from its counter. They will tell you all the ways they will fine you after your stay if you do not follow their rules. We checked out a day early due to how horrible the conditions were and were told by the property effectively “buyer beware”. So we spent a few hundred on a night we didn’t use. The property and the way we were treated gave Venice a black eye in our view.
- Luciana (10/5): Great place and apartment - Such a great apartment and very nice location and team!
- Jonathan (8/5): Lovely stay! - Very handy location near the Rialto Steps, and the vibrant San Polo area. Apartment lovely light and airy, with lots of space for our family of 4 adults. Terrace would have been amazing if it hadn't been raining! Was a little difficult to find in the dark, on an unlit side street. I thought the host was meeting us at the water taxi stop which would have been great. More/better pillows needed on the beds.
- Jonathan (8/5): Great location and large apartment, but lots of stairs. - The location is perfect - right near Rialto Mercato and Rialto Bridge. Lots of good nearby restaurants and stores. The apartment is huge, and it has a very nice terrace. When we arrived, we had to stand outside (dark and cold) for 30 minutes waiting for someone to bring us the keys. Our contact apparently didn't see our airport arrival email for almost 45 minutes. There are 55 steps up the stairs to the apartment (no lift). The hot water lasts about 3 minutes in the shower, so you have to be quick. The supplies were minimal (e.g., inadequate coffee for our three mornings, one small bar of soap, etc.).
- Nägele (8/5): Very good - Roof terrace, great room layout, equipment (everything needed was available) pull-out sofa in living room very uncomfortable to sleep-on,
getting luggage up to 3rd floor w/o assistance
- Ashleigh (9/5): Great property, amazing location - The property itself is great; clean, air conditioned and well laid out with the added bonus of a terrace space. But the location is truly unmatched - right in the heart of Venice, giving easy access to popular/tourist spots but also easy access to local restaurants, etc. The address listed is incorrect which we didn't expect/weren't clearly warned about, and subsequently found it difficult to understand the directions provided by the person who met us with the keys. No complaints about the property itself except that the beds were pretty uncomfortable which left us stiff/sore during our trip.
- Jeremy (8/5): Great holiday but marred by my son stepping on broken glass on the living room floor and hurting his foot. The floor had - Location, spacious and roof terrace Steep steps
- Violetta (7/5): Good -
- Krisztina (6/5): Nice location, problems with water and electricity, comfortable for max 5 people. - The person with the keys was hard to reach, no answer on sms, small english knowledge when we called him, and we found each other in 1 hour. Problems with water supply, we faced hours without water in the apartment. Problems with electricity too, we had to walk down to the electricity cabinet frequently to switch back the power supply.
- Shawn (10/5): Great central place to stay in the middle of Venice. - It was a great place to stay. It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was nice and we used it without difficulty. It was in a nice area and literally 1 min away from the Rialto bridge. It was also close to the vaporetto stations so we could use it to travel back and forth to different sites and islands in Rome. Nothing
- Maryla (5/5): Passable - Localization was perfect, very close to Rialto Bridge and walking distance to all main attractions. The appartment was spacious and quiet. The appartment requires renovation, eg. paiting, exchange of some furniture. Cleaness (incl dishes) was below our expectiation and vs the price we paid. Wi-fi was not working. Wooden floor is only in half of the appartment, in two bedrooms the floor is out of terazzo.
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jon (8/5): Great. Lovely property in a great location. With small improvements would have loved it even more. - Wonderful location. Very close to Rialto market and restaurants etc., in a quiet and pleasant square.
Lots of space and a nice sunny terrace. The flat contained all that we needed.
Not hard to find once you found your bearings.
We had a lovely time and despite the detailed points below we would come back again. Would have preferred to be met at the boat stop, which was not far away. Would have saved us searching for the property with heavy bags. Renters may need to bear in mind that there are (I counted!) 55 steepish steps up to the flat. A bit of a challenge for old folks like me with heavy cases.
A bit more attention from the owner would have improved our scores. Bedding was good and clean, but cleaning of the property needs to be a bit better for this price. We had to do some ourselves on arrival.
Some aspects of the fittings could be better. We had to take the kitchen kickboard off as it kept falling on our feet, mocha pot provided but not working, or replaced when reported, some chipped plates etc. Wifi not really good enough. Although we stayed in the flat one day while it was "fixed", it didn't really improve. Could impact on TV use. The lovely and large terrace has no shelter from the sun - fine when we were there in late September, but I can imagine would be difficult in the summer. These are all relatively small things of course, but they add do up.
A bottle of wine or some such to greet us would have been nice too at a premium property like this, and it would have been nice to get more arrival information beforehand, though when I asked I did get what I needed.
None of these negatives would put us off coming back. Attending to these would have improved our experience however.
- Sheila (9/5): Terrazza Rialto was a great location with a private terrace to enjoy - Loved the location, apartment was beautiful and enjoyed the terrace. The beds were a bit too hard. It would be nice to have a featherbed or foam option to put on top for guests that prefer a softer bed. The water pressure in the shower was not the best (it was the top floor so it’s normal). If there was a way to increase the pressure that would be good. Also maybe provide specific coordinates for the address. The address booking.com provided when saving to your calendar was wrong.
- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenna (10/5): Perfect stay in Venezia! - This property surpassed our expectations. Very spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms, cute decor, full kitchen/pantry with large living area, and a massive terrace overlooking the Venezia rooftops. Steps from Rialto Bridge, yet extremely quiet. The representative that welcomed us was amazing - friendly and charismatic with helpful recommendations and tips for our stay. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. Air conditioning in every room which was wonderful after a hot day exploring Venezia, as well as laundry (rare)! Perfect stay for our family of 5. Would definitely stay here again. Hot water for the shower was inconsistent, but with the heat of summer, the odd cold shower here and there was not a deal breaker.
- Evelina (10/5): Exceptional - Big appartment with all needed equipment and lovely terrace in great place. None
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (9/5): Great location! Spacious and Nice clean rooms - About 1 minute walk from Rialto bridge, this apartment is in a great location, but off the main streets so quiet. 3 nice rooms, one bath and nice deck. Plenty of natural sunlight, and functional AC. We had problem with hot water, could only get about 1 1/2 showers for our family of 5. Owners said there was a way to prime the system but we couldnt figure it out.
- Anonymous (10/5): Clean comfortable and accessible to everything - the location could not be better and the recommendations for restaurants were some of the best of our whole trip. everything worked out perfect. plan for stairs
- Andrei (9/5): Superb - Spacious & Clean. Friendly people.
- Alex (9/5): Superb - Very convenient location, spacious apartment, nice terrace. Only one bathroom, the check in process wasn’t as smooth as it could be.
- Shefer (1/5): very disappointed - location Let's start with the fact that the company that manages the place, simply lied about the floor where the apartment is: fourth floor without an elevator and not first and a half as we were told in the booking process, the service, which cannot be defined as such, was the worst we have encountered to date, and we are very seasoned travelers. The apartment is not clean, in short I recommend you to be careful.
- Grahame (8/5): Very good -
