• Tomasz (10/5): - Wspaniałe miejsce. Bardzo miły i pomocny gospodarz. Tak naprawdę miejsce idealnie położone. 4 minuty od przystanku. Łodzie 4.1, 4.2 pływają z tego miejsca na Murano i na plac św, Marka. Oraz dworce. Zarówno autobusowy jak i kolejowy. (Uwaga jedynie na kierunki. Ale wszystko jest dokładnie opisane na tablicach) Piesze też blisko. 8 minut spokojnego marszu od głównego nabrzeża przy św. Marku i 10 minut od samego placu. Jeszcze do mieszkaniu. Duże, przestronne. 2 łazienki. Doskonały włoski klimat. Rano pobudkę robią krzyczące mewy i krzątający się na placu tubylcu. Ale przede wszystkim spokój i beztroska zdają od ogromnego gwaru samego centrum. Dla nas to był strzała w 10.

• Willi (9/5): Toller Gastgeber - Luca ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber und äusserst hilfsbereit. Bei unserer Ankunft hat er sich die Mühe gemacht, uns an der Station Ospedale abzuholen, damit wir die Unterkunft finden. Es war immerhin schon 22:00 Uhr.

• Celine (9/5): - Lots of space. 2 large bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and large living room. Washing machine was helpful. Great location in a 'real' area of Venice - not at all touristy. Close to great places to eat which were also not touristy. Luca was very responsive to messages and met us when we got off the boat to take us to the apartment. The stairs leading up to the apartment are very steep and very narrow. Difficult carrying bags up and down. We did know there were steps up but underestimated just how steep and how narrow. Washing machine and dishwasher were great but only 1 capsule for each of them - expensive to buy our own when only there for a few days. Showers took a while to heat up.

• Hannes (10/5): Sehr schön, venezianisch, ruhig! Einfach perfekt! - Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, sehr unkompliziert und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung ist eine wunderschöne Altstadtwohung, die Lage besonders angenehm, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den Alltag und sehr gute Lokale sind in der Nähe. Das Viertel ist wenig tourismusbelastet und sehr ruhig. Wir waren zu viert (zwei Freundespaare) und es war sehr angenehm. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen, wenn wir Venedig wieder besuchen.

• Jessica (9/5): - Avant d'arriver, Luca, notre hôte, nous a donné tous les meilleurs conseils pour arriver jusqu'à Venise. Il est ensuite venu nous chercher à l'embarcadère pour nous amener à l'appartement qui se trouve à moins d'une dizaine de minutes de la.. Un très bel appartement dans le style vénitien. Très spacieux et bien décoré. Emplacement idéal, loin de la foule et des touristes, avec quelques restaurants à proximité. Et situé à 15 mins des lieux principaux à visiter. Il faisait un peu froid en fin d'après-midi dans l'appartement jusqu'à ce que le chauffage se mette en route. La litterie des petits lits n'était pas très confortable et les oreillers étaient un peu durs.

• Monica (9/5): Estupendo - Nos hemos alojado en el apartamento de Luca y ha sido todo un acierto. Es muy grande y limpio. Luca fue muy amable, nos proporcionó y nos dió todo tipo de indicaciones, desde el aeropuerto, restaurantes, etc. Desde el aeropuerto al apartamento la estación de vaporetto está muy cerca y también para ir a las islas. A poca distancia de las atracciones turísticas. Sin duda lo recomiendo. La habitación de las camas individuales era muy amplia pero las camas resultaban pequeñas

• Bahar (10/5): Traumhafte Wohnung mit Wohlfühl-Charme - Die Wohnung war ein Traum – sauber, gemütlich und mit einem ganz besonderen Wohlfühl-Charme. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause. Luca ist unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit – wenn man etwas braucht, ist er in fünf Minuten da. Ein Ort zum Ankommen und Genießen!

Authentische Wohnung in Laufweite zur Altstadt - mit einem super Gastgeber - Schon vor der Anreise gab es Tipps von unserem Gastgeber zur Anreise, der Lage der Wohnung und Hilfe bei Fragen. Vor Ort wurden wir am Bootsanleger abgeholt und zur Wohnung gebracht - ein super entspannter Start! Vor Ort waren Tipps für Ausflüge vorbereitet und wir haben die Schlüssel bekommen. Die Wohnung ist authentisch und ruhig gelegen. Viel Platz und eine tolle Ausstattung - mit mehreren Klimaanlagen, die es auch bei Hitze draußen sehr angenehm machten. Nach dem Trubel der Touristen oder wenn man sich in den Gassen von Venedig etwas verlaufen hat, ist die Lage ideal für etwas Ruhe, zur Entspannung und Schlafen. Auch mit den Kids sehr gut geeignet - es ist eine große Wohnung. Die Altstadt und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß gut und schnell zu erreichen, aber auch ein Bootsanleger ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Man kann abends essen gehen und zur Wohnung zurück laufen. Auch die Inseln Murano und Burano sind von der Wohnung schnell zu erreichen. Auch während des Aufenthalts konnten wir jederzeit Hilfe vom Gastgeber bekommen und auch der Check-Out war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns absolut wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Insgesamt ein rundum tolles Erlebnis und super, um Venedig kennenzulernen - jederzeit wieder! Besonderer Dank an unseren Gastgeber!

He gave us essential information about navigating the Vaporettos to travel from train station to the property, and met us when we got off the water taxi. As a host, he is perfecto!! The location of the property is excellent - walking distance to St Mark’s square and Rialto bridge, with lovely tavernas and pizzerias close by. You don’t need to consider anywhere else if you’re visiting Venice!! Nil - it is perfect
• Elodie (10/5): Magnifique séjour - Nous étions déjà venus à Venise mais nous voulions faire découvrir cette merveilleuse ville à nos deux enfants. L’appartement a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Il est vaste, très bien équipé et la localisation est parfaite: sur une charmante place au calme et à proximité de tous les centres d’intérêts. Le Castello est un quartier charmant avec plein de bonnes adresses pour dîner ou boire un aperitivo. Quant à Luca, c’est un hôte formidable comme on n’en rencontre plus beaucoup. Il est venu nous chercher au bateau et nous a permis de rester quelques heures de plus en gardant nos bagages. Tous ses conseils ont été précieux, notamment pour le parking et les commerces. Nous reviendrons!

Wonderful apartment with views and all the conveniences needed. Excellent host, who gave us best directions from the airport (by boat) and picked us up at the boat station to walk us to the apartment.

• Laura (10/5): Exceptional - An excellent, large and clean appartement with everything you need : air conditioning in each room, hot water at every hour, WiFi, TV, looots of towells 😊, window blinds, fully equipped kitchen, perfect bathroom and perfect matresses 😊!! It's perfect for families as well as for couples, it's in a very quiet and nice area and veeery close to San Marco. Luca is the greatest host we've ever met!! He is so friendly and helped us with all the info, he even picked up from vaporetto station 🙏 Thank you Luca for all your help and for welcoming us with cold water and Prosecco!!😊👏❤️ We cherished your home as if it was our home and we felt like home!!! • Richard (10/5): Exceptional - super traditional Venetian apartment. We loved that it was just outside the tourist area. it was so very quiet at all times of day and night. we could completely relax when back in the apartment. Luca was a super host, always on hand with advice and recommendations.

• Allison (10/5): Great location and property manager - Great location - quiet area of locals but a short walk to the action. Close to water taxi stops. Best part was Luca who met us at the water taxi and escorted us back (the Venice lanes are a maze) and had a cold bottle of Proseco waiting for us! He also sent ahead detailed instructions for how to get from the train station to him, and also how to get to the airport when we left. That was a lifesaver! Like most apartments in Europe, there are no elevators and it was a hike up two flights of narrow stairs with luggage. But this was expected. There are .mosquitoes in Venice, and leaving the windows open for air meant my granddaughter woke up with 10 bites (but not 3 others of us...?)
• Robert (10/5): Perfect Home Base for the Magic of Venice - I thoroughly enjoyed my solo eight-day vacation in Venice. The neighborhood of the apartment is far enough away from the crowds to be peaceful but still a perfect launching point for long exploratory walks or for jumping on various vaporetti. It is fully furnished including strong wifi and a washing machine which is handy for longer stays. This is my second time in Venice and I still find it to be magical so I expect to return and will come back to Luca’s wonderful home.

• Anna (10/5): Charming family apartment - Luca was an amazing host, he provided excellent instructions on how to reach the apartment and we loved that he shared his family apartment with us. It is a spacious apartment with a washing machine and is located in a quiet area of the city, yet it was just a short walk to all of the Venice tourist sites. The apartment was clean and Luca made sure we had espresso to start our morning. It's important to note that this apartment is located on the second floor and there is no lift. It wasn't an issue for our group, but anyone with mobility issues should be aware. A reminder that the main mode of transportation in Venice is foot or boat, the public boats are efficient and cost-effective, but it's about a 45-minute ride from Piazzale Roma or the airport. So be sure to factor that in when planning your arrival/departure.

• Simone (9/5): Perfect apartment to explore Venice with a great host. - The location of the property was perfect for exploring Venice, and also away from the busy centre. Two separate bedrooms were really good. Luca was a fantastic host, he met us from the Alilaguna and provided us with local tips to make the most of our stay in Venice.

As others have said, it is an area still occupied by locals and it was a privilege to stay there. Luca was a fantastic host, he even came to meet us at the water bus station so he could show us how to get to the apartment which was really appreciated. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend. Nothing! Just one thing to be aware of and it’s something that can’t be helped is that there is no lift if you have luggage so luggage has to be carried up the stairs to the apartment - but this is only a minor inconvenience and can’t be changed due to restrictions on altering the property which is understandable!

It is a very comfortable house for families with nice beds and amenities. The host provides a very personal service and even walked to collect us when the private water taxi delivered us to the wrong station. He then also walked us to the public water taxi station for departure. We would highly recommend this stay. Nothing it was great

• Heather (9/5): Fantastic apartment! One of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend. - Virtually everything! Luca was an excellent host with great communication. He texted us Vaporetto schedules and provided us with suggestions for restaurants as well as many things to do and see without using tour guides or groups. The apartment is his childhood family home so he takes good care of it, and appropriately wants guests to as well, so it is in very good condition. The kitchen has all necessary amenities, though many North Americans might miss having a toaster. This is easily managed by toasting on a grill pan instead. The beds are very comfortable, and it was nice to have 2 twin beds for our older kids. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood but very close to St Mark’s Square (about 10 minutes of walking). Waking up to only the sound of birds chirping was lovely!There are MANY good restaurants within a 15 minute walk. We missed out on the ones closer to Piazza Ospidale - but do check those ones out! The air conditioner in the master bedroom was quite loud when it came on - I think it just needs some maintenance and the ones in the other rooms were quiet. A very small issue, and we just chose to turn it off at night.

The apartment was spacious and very nice. I would not hesitate to recommend the apartment. Nothing to do with the apartment itself, but if you stay away from the tourist areas it can be challenging finding your way home. But half the fun of Venice is exploring!

The living room gives you the opportunity to get together and eat at home and the beds are quite comfortable. Luca is the perfect host and had plenty of advice for us, even before our arrival. We enjoyed our stay very much and would be pleased to come back.

• Tim (10/5): Exceptional - A fantastic apartment in a super quiet part of Venice (Castello) that itself has some of the best restaurants in the city and is still conveniently located. The apartment is spacious (we didn't use the second bedroom/bath); the kitchen seems generously stocked (we used only the coffee machine); Wifi was reliable and quick. There are several excellent restaurants within six minutes walk.
• Chikako (10/5): Great staying in perfect relaxation - The location is perfect near to Celestia sea bus stop and 15mitues away from Rialto where it is away from noisy area for good sleep. all furnished for furniture, batheoom utensils as well as kitchenware. it is like a home away from home. following is happenings :) when I left Celestia seabus station(Celestia ACTV FERMATA) , I realized I forgot my backpack in the station, I called the apartment owner to check my backpack. he was very kind to help me . he immediatley went to find my backpack without any hesitate mood. he sent me a message that he got my backpack. he is really nice and so gentle to take care of us. I really wish him a very best and milions of thanks. I recommed specially to whom a couple or family for great experience to understand Venecian local life and relaxing home.
• Jasmine (10/5): Large and clean 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet neighbourhood - Large 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet part of Venice. Easy walk to the nearest vaporetta stop, the apartment is very clean and well decorated. One of the room even has got an extra toilet which was a surprise. The area is less touristy and you really get a sense of the local neighbourhood. As it is less touristy, can be a little hard to find at the start, but you will get used to it once staying there for more than 2 nights.

• Anonymous (10/5): Beautiful apartment, befitting of such a beautiful city. - A beautiful, traditionally furnished second floor apartment in the Venetian style with lovely character and some beautiful old pieces of furniture, Venetian glass chandeliers, Venetian lace curtains, etc. High ceilings, floor to ceiling wooden windows. The place absolutely oozed only slightly faded grandeur, much as the city does. The air conditioning was effective and much welcomed. It is very spacious, with large bedrooms and ample space in the lounge and dining area. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped with everything we needed, including a large fridge and freezer, nespresso machine, etc. It was wonderful to have a balcony to enjoy a late night glass of vino rosso or early morning coffee. The location is wonderful overlooking a quiet residential square with a couple of canals in view, only a minute from a lovely local trattoria, bar and grocery store and a 5 minute walk to the local co-op supermarket. There is a beautiful church very close by, and the bells do ring at 07:30 every morning but I found this delightful and who wants to sleep late when you have the beauty of Venice to explore?! Best of all the apartment is only 10-15 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco, but a lovely walk it is through the maze of tiny streets, over Venices lovely bridges and canals, the walk was probably made longer because every turn opens up another wonderful iconic photo opportunity! Luca the owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful meeting us off the water bus on arrival and providing invaluable information such as directions, vaporetto timetables etc which made all our travel arrangements so much easier. Thank you Luca - we hope to return some day! Nothing!
