• James (8/5): Highly recommend Venice Penthouse, it is a beautiful apartment away from the masses! - We loved the location it was great to be able to retreat to a quieter neighbourhood as well as having easy access to other areas around Venice via the water buses. The apartment was really lovely and spacious and well equipped and the roof top terrace just delightful. We were really glad of the elevator too! Lots of little touches made it very functional such as a number of mochas, great supply of kitchen accessories, and basic pantry items. It is difficult to fault the Venice Penthouse we did enjoy our stay. The shower heads weren't the best which can be a little annoying however in no way a deal breaker and we managed.
• Dr. Wolfgang (9/5): - Sehr schöne Lage, Aussicht von der Terrasse wunderbar, Innenausstattung außergewöhnlich gut inklusive Küche, Geschirr, etc. Gastgeber sehr freundlich, Verspätung wegen später Zugankunft kein Problem! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Die Dachluke auf die Terrasse ist sehr schwer und benötigt 2 Personen zum öffnen- die Aussicht entschädigt aber in jedem Fall die kleine Mühe! Ansonsten sehr zum empfehlen, vielen Dank Avise! Die Informationen und Empfehlungen waren überaus hilfreich!

• Leslie (1/5): EXTREMELY Disappointed NOT HONEST - OK...I never leave a negative review. I believe in just moving on, but when you travel across the ocean to Venice and thought you were getting an amazing apartment and don't, I need to share so others are not cheated as well. They mislead me and mislead on their advertising. They say there is AC but they would not turn it on. I called and explained it was miserable hot and bugs and no screens in any windows and the host told me to relax and enjoy the terrace??? SERIOUSLY... He said the "owner" won't turn it on until June? HOW CHEAP Other units have the AC on! Expected us to use windows with NO screens and bugs could enter. NO FANS False advertising. We left the apartment immediately after learning the owner would not turn on the air. We were not there more than 10 minutes and went next door to the Hilton instead. (WHICH WAS GREAT) THEN...they also said they would honor a refund and to just request the refund through booking.com, so I did this immediately, and they denied it. This was only a 2 night booking. They could have refunded our money. TRAVELED from United States to stay here, and I am from Texas and I can handle hot. If their preference is to be cheap or frugal... at least state no air is on, I do not understand not being HONEST upfront and advertising AC and stating you would honor a refund since we did not stay there. PLEASE TRY ANOTHER PLACE!!!!!! summing it up....They do not specify the air is off, and when we called host he said they will not turn on the air until June and told us upon arrival only. Not acceptable. They received 900$ of our money I can not get back and we never stayed....
• Ricardo (8/5): Overall pleasant experience - Location, privacy and rooftop area. Nil air conditioning or fans available, which made the apartment quite hot at night. Had to sleep with windows open and there were mosquitos.

• James (10/5): Don't Miss the Chance to Stay Here! - Wow, this place was a dream come true! Our host went above and beyond expectations ensuring that we could find the apartment and telling us where to get groceries, places to eat, etc. Really cannot say enough good things about this property and host - hope to get back there someday! Several small AC units that took a long time to cool down the entire (very big) apartment. Beyond that, no negatives - this place was fantastic.

• Reinhard (9/5): Perfect appartment on Giudecca island! - Wonderful terrace with beatifull view on the Giudecca canal! We had some problems with the electrical power supply (fuses are rather weak) but we got immediate assistance and then it worked again.

• Anonymous (10/5): highly recommend, the communication and management were high calibre and the facility was impeccable - clean, cosy and warm in winter with good lighting. good facilities for a family with multiple rooms and large communal areas. Rooftop was great with beautiful views and good furniture. the property had a great location for any kind of transport to and from Venice. great transport right over to the main island. located near good shops and great restaurants. nothing negative to say
