• Elif (10/5): Die beste Aussicht auf den Kanal von der Terrasse aus, wir haben sehr viel Zeit verbracht dort - Casa Marco Polo war bis jetzt beste Unterkunft, die wir je hatten. Der Aufenthalt dort war grandios. Der Ausblick direkt auf den Kanal an der Marco Polo Brücke sehr saubere Unterkunft sehr geräumig würden immer wieder hin. Wenn Venedig dann nur diese Unterkunft Man könnte immer an den Betten arbeiten, aber bei den kurzen Aufenthalten, die man in Venedig hat, ist das völlig in Ordnung

Stay here if you visit Venice. - Right on a scenic side canal with a steady flow of gondolas and smiling happy people waving and saying “Caio” or “Bonjourno” while we sipped the chilled vino our hosts welcomed us to the property with on the terrace just a few feet from them. Super convenient to the Rialto Bridge, Venice beauty and vaporettos (water taxi’s) where we could easily get most places on the city. The host met us to take us to the property and gave us a tour to know where everything was. Super friendly and welcoming. We mistakenly left a couple items in the property when we left and the hosts kindly retrieved them and mailed to us. The bathroom was amazing. Nothing

The atmosphere feels like stepping into a postcard of Venice. The apartment was spotless, elegant, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality — they went above and beyond to arrange my transfers and make everything seamless from arrival to departure. A truly special place that captures the beauty and charm of Venice. Highly recommended!

• John (10/5): This is probably one of the best destination stays I have ever encountered on Booking.com - The hosts were absolutely brilliant and couldnt do enough for us. They organised for us to be picked up from the airport via a water taxi and dropped off at the apartment right outside on the private jetty were we were met by the host and showed us the apartment and its features. They even took us for a short walk to point out where the supermarket and restruants are. As to the apartment - well, what can I say? Its is absolutely fabulous, cannot fault it, brilliant location, and you can watch the Gondolas going past every minute of the day. We sat drinking coffee in the morning and vino in the afternoon on the terrace watching the world go by. Its location is smack bang in the middle of venice, a few minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and 10 minutes walk from St Marks Square. The hosts explained how to catch the waterbus to the airport from Rialto Bridge, even sending us the bus timetable. Well done to them for providing us such a wonderful time in their apartment, will definately come again. Thank you. Nothing

Sitting on the back dock, sipping champagne and watching the gondolas go by is a core memory I will always cherish with my husband. Our host, Claudia was amazing! She was kind, communicative, and helpful. She insured we had everything we needed for our stay and helped us book a water taxi out. She went above and beyond, checking in to make sure we got to the train station and all was well. Amazing, amazing experience. We have no complaints!! Thank you so much Claudia for making the first stop on our honeymoon one we’ll never forget!

• Michelle (10/5): Wonderful! - Everything was amazing! The room was perfect: quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. Easy walk to shopping, restaurants and landmarks. I would have been happy with just the room but it came with its own dock and door opening to the canal. I enjoyed watching the gondolas and other boats go by. The host even helped me arrange pick up from a water taxi when I checked out. It made getting to the train station so easy. Also, Host had great communication and checked in with me to see if I had any questions or needed anything.

During our three-night stay, the kids spent hours sitting by the window, waving and chatting with people passing by on the gondola—it brought them so much joy. And Claudia is, without a doubt, the kindest and most helpful host I’ve ever met. Thanks to her, our last stop on this trip was absolutely magical. The husband met me at an easy location right near Rialto bridge and the house is a short walk from there. The location is perfect and VERY quiet, especially at night. The AC is perfection. The bed is very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Shower is perfection, hot water and great water pressure. If I’m lucky enough to come back to beautiful Venice, would 100% stay here again. What’s not to like?! They’ve truly thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible

The canal level little terrace was so special to sit and watch the gondolas glide by. Absolutely charming. It even had its own platform so you could arrive by water taxi! Claudia the host was also lovely and helpful. A very minor thing, but some reading lights by the bed would be handy.

She helped with reservations, gave us a brief tour of the area, and helped book our transportation to and from the room. The room literally shares a wall with Marco Polo’s residence. • Denise (10/5): Don’t miss this property! - This property was amazing! It was right on a canal with its own loading dock for a water taxi. The host was incredibly helpful and kind. She allowed us to do an early luggage drop off while we went sight seeing, she arranged our water taxi transport to and from the parking garage to our unit. She made calls for us to the garage. She Took a video of us arriving to the unit for the first time! She gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne (though we don’t drink alcoholic beverages, it was so thoughtful!) She gave us directions and even walked us part way to our first ticketed attraction because she didn’t want us to be late or get lost. I highly recommend this unique canal access room to everyone! It did not disappoint!!!❤️ Nothing. Maybe could have provided bottled water as a convenience.

This accommodation absolutely made our stay in Venice. From the moment we arrived in our private water taxi, right to the deck of the apartment, to the time we left, everything was perfect. The apartment is HUGE! You have your own personal deck, so rare in Venice. Sitting out there watching the gondal's pass by frequently was like a dream. The front door into the courtyard is beautiful. The apartment feels so private and quiet, yet it's only a 2 min walk to the Rialto bridge. The location is perfect. Now let me tell you about Claudia, the host. She is so beautiful and does things like films you arriving in your water taxi, that just makes it extra special. Words will never describe how much staying here was like a dream. Absolutely worth every cent! You feel like royalty. Not a thing, loved absolutely everything.

We loved spending afternoons on the deck watching gondolas float by with drinks in hand. It was pretty amazing being inside and catching gondolas float by across the window - so unique! It is right on the canal with a private jetty, which seemed to be quite unique - it felt like a true Venice experience. The hosts are absolutely fantastic, they are so accommodating and offered to assist with any tour bookings and reservations we wanted. I highly recommend boking this apartment!!

Just a few blocks from the Rialto and San Marcos and adjacent to a canal, you get a real feel for Venice. Marco Polo’s residence is part of the same building in fact. Claudia was extremely attentive and has a great eye for art and attention to detail. I forgot to ask at the time- but I didn’t see any shampoo or bath soap.

She even gifted a amazing bottle of bubbles. The place was exactly what the pictures were and it was incredible being right on the canal watching the boats come by. She also was able to help us book water taxis to the train station, making early morning travel a breeze. I will be back to Venice and will be back at this place! Not a thing!
• Thai-ling (10/5): Dream location in Venice that kids will never forget - Casa Marco Polo is in the best location, walking distance to the main attractions. We traveled with our kids 7&9, and they were fascinated by the fact that the water taxi dropped us off right in front of our house when we first arrived, and we left to the airport the same way! We absolutely loved seeing the gondolas go by in the canal as we had breakfast together. So surreal and magical. The apartment itself was really comfortable for our family of 4. And our hostess Claudia was just amazing, always available to help us! Venice is just a magical place, but the location of this apartment, the comfort, and the amazing hostess made our stay absolutely unforgettable. If I come back to Venice, I would stay here again! Such a unique location, where you can sit & watch the streams of gondolas pass by from the comfort of your own accommodation from early morning to late at night in the beautiful patio area. Very comfortable too with plenty of space for our family of four. Claudia was a great local host giving excellent recommendations that we used & enjoyed. The hostess met us on the water, right outside our apartment - easiest commute in Venice by a looooong shot! No cobbles, bridges, crowds - felt like VIP's :-) The apartment's location is great and the small porch on the canal gets you upclose and personal with Venice and the gondalas! The room is super spacious and everything is really clean! I am just a sucker for white bedding....

• Victoria (10/5): This apartment was magical and was one of the most unique places where we have ever stayed! - This apartment and the hosts are amazing! The host met us near Rialto bridge and took us to the property. Her husband helped with our luggage, which was really nice, considering all the stairs to navigate in Venice. The host, Claudia, explained everything we needed to know about the apartment, and told us to text her if we needed anything. She communicated well, both before and during our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We felt completely safe in the apartment, and never heard the neighbors. It was the perfect size for our family of 3, and could easily accommodate a family of 4. With a door that separated the toilet/vanity and shower areas, the bathroom was convenient for when a couple of family members needed to get ready at the same time. I think the location was the best in Venice! We were a short walk to the Rialto Bridge/Grand Canal, yet tucked away on a quiet canal. The large private patio at the water level, with the private dock and amazing views of the gondolas and bridges, made this apartment our favorite place to stay during our journey through Rome, Venice, and Milan! Each morning, we grabbed breakfast at a nearby cafe, and ate our croissants and drank our coffee on the private patio, waving to the boats and gondolas that passed by. Claudia arranged for a Water Taxi to pick us up after our stay to take us back to the train station. We felt like celebrities leaving from our private dock, and waiving to Claudia and her husband as the Water Taxi drove off. We want to return to Venice so we can stay in this wonderful apartment again! We can't think of anything it lacked. It had everything we needed!
• Molly (10/5): A magnificent place to call home when visiting Venice, and steps from the magical Rialto Bridge. - The apartment is dazzlingly gorgeous! Way more than the photos, which make it seem sterile—it is incredibly clean but also so elegant and though extremely spacious it somehow feels cozy. It is in the very best location, and arriving and leaving by boat is very special. Also, the building is from the 1300s, and the courtyard is so charming, but you’d never know it from the apartment. Nothing at all.

• Zaccari (10/5): Experience of a lifetime - The most incredible apartment to match a magical stay in Venice. Not only was it near to all of the tourist attractions, but the balcony/view out of the shutters and the position of the apartment was breathtaking. We rested from sightseeing by sitting and watching the gondolas go past, and it was such a novelty for our young children too. Claudia was the best host we have come across. She arranged a water taxi to and from the airport for us, which felt very luxurious. She also kept our bags for us, kept in touch via whatsapp, gave us loads of great tips and very generous offers for our stay and generally felt very much like a friend in Venice. The apartment was vast, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need for a city break, and there were even extra toiletries in the bathroom- attention to detail was so appreciated. We have had the best time ever in Venice and made memories to last a lifetime. In future, we couldn’t stay anywhere else after having experienced Casa Marco Polo- it really made our trip! ❤️

Being right on the canal and watching the water activity while sipping on a glass of wine-bliss 💫 The beds were not the most comfortable, and the floor was a little gritty. But the location of this gem of a property and everything else about it made it so worthwhile - we would definitely stay here again.
• Anita (10/5): A Rare Gem, the Best Apt in Venice - Once I saw this apt on booking.com, I knew i had to stay there. If you see any availability, grab it! We booked this apt first before securing our flights to Venice, and Casa Marco Polo was even better than the descriptions. Tucked away in a quiet historic courtyard but steps away from the hustle and bustle, this fully renovated and beautifully decorated studio has the most dreamy canal view and the most welcoming, hospitable host Claudia. She and her husband are both kind and made us feel so at home in their city. The studio was plenty spacious for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). Ask Claudia to arrange a water taxi arrival for a one of a kind experience. We just left and miss Casa Marco Polo already! Nothing, property and host were perfect.
• Geraldine (10/5): Exceptional - This amazing apartment exceeded all our expectations. With its central location yet quiet setting right on a canal, it offers convenience and comfort. The cute terrace from where one can watch the gondolas passing by is especially charming. We also enjoyed eating in the terrace while watching the world go by. We were given a very warm welcome and well taken care of by the most friendly and welcoming host. She even coordinated a water taxi, which dropped us off right on the terrace. Can't recommend this place enough.

The room was big and clean and the beds were so comfortable. Claudia is a rock star host. She kindly arranged a water taxi to meet us at the train station and take us directly to the private dock at the apartment. She gave us a mini-tour of the immediate area and her gelato recommendation was spot on. Our kids loved watching the gondolas go by. This place is a 10/10.

The beds were comfortable and the facilities lovely and clean and everything you need. The terrace is fabulous and a lovely place to sit and watch gondolas go by. The host Claudia was wonderful, she met us at the apartment organised us water taxi's and was so helpful, she even did a lovely video of us arriving and leaving the property by water taxi, which was such a lovely touch. The property is in a perfect spot, only a few minutes walk from all the main attractions and some lovely places for breakfast and dinner. If you'd like a wonderful venice experience, stay here. There was nothing we didn't like.
• Shou (10/5): We can imagine ourselves staying here again when we visit Venice in the future. - The host was excellent and was on standby to wait for our arrival. She is very welcoming and was happy to give assistance/recommendations whenever we needed. The accommodation was perfect for the 4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids below 10) and the location is the main highlight. The accommodation is right next to a side canal and the dining area has a door opening that has a great view of the canal with gondolas passing. It is not the cheapest accommodation, but we think it is worth every penny. N/A
• Shalini (10/5): BEST PLACE TO STAY IN VENICE WITH OUTDOOR SEATING - It’s a beautiful and spacious apartment with full kitchen. One of the very few apartments in Venice that has an outdoor seating area with the view of the canal. We spent so much time sitting and watching the gondolas from here. Less then 5 mins walk to the Rialto, and 7 mins walk to St Marks Basilica. Very central. But very quiet. Claudia the owner was very helpful and friendly. She organised water taxi for us which brought us right to the apartment ( amazing experience). She was there to meet us at the apartment and made a beautiful video of the experience. She gave a a full guided tour of the area and called us around to show key venues in Venice. She was such a delight. She even came to farewell us and send us another beautiful video of departure. Highly recommended this place if you coming to Venice. We will be surely coming back Everything was amazing
• Karel (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutelly fabulous! I think this place can easily compete with super rich hotels at Grand Canal. The pier with gondolas passing by is a gem. And the owner is so helpful! Really the best accomodation in Venice. The only low point is that you don't want to leave the pier and go to the Venice streets 😀
• Richard (10/5): Casa Marco Polo is a unique property in Venice that is in the heart of the city. Very special, and a wonderful location - The location, on a canal, was amazing. Within walking distance of so many sites. It was so clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Our host Claudia was super responsive and caring, and checked in to make sure all was well. She helped us with transportation and made sure that we had a wonderful stay in Venice. Nothing we didn’t like!

• Terry (10/5): So glad we found this place and it surpassed my expectations. - Property is in the perfect location, as it is a short walk to the Rialto Bridge. Our water taxi took us to the dock of the apartment and was an incredible experience from the airport. Each morning, I would sit on the dock and watch the Gondolas cruise by one after the next. Short walk to endless restaurants. Easy walk to St. Mark Square, the Grand Canal and the Marco Polo Bridge. Property is in a beautiful historic building and very clean. We enjoyed a meal at the dinning table with dozens of gondolas passing by during our meal. The perfect host and location for our first trip to Venice. We are seasoned world travelers but it was our fist trip to Italy. Collecting cash upon check in was weird, but is a local custom for additional taxes the website doesn't include. Host asked for photos of our passports to register us with Italian officials. We have never been asked to provide sensitive information like that before and it didn't feel right. We felt better about it when the Rome host also collected cash and asked for our passports to register us. Just be prepared for this unusual custom.
• Karin (10/5): Exceptional - Claudia is a miracle worker. For the first time (and we travel regularly with booking) we experienced such perfect help. Thanks to her our daughters really enjoyed Venice:). The apartment is great, close to everything and yet in a quiet place, unless you open the window to the canal :), where it is wonderfully lively:). It's amazing to watch. We recommend it to everyone.
• James (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location. Claudia was super accessible and helpful. Easy water taxi right to the room. Could use more furniture to relax on other than the beds. But sitting on the dock was fantastic.
• Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Claudia was the most incredible host, helping provide local recommendations and organising travel and food as needed. The apartment is beautiful, in a wonderful setting and we were sad to leave. It was filled with ameities and Claudia was not far and on hand with anything that was needed. We were so close to everything and the balcony was an amazing treat to watch the gondolas go past. Can't think of anything.

• Martin (9/5): Faboulous large and quiet apartment with private outdoor seating at a Canal close to Rialto Bridge - - The location is directly situated at a canal. Unique Venice experience with the Gondolas and Water taxis passing by while enjoying the complementary sparkling sitting indoors or outdoors. - Very quiet apartment next to Marco Polo's birthplace, even though it is just a 5-minute walk from the buzzing Rialto. Highly recommended

Host recommended restaurants also amazing. A little on the expensive side for me with extra tax costs and getting around was really costly as well.
• Bennett (10/5): A brilliant stay! Service second to none! - The apartment was large, spacious, clean and superbly located. We particularly enjoyed that it had its own dock and could sit in the dining room with the doors open, with a drink watching all the gondolas go by. The hosts were superb, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer any questions we had, make recommendations and be on hand if we needed anything. Unfortunately my son required a trip to hospital whilst we were there and she even offered to come with us to help with translating etc. They arranged our transfers to and from the accommodation which meant we were able to arrive at our own dock, that was extra special. I really can’t recommend this apartment enough. Thank you for a fantastic stay. Absolutely nothing! It was all brilliant!
• Kendra (10/5): Wonderful place to stay with wonderful owner available! - Claudia met us right outside the apartment at prearranged and easy to find location and gave us a demonstration on access code, using appliances, opening patio doors. Towels and linens as well as other toiletries were available. So much space and we loved the back patio. We sat out there on our second night (of three) and drank the bottle of Prosecco she gave us and chatted with the gondola riders and gondoliers. We felt like locals. Great dinner recommendations. We could not have been happier with this stay and will recommend to other friends traveling to Venice. Nothing

Her friendly orientation to the area was very welcomed. Claudia is by far the best Airbnb host in my opinion as she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best and most comfortable stay in her place. Everything we needed she provided and the place was very clean, spacious, beds very comfortable, beautifully decorated and most of all her availability and friendliness was Tops. She even made video clips of the path we would take to visually follow it and not get lost. I would recommend her place to anyone and would love to come back again. Grazie mille Claudia!!
