- Mcgillen (9/5): Superb - Location, location, location. We loved this property and its central location. We felt very safe in this old building. It was spacious and extremely comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat. The air conditioning unit (located on the balcony) needs updating as it constantly dripped and the seating area was wet as a result.
- Susie (10/5): I loved this apartment - First of all the pictures of the apartment are real, we actually couldn't believe our luck to find this gem was real.
Lovely and quiet central location close to trevi fountain , pantheon and Spanish steps .
Loads of restaurants to choose from .
Close to bus stops to get around the city.
All rooms were large and very comfortable, lovely bathrooms and full kitchen with everything you could possibly need.
It even has a good terrace to sit out on to relax.
Small supermarket downstairs has anything you need and is not expensive.
The apartment is on the 5th floor but has an elevator which is a bonus.
It has excellent air-conditioning , washing machine , clothes dryer and dishwasher .
It was the perfect home away from home , I honestly can't think of anything negative to say, we felt like crying leaving to go home. Nothing !
- Fabio (7/5): Good - The apartment is huge and very spacious. Lift is such a bonus for Rome.
Toiletries provided. Location is as good as it gets in Rome!
Terrace is great and accessed via one of the bedrooms - not as issue as there is another balcony off the dining room. Air con in the bedrooms, living room and hallway - definitely a plus! The facilities are a bit dated (with the exception of the bathrooms that seem renovated recently). Lack of kitchen appliances - for instance some of the pots and pans had no lids and for the size of the apartment only a handful of glasses/cups. Also lack of cleaning products/plastic bags/towels etc (for the price you would assume that these basics would be included.
Main issue was the cleaning - mainly the kitchen - the oven was unusable and everything needed to be washed as it was clearly dirty. I get it’s a massive flat to clean and probably the cleaning people only have a couple of hours.
- Ella (8/5): Amazing location , fantastic location authentic Italian apartment lovely quiet terrace - Dhan kept in touch via WhatsApp about arrival times . He was very polite and professional and showed us around the apartment It would have been nice to have a few added extras like some tea towels and washing liquid . Plus the cooker was really dirty and we couldn’t use the grill because of the smoke - no toaster either . Some outdoor cushions would also be nice as the seats a little uncomfortable
- Melissa (8/5): Excellent apartment to stay in with your family. Convenient location, very large in size and comfortable beds. - Location, Size, Amenities The sofas were old and uncomfortable, but honestly we did not spend time in the living room so it was a non-issue.
- Julie (7/5): Great location - easy walking reach of most major sights - Excellent location, lots of room, great terrace. The sofa beds are broken and can’t be used so shouldn’t be advertised as beds. Some of the furniture was broken (e.g. table top not fixed to table). Very bare bones - no dishwashing liquid or hand soap in bathrooms which I would expect at a minimum. Otherwise, if you don’t need to use the sofas as beds and are prepared to buy a few basics yourself this is a very good place to stay.
- Kim (5/5): Great location, however the apartment was on the old side, very hot and not comfortable for elderly people in summer. - Great location, walking distance (max 2km to everything). Rome is very hot in the summer so we booked a place with A/C as I was travelling with my elderly mother. There was no A/C in the bedrooms and it was so hot we had to leave early and check into a hotel. Additionally kitchen amenities were not that good, the kettle was broken and there was no toaster.
- Mike (1/5): horrible - location only we arrived on Sunday. the host sent a guy to give us the keys. we go up to the apartment and noticed there is no TV. the guy said TV was broken by another tenant and we didn’t replace it.
then he asked for the city tax which we knew it was 2.50 per person per day. but he wanted to pull a fast one and said on top of that I need 25 euros because it’s a Sunday.
anyways. when I tried to contact the host and mentioned no TV as was advertised. he stoped responding.
the place is full of garbage in every drawer. the washing machine does not work. the terrace full of garbage
- Hildegard (10/5): A very spacious Roman apartment with great terrace in an ideal location, absolutely loved it. - it is a fantastic location, very spacious with two seperate bedroom/bathroom great for two couples, The big terrace was a welcomed bonus. Was heated perfectly. Very very satisfied, everything was easy, communication spot on all requests were met. The bed in second bedroom could be more comfortable and extra closet space would be nice.
- Fiona (8/5): Lovely spacious (slightly faded)apartment in fantastic location. - We love this property despite a few niggles. We have stayed here before and it is cozy even though it is spacious. It has two decent bedrooms and a large lounge with dining area. It is traditionally furnished (although slightly faded elegance). The kitchen, though small,as is common with City apartments,is well provisioned. There is a lovely terrace(beware some of the chairs are a bit wonky) where you can relax and enjoy some outoor dining. There are two excellent modern bathrooms and a washing machine and dryer. There is air conditioning in the lounge and extending into the lovely hall. The apartment is perfectly situated around the corner from the Spansih Steps and just minutes away from the Trevi Fountain and within easy reach of other attractions/sights such as the Piazza Navona and Pantheon. There is a good supermarket in the ground floor and a cafe/bakery opposite. There are many restaurants in the area around the apartment and you are within walking distance of the other main tourist areas with may restautants and bars. The electrical wiring is old and you can't really use more than one appliance at a time or the fuses blow and you have to go down to the ground floor to fix. Many older apartments in Rome have the same issue and we are therefore used to this but it can be frustrating.
The sofa bed in the lounge needs to be replaced as many of the struts are broken. It did not affect us as there were only 3 of us and two bedrooms however the bed had been left assembled and we had to call the agent to restore it to a sofa as it was clear when we tried to fold it that it was badly damaged and beyond us.The air conditioning does not reach the bedrooms and of the two functioning fans provided one blew up in the middle of the night(with a smell of burning ).We did text the Agent as itwas hot in the bedrooms were very stuffy even with windows open but we were advised that that was a matter for the owner and all that the Agent could do was notify them accordjingly. Some of the chairs in the terrace are a bit wonky. One totally collapsed when sat on. Hopefully these issues will be addressed.
