• Samantha (10/5): Spacious, exceptionally clean and good value apartment - what's not to like? - We loved the apartment. Location was amazing, out of main tourist route but close to lovely winebars and restaurants. The apartment is also very quiet and peaceful -and comfortable - we all slept incredibly well - the beds are comfortable and the standards of cleanliness are exceptionally high. The apartment is incredibly spacious - we were 5 in total and had plenty of space. The organisation and communication from the host was also excellent, friendly and helpful. In short, we really loved it! Hard to fault. There's only one shower but there are 2 bathrooms - the other has a bath so it wasn't a problem. I can't really think of anything else!

• Camille (8/5): Beautiful stay in Venice - Excellent location. 9 minute walk from airport vaporetto stop to apartment. Exceptionally clean. The only two things I would recommend would be that in all the bedrooms there should be mirrors as for three female travellers in three rooms we had to share which was tricky when getting ready. One of the bedrooms(the one closest to the shower room the bedroom window couldn't be open as there were no latches to hold it open so this meant there was no ventilation for fresh air at night or daytime. Other than that everything was spot on!

• Jean-Loup (9/5): Parfait pour un séjour touristique à Venise en famille. - L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter Venise et les îles. J’ai apprécié plus particulièrement la taille du logement, idéale pour 6 à 7 personnes, et surtout sa propreté. La décoration est une question de de goût personnel, mais très agréable et typiquement vénitienne. L’accueil s’est très bien passé (excellents contacts par messagerie avec Rodolfo et personnels avec Renata qui parle très bien le français.) D’autre part, la présence d’un ascenseur est très appréciable même s’il opère par demi-étage. Supermarché et commerces de bouche à proximité, ainsi que de nombreux restaurants.

Schon im Voraus haben wir hilfreiche Informationen zur Anreise erhalten und wurden bei der Ankunft herzlich empfangen – das war sehr aufmerksam. In der Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants und Supermärkte, und das Stadtzentrum ist in etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Da die Unterkunft nicht direkt im touristischen Zentrum liegt, war es sehr ruhig – für uns ein großer Pluspunkt. Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in Venedig – wir kommen gerne wieder!

• Deirdre (10/5): It's not often you get to stay in a former Palace! - Spacious for our group of 5. We were grateful for the AC units in the bedrooms. Having a fully equipped utility room was a bonus. We loved the serenity of the location on the waterside but also with access to 2 vaporetto stops within easy walking distance.

• Beatrice (10/5): Enjoyed stay in a pleasant and well located apartment - The apartment was perfectly cleaned, confortable and well equipped. Check in and check out were easy. The building is quiet. It is well located, at the boarder of a canal, with a lot of good restaurants and bars but not crowded with tourists.

• Pearce (10/5): A wonderful Venetian experience - This apartment is full of character to really immerse yourself in the Venetian atmosphere. Really great location as it's quiet, yet easy to walk everywhere. Renata and Rodolfo were so helpful with guidance on how to get there and how to make the most of our stay. We felt very grand staying in the palazzo! We were grateful for the air conditioning units as it was very humid. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the shower was great. Kitchen has everything needed, including tasty coffee. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to return soon!
• Andry (9/5): Comfortable and Convenient - The apartment is great and has everything that you may need for a long stay. Easy access to the main attractions. We were a group of 6 people and it was comfortable enough. The building is pretty cool. Rodolfo was kind and accommodating with us. The check in was not very smooth as we had to meet someone and we were running late due to train delays. A self-check in would be ideal. Also, the rooms need curtains so you can have a bit of darkness in the morning. Other than that, it was great.

• Melinda (10/5): A beautiful Venetian place to stay. - The apartment was well located which made getting around easy. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. It was large and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable for a group or family. It was well equipped.

The bedrooms are beautiful, one large double, one small double, one large twin and one single. Kitchen well equipped. The best part was the host Rodolfo who met us there and was very helpful. It is in a great área, close to many restaurants, a grocery shop, Coop,nearby has everything you need. Very quiet at night and safe. Close to the vaporetto stop. There are some steps up and down to the elevator. Not many but be aware if you really can't manage any stairs at all.

• Sieglinde (9/5): Superb - We spent three nights in Rodolfo’s apartment in Cannaregio, and it was a wonderful experience. The place is grand and spacious, comfortably accommodating seven people. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Palazzo Lezze is perfectly located along Fondamenta della Misericordia, which is lined with a variety of excellent restaurants—ideal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful palazzo. The nights were peaceful and quiet, and we loved waking up to the lovely morning view of Murano Island. Thank you for a memorable stay!
• Beverley (9/5): A wonderful apartment in a beautiful city - The location of this apartment was excellent as we were in Venice for rowing lessons from Row Venice. The apartment was furnished to a high standard and the kitchen well equipped. There was a lift to reach the third floor, which was good given six flights of stairs with luggage is hard work. Rudolfo was good with his communications before our stay. We arrange to arrive between 8-9pm and agreed the city tax but not a 'late arrival fee', which we were charged. These details were included in a folder in the apartment. Do check if fees will be applied before your arrival. This does seem to be a common practice in Venice.
• Marleen (9/5): Everything was just perfect. Nice host, very quiet location with a nice view. Well-equiped kitchen. - It was very easy to check-in. We were called by the owner about our arrival time, and there was someone waiting for us to do the check-in. There was a small smell in one of the bathrooms, but I think this often happens in Venice because of the changing water levels.

• Bjetris (10/5): Comfortable, spacious and in perfect location! - The apartment was exactly what me and my friends were looking for. We were specifically interested in the location - Cannaregio was the spot. There were 5 of us - a married couple and 3 friends - so we needed separate rooms and at least 2 bathrooms. All our requirements were met here, with all the abundant space and the equipment that the apartment offers. We also appreciated the decor, specifically little picture collection.(loved the sketches!). And Rodolfo surpassed our expactations as a caring, very responsive and supportive host. He made sure we could relax during our vacations not worring about such trifles as what to do with our baggage before the check-in and after check-out - we could store it in beyond the rental hours, in the cleaning time. This was a real game changer, as we could make the maximum use of our time in Venice. As to the district itself - Cannaregio has always been my fave, with all the little eataries (Sulla Luna, Torrefazione Cannaregio, Osteria L'Orto dei Mori and a stand with beverages at Campo dei Mori), proximity to the buzzing centre, yet an ample distance from it when we wanted some rest. Overall, we would love to return for the next Biennale, maybe even for the Architectural one next year :-) Thanks, Rodolofo! One wouldn't mind a slightly bigger shower unit and the bathtub, Zanzariere in all the windows would make the place a sheer perfection :-)

The decor was gorgeous and added to the experience. I have no complaints. The entire experience here was exactly what I wanted.

Restaurants and shops close by. Very clean, very nice accommodation. Of the three places we stayed in Italy, it was the best!

• Berliner75 (10/5): Spacious apartment, perfect location for exploring Venice, in atmospheric palace - This is a superbly located and spacious apartment, on the third floor of an old Venice palace (no worries, with a lift!), impeccably clean, four bedrooms & two bathrooms, and heavenly quiet at night; with two supermarkets round the corner, in a less touristy part of Venice, whilst still within easy walking distance of all the major sights. Rodolfo was a fantastic host; with excellent pre-arrival communication; and Renata kindly allowed us into the aparment ahead of the normal check-in time, which allowed us to explore the city all afternoon in glorious sunshine. All perfect - nothing to complain!

• Pam (10/5): Home away from home in Venice - This is a beautiful, emaculate, traditional Italian home apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. It is located centrally but on a quiet canal. Rodolfo was a great host He met us there, showed us thru the house, and answered questions. He even called us on the day we were leaving to tell us about a local transportation worker strike that would affect our trip to the train stayion. I highly recommend staying here! There is nothing to dislike.

• Matthew (10/5): Great Value and Style for a visit to Venice. - Beautiful spacious apartment, the location is perfect for visiting Venice. 10 minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge. 5 minutes from the connections on the Grand Canal. Great restaurants a few minutes walk.. You can be on Murano in 20 minutes. A well stocked supermarket around the corner is perfect for those that prefer to self cater sometimes. The apartment owner was very helpful and welcoming and allowed us to check in early. From the airport you can take the Alilaguna blue line to within a about 8 minutes walk for 15 euro per head. Or a water taxi to the front door for about 120.00. The main transport hub for Venice is the Piazzale Roma, here you can get taxis, airport transfers and trains. It is a straight forward 20 minute walk or water taxi ride. The cost of Venice can soon mount up for a family. Staying here can really allow you to control your budget by walking, self-catering, and picking your attractions and feel part of the city. Opening the huge wooden doors from the street with the lion head door knockers to enter the lobby felt good every time. The apartment is on the third floor and there are a lot of stairs. A lift is available but still up one flight and down one flight to the landing. It is a small lift push chairs would need to be folded to fit, and four people would be the maximum. Therefore I think this is an apartment that works well for fitter families with older children.
• Tom (10/5): Exceptional experience and perfect way to visit Venice. - The location and style of the apartment were amazing. Everything functioned fine and better than you can expect for a very old building but it takes a little time for hot water to be delivered to the bathrooms.

We were met by the owner who helped us into the property. The property was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We would recommend the property to anyone considering visiting Venice. As always, the restrictions on heating during the "summer" months can cause problems if a cold snap occurs. Outside of the owners responsibility.. as it is imposed by the Government.
• Lizzie (10/5): Exceptional - I became sick on my trip and we called Rodolfo for help. He was wonderful. He called the ambulance for me. I received excellent care at the hospital which was only a half mile walk away. Rodolfo even came to visit me in the hospital. A true gentleman. We didn't not get to see Venice after all but his spacious and special apartment was everything I had been hoping for. Location is perfect. I cannot praise this property enough. Thank you Rodolfo. • Gordon (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment in the centre of Venice - Location was amazing - very central. The views were great. We loved the antique furniture and the very comfortable but elegant rooms. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and it was peaceful and quiet overnight so we slept very well. The bathrooms were great and there was plenty hot water with a good shower. We loved everything about the property.
• Brian (9/5): Hidden gem - Location was amazing. Rodolfo was attentive to our needs even though absent during our five-night stay. The apartment was roomy and happily accommodated the seven of us, including three young children. The cheerful, sunny kitchen was a highlight. Showers were a little tricky, especially the one that only had a hand shower over a bath. However, the good-sized bath was great for young children.

It was a great place to enjoy Venice as a group with enough space for teenagers and grown-ups. The apartment is stylish but has a relaxed comfortable feel to it. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare food. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to have a true Venetian experience and not stay in a hotel with limited space. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

It was perfect for us as we were a group of five and therefore needed a lot of space. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and the hosts were super helpful! The location is great - not too far from the main area of Venezia - but also far enough from the big crowds of people, making it a quieter and calmer place to stay. Overall it was a great place to stay during our visit to Venezia :) It was very hot during our stay in Venezia, and while the apartment was equipped with several air condition units that didn't take long to cool down the rooms, one of the rooms didn't have an air condition unit, making it unable for us to use. It wasn't a big problem as we ended up having enough space for all of us, but it was unfortunate that we couldn't use every room in the apartment. It also took a while for the air from the different air conditioning units to reach the rooms without air condition. This made especially the bathrooms and the kitchen uncomfortably hot the first day, but thankfully it got better after a while. All in all these didn't end up being big problems :)
