• Todd (10/5): Outstanding location and the views from the rooms were stunning. - Host Ionela met us in the rain, right on time. Beds were a little lumpy.and lacked soft sheets.
• Ma Gyan Sevanti (6/5): Es gefiel uns - mit italienischen Abstrichen. - Die Lage der Wohnung ist phantastisch: Am Quai nicht weit vom Markusplatz, mit Blick zur Lagune und auf San Giorgio! Sie ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die freundliche Betreuerin hat uns in Empfang genommen und sofort geholfen, als eine Schwierigkeit auftrat. Im Grossen und Ganzen haben wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die geschmackvolle Einrichtung wurde durch fehlende Schranktüren geschmälert. Mehrere Lampen (und später der Geschirrspüler) funktionierten nicht. Das Wichtigste wurde jedoch sofort erledigt. Das Bettzeug entspricht nicht den Anforderungen der heutigen Zeit, ua auch zu kleines Fix-Molton. Morgens war das Bett nicht mehr korrekt angezogen. Auch wäre ich gerne ohne Wanzenstiche heimgefahren.

• Carl (9/5): Great views of the grand canal. - The location was excellent. It was not far from major attractions but was far enough away to get a break from tourist crowds. There were some great dining areas nearby, and a market within a short walk. The views from the apartment was amazing. We had some difficulty with the lighting in the bedroom to the right of the front door. I am not sure if the switch at the wall did not work or something else. Not sure if or where the A/C controller was located.

• Stefanie (9/5): Venedig einmal anders. - Wir hatten eine tolle Gatgeberin mit sehr unkomplizierter Schlüsselübergabe. Die Wohnung hatte sehr bequeme Betten und es war sehr sauber. Die Aussicht toppt aber Alles. Vor Allem die Sonnenuntergänge. Vom Standort der Wohnung erreicht man alles fußläufig und die Vaporetto sind quasi vor der Haustür. Schön ist auch die Einkaufstraße um die Ecke. Hier kann man sehr gut einen Aperol trinken am Abend oder Essen gehen. Zum Markusplatz sind es 20 Minuten zu Fuß.

• Jenna (3/5): Not a good experience - The location and views were amazing When we arrived, the air conditioning in one bedroom was not working. Someone came over within a couple hours to fix it. We left for the evening and returned around bedtime. At that time, the air conditioner went n the second bedroom was not working. After reaching out to the property, we were told to reset the electrical panel. This caused the air conditioner to work for a few minutes, but it never blew out cold air and kept turning off every 5 -10 minutes. After resetting the electrical panel several times, we just went to bed with no air conditioner. It was 80 degrees in our room the next morning. In the bedroom where the air conditioning was running, the occupants couldn’t charge their cell phones or devices without causing the air conditioner to stop working: I reached out to the property again. They kept saying we had the remotes in the wrong mode, even though we sent them pictures of the remotes and they said it looked correct. We ended up leaving the next day and booking better accommodations. When I contacted the property to inform them, they still kept telling me that the air conditioners were first me and we just weren’t using the remotes correctly. I requested a partial refund and never got a response or heard another word from them/

Kaffee, Zucker, Salz, Essig und Öl waren in der Küche bereitgestellt. Erklärungen beim Check-In; unkomplizierter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin.
• Rory (10/5): Fantastic Location with Breathtaking Views - The view from the apartment was fantastic. The apartment is very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds . The location is great, surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. St. Marks Square is a short walk away. The apartment is at the top of the house with no elevator.

• Schuabaur (5/5): Lage perfekt, Einrichtung stilvoll, Klimaanlage und Elektroinstallationen sind defekt - Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist perfekt. Von jedem Fenster aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Lagune und die Altstadt. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll ausgestattet. Der Vermieter war über Whatsup immer sofort verfügbar und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kostenloses W-LAN hat gut funktioniert. Eines der beiden Schlafzimmer ist an heißen Tagen zum Schlafen nicht geeignet, da die Klimaanlage extrem nach Schimmel (Gesundheitsrisiko!) und Staub stinkt. (Das Problem ist gemäß der Bewertungen seit längerem bekannt!). Wir hatten deshalb die Matratze in das Schlafzimmer getragen, in dem die Klimaanlage funktioniert und haben zu Viert in einem Schlafzimmer geschlafen. Die Deckenleuten haben in beiden Schlafzimmern nicht funktioniert. Eine Steckdose (Steckdose am Kabel an der die Lampe auf dem Schreibtisch angesteckt ist) in dem bewohnbaren Schlafzimmer stellt ein Sicherheitsrisiko dar. Die Stehlampe funktioniert nicht.

• Carina (10/5): Wonderful apartment with amazing view - Wonderful apartment with an amazing view. Two big rooms, bathroom with shower and washing machine, comfortable beds, very clean, air-conditioning worked perfectly, WiFi worked perfectly, smart tv in each room, a kitchen with a table and chairs, so we had breakfast with a view of the ships passing by :-) kitchen well equipped, so we could cook simple meals for our family of five. There is also a coffee machine and a kettle. Ionela the host was very nice and communication worked effortlessly. The apartment really helped to make our stay in Venice extra special. For us everything was perfect, people with walking disability should know that the apartment is three floors up without elevator. And if maybe two couples share the apartment they should know that one room doesn't have a door, just a curtain. Everything was perfect

• Susan (10/5): An apartment with a view - The LOVED the view and location - including near a delicious bakery, fun bars and decent restaurants. We slept well in comfortable beds and will definitely return if we can No issue for us but: - you must climb 3 floors to reach the apartment; - 1 bathroom/shower - 1 teen slept on cot because teen siblings didn’t want to share the queen bed - outside windows construction on floodwall and walkway. Again, these downsides did not prevent us from loving the apartment.

Many restaurants. Very helpful host. Very nice kitchen facilities. Lights weren't plugged in. One power strip in second bedroom damaged and needs repair. Key of door to apartment was hard to get out of the cylinder. Stairs: As seems to be typical of Venice rentals, rooms were several floors up with no lift.
• Tom (6/5): Needs renovation - The view from the apartment is amazing. The host, Ilona, I suppose she was of an agency,was very friendly and helpfull. The photos are taken by a real good photographer and do not reflect the reality.
• Paddy (6/5): Pretty good location but there was no Lounge area in the apartment. - Nice area, good view, clean flat. There was no lounge - just a one bed flat really - dishonest! The kitchen was extremely cramped. Nice area, marred by all the noisy work happening from 7am, which we were not informed about. Not sure about the workings of the air conditioning - we were warned not to turn it off (?) Too expensive.

Amazing aircon during a heatwave kept all 5 of us cool. Beautiful views and great restaurants and walks nearby Yes there is no elevator but the stairs are totally fine and the aircon worked a treat so no issue at all!

• Yang (4/5): May be good for a longer stay where family want to cook but climb upstairs is hard if more luggage. - Location was good. I communicated the time and way I was arriving. The meeting point was set for the COOP and when I got there, I was sent the coordinates of the apartment and told to meet the liaison there, which is half a street back from where I had just walked from. So long walk back with heavy luggage. The apartment was not ventilated and aircon not switched on upon arrival. I did not realize the apartment was 4 flights of stairs up with heavy luggage and no help. The apartment felt like an AirBnB place where someone was just living there and went out for the weekend and left it for us. Utensils and wires and tools were not really organized. There are no amenities available for shower...soap at the sink and a bottle of shower/shampoo gel in the shower cubicle. There was no tissue paper, and only a tiniest dustbin in the toilet, none in the room.

A second set of keys or being told which buzzer. The hanging area for clothes was ridiculously high with few hangers. A rail on the ground would be better at least in one room. I was surprised to be expected to have to take all the rubbish out as we left.

• Tod (9/5): Very nice apartment, great location, with a fabulous water view once the construction is done. - Relatively quiet location compared to the train station area, or nearer to St Marks. Water taxi stops were very close. Ongoing construction of the sea wall right outside the windows. Heavy equipment, barges, and cranes being operated all day.
• Jaslin (4/5): Key to door was not working, stuck outside for 2 hours - The view from the room was stunning. I could see the Adriatic Sea. Doge's palace was also within walking distance. The key given to me didn't open the door. We arrived last week when the temperature was 7 degrees. We are from a tropical country so we were freezing. All four of us tried our hand at opening the door with the keys and it didn't work. We got help from 2 Italian strangers and they couldn't open the door either. The person in charge was uncontactable for almost 2 hours. This was the most annoying part for us as we had been calling him for so long. Secondly, we only got in after 2 hours when someone else living in the same apartment opened the door and helped us with the door. The keys apparently work but there is some very specific way to open the door that the four of us , along with 2 Italians, couldn't figure out. Now, even though the interiors were amazing, this has put a sour taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend going here if anyone is travelling with elderly parents in winter as being stuck outside for 2 hours is not fun at all.
• Huaiyu (10/5): Great location, clean facilities and a great staff. - Location is great. It is 15 minutes walk from St Mark square and major attractions. The street in front of the apartment is a vibrant local street with restaurants, markets and shops. It is fun to mingle with local people there. We like the bakery place called Major and a local restaurant called Nevodi. The property manager Matteo is too handsome. It makes me jealous. (Joking) None actually. 😆

• Nancy (9/5): I have never been to Venice. The apartment was in an ideal location. Loved it!!! - Location was great!!! No real living room. Sofa in a bedroom in one of the rooms. So, no separate place to relax. Wasn’t a big deal because we were out and about most of the time . The key to the front door was hard to work. We had to call a person in the building to let us in.

Matteo went above and beyond to give us great recommendations for restaurants and drinks near us. We were amazed at how pretty and conveniently located the apartment was. Could not be happier!! There is nothing I would change. Both bedrooms were beautiful and so comfy. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom was spacious with a great shower. It was exactly as advertised and the pictures did not do it justice
• Angelique (10/5): Great apartment on the quieter side of Venice - We enjoyed everything about this apartment. Location was wonderful (quieter part of Venice) but still only a 15 min walk from St. MARKS Basilica. The view was spectacular. Everything looked just like the pictures. The bathroom and the bedrooms were very spacious and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with cooking supplies. Very clean and accommodations perfect. The staff met us within 5 minutes of arriving to the apartment to let us in. He showed us around and letnus know ton call if we had any trouble with anything. We absolutely loved this place for 2 couples and if we return to Venice I would not hesitate to stay here agai. Would be great for families too. The washer was leaking, so we were unable to finish some laundry. It was the last day so it was not a problem for us. Since apartment is on top floor, there are Lots of stairs (again was not an issue, but could be an issue for some.)

Beds were excellent, nicely furnished..had everything we needed. Was surprisingly quiet and more spacious than I had anticipated🙂 The Air conditioning was barely adequate, although we traveled during 85 degree fahrenheit weather Also stairs with luggage definitely a challenge--but we were aware of this from other reviews. Probably why it's such a great value.

The bag was left on a bed, very clearly yet the staff did nothing to assist except ignore us.

• Ria (10/5): I will come back again. - Oh my I have a list a) Location, get off at Arsenal walk about 200 steps and you have your apartment. b) Matteo met us below the apartment, handed us the keys, he was warm and welcoming. c) The rooms were neat clean and so beautiful. d) the view from our room was exceptionally beautiful. e) We had reasonable restaurants and bars just downstairs. f) If you interested in cooking, a co-op is also available within 200 yards. g) St martin square is 7 brides across and Rialto is another 5 mins walk. h) Gondola rides are across the streets when you walk towards the St Martin's square. I could go on and on , but I need to stop so, hope this helps.

Overall good experience There were dust under beds which I only got to know when looking for shoes which slipped that was lot of dust , cleaner hasn’t done good job before guest arrived.

The property manager was great, gave us detailed information both before and during our stay.. Close to the fabulous area of Castello. No elevator. 67 steps to the floor with 6 bags was challenging in a narrow staircase. Small kitchen with very limited view out the small windows. Else, you have to sit in bed to eat to get a view. Coffee machine not working and not fixed during 4 day stay.

• Shivani (10/5): Exceptional - The Apartment is beautifully located with lovely views from the windows, the only negative being that it's up a lot of flight of stairs and with luggage that would be taxing. However, Matteo, Francesca and Yoelle , helped storing our luggage down so we didn't face any problems. They were the best hosts , available to answer any questions and help us even post our check out. The best place with the best hosts. Must stay!

Matteo, property staff arrived personally to greet us. He even carried 2 pieces of our heavy luggage to go up almost 4 flights of stairs. Easy walking distance to Piazza San Marco, restaurants shops and the water bus as well. Francesca the property manager was delightful and extremely helpful with suggestions on where to eat and visit. we will definitely stay at Fenix Turandot on our next visit to Venice! Nothing not to like!
• Vladimir (10/5): Great stay in Venice - Friendly and very professional management. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, clean and has everything you need to have a great vacation. It is close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and a few minutes walk you will reach Mark's square, from there, just keep walking to find the rest of all the beautiful places in Venice.
