- Arek (8/5): Very good -
- Áron (1/5): Not worth the money. - The apartment was dirty, I found hair on the bed, in the shower etc. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable, there were dead mosquitos everywhere, and the view from the main bedroom looking outside the window was a little space filled with dirty trash bags and other stuff.
- Andra (5/5): Good location, the worst client service - The location is amazing if you want to visit the Biennial, even if not, it is not far away from San Marco and the area is not that busy. The apartment is very humid, smelling like dampness and it was extremely cold. Outside, where there were 17-18 C was warmer than inside. We were wearing our jackets inside all the time and I caught a cold because of the cold during the night. I asked to turn the AC on if the heating was not possible and they refused. They were not answering the messages almost never. The worst client service that I had at this type of accommodation so far.
- Vladislav (1/5): If you can find a better option in the area, go for it - The apartment was smelly and cold. The stuff was unfriendly. The paint is peeling off the walls. There is no any heating at the apartment, it was 13 degrees outside and the owner told that they are unable to help in any way. There is no coffee maker as it says in the description and WiFi is really slow. The pictures represent an apartment that was there 5 years ago maybe.
- Ioannis (8/5): Very good - Big rooms The toilet is too small
- Colin (5/5): Apart from the aircon, machine it was great. advice take mosquito repellent. - Location was excellent. Bed was comfortable The aircon and washing machine did not work. Toilet seat was broken. The W. machine does not drain and probably has not in a while as the water was filthy and smelly. Lost half a day trying to get my clothes out the machine.
- Stawrula (6/5): Pleasant - Apartment is good located. Quiet and sweet neighborhood, near to nice bars and restaurants. Very damp, lots of mosquitos and no nets on the windows.
- Claire (6/5): We had a flood from rainwater while we stayed. No one came to see if we were ok and when I asked for a discount we were - Great location. Quiet. Terrible sofa to sit on. Terrible to sleep on when opened into a bed.
- Roy (8/5): Great position, when you find it ! - This is a very utilitarian apartment with every thing you need. The shower is good , the bed is really comfy, and the location for the Biennale is great. We had a very useful stay. It was a difficult place for us to find, as it is nicely tucked away. However, this means it is quiet and restful.
- Filusch (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marek (9/5): Superb -
- Noelle (8/5): A little musty at first, but a charming apartment in the perfect location. - It was in a perfect location. Walking distance from everywhere we wanted to take adventures to and great restaurants right at our front door.
We also thought our host Timmy was great. He came by in less than 10 minutes when we had issues with our hot water. It was a bit musty and the place could also have done with a little more cleaning as there quite a bit of dust above the bed and other areas.
But Timmy really did make up for any negatives we had. He was great.
- Leslie (8/5): Loved the location. The Neighbourhood Friends were very helpful and helped us navigate unfamiliar appliances, laundry e - Location We stayed for two weeks. No comfortable seating in the unit after a long day of walking and exploring.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, with some lovely restaurants nearby.
- Madeleine (9/5): Lovely apartment in Castello area Venice - Really nice little apartment, perfect for my partner and I for a week, kitchen was good, situated close to restaurants and supermarket, host was so lovely and quick responses to any questions N/a
- Aurimas (8/5): Very good -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location short walk to St Marks, waterbuses close as well
- Roma (9/5): Superb -
- Brenda (10/5): Absolutely loved it and the very helpful staff!! - Perfect location, loved the quiet nights, loved how close it was to the street market neighborhood area. It was an easy walk to the square and surrounding areas and to catch a boat. Loved being able to open the windows. Mosquitoes - had nothing to do with the property but sprayed bug repellent around the windows.
- Andrzej (9/5): Superb -
- Iris (6/5): Pleasant - location
- Amber (1/5): cold. damp. moldy. water damage. rude host. - location to bienalle is the only redeemable feature. photos are deceptive. water damage. black mold. heaters do not function properly. host was curt. uncomfortable bedding. cold. heater did not function properly. property was damp and cold. host was unreceptive and rude when I asked questions - I asked for a butcher he recommended he said "you can go left or right" yes. that is true. I anticipated some assistance - he seemed arrogant and rude. when I asked how to use the washing machine he shrugged his shoulders and said his wife does the laundry - I feel sorry for his wife - feigned incompetence should be considered a hate crime against women. the fish were broken - most items in the apartment were broken - and when I told him this he was fully aware. do not stay here - find another host in this neighborhood. apartment is rubbish. host is rude.
- Stoif (8/5): Very good - The area is a very authentic area of Venice beside a nice park and near to coffee shops and restaurants. Be careful the door can close behind you if you step out without the key. Happened to me. My venice host came and let me in again approx 90 mins later. I am so grateful to them 😀
- Anne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Johannes (3/5): Big disappointment! - The apartment is damp, smells of mold, is small and the amenities are very mediocre.
This is contrary to what the description and photos suggest.
The interior of the apartment is shabby. The bathroom makes you claustrophobic.
The "garden" is a neglected little courtyard behind bars and the "courtyard" is gloomy, dark and gloomy.
The only thing to see there is a rat trap.
You can't open windows, because then you get even more mosquitoes. And here is no "cityscape" at all.
For the first time after ten visits to Venice we were glad to get away.
- Helene (7/5): Good -
- Stephen (8/5): This apartment almost has it all! - This apartment had almost everything I was looking for: excellent wifi reception (which can be a rarity in Venice), a well-equipped kitchen, a washing machine (essential for an extended stay), air-conditioning (a massive relief during hot nights in August), even an ironing board and iron, close to a supermarket, and close to the vaparetto (had to do a lot of back-and-forth to the Lido). Communication with the property manager was great, which made check-in very easy. The apartment is just off the great via Garibaldi but still on a quiet street. There is also a sofa bed in TV room, which can come in handy for additional guests. Tons of great cafes and restaurants just steps away from the apartment. In general, I do have a preference for an apartment located on the top floor instead of the ground floor (having someone above you can possibly translate to hearing them move around above). But I'm willing to make an exception for this apartment...
