Guest Reviews
- Leslie (10/5): Must stay in Venice - Unique, comfortable and wonderful location.
- Alberto (10/5): Per una esperienza immersiva di un viaggio a Venezia questo alloggio è il top! -
- Sirka (8/5): - Great location right next to Peggy Guggenheim Museum, with own pier onto Canale Grande and private back garden. Unfortunately both were in the shade, so we could not use it as much as we hoped for - at least at this time of year ... Apartment provided bathrobes and slippers, which was a bonus. There are quite a few steps inside the apartment and it takes some navigating through the narrow passings/bathrooms. The decor of the flat was a bit overwhelming and challenging for the eye and the senses :-)
- Michael (9/5): Perfect spot, fun interior, cosy. 1 improvement needed. - Location amazing. Own private dock to arrive direct from the airport via Consorzio Motoscafi Venezia. A very nice space to sit on and enjoy a glass. Bed comfortable. Kitchen has all the amenities needed. Lost 1 star due to the garbage situation. I fully understand it is the city rules regarding collections, times, and what goes out each day. But other apartments in Venice will help. This one simply says anything you leave and there is a penalty (€160 if I remember correctly).
So for us. Check out was Friday. That is paper and cardboard day. Glass was Thursday morning. But being our last night we wanted to enjoy a bottle of Prosecco on the dock. What do we do with the glass bottle Friday morning?
Other apartments in Venice expect you to remove all garbage but understand and allow small things like this that fall on the wrong day. So it was rather disappointing just to be threatened with a fine for something out of our control.

- Patrick (10/5): We couldn’t have been happier. Highly recommended! - Charming flat with our own Grand Canal private dock - spectacular! Very special accommodation, beautifully equipped and perfectly located. Water taxis directly to and from our dock. Friendly and helpful hosts met all our needs.
- Rex (9/5): We had the best time exploring Venice and mostly kept away from the crowds. This apartment was well thought out. The gar - It is in an area that is quiet, has an artsy vibe, with great little bars and restaurants.
The owners have presented this apartment with great care and every detail down to the linen shows wonderful taste. nothing, it was lovely
- Martin (10/5): -
- Shirley (10/5): Perfecto!!! - Best stay in Venice. Wonderful host, wonderful place. The insects outside. But that is not the host fault. 🤣
- ronald (10/5): - Location location location Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Of all our trip acroas Italy this was our favourite stay. We ate on the deck over the Grand Canal every night and loved every minute. Nothing!
- Ian (10/5): Perfect apartment, perfect location - Location was perfect. The private jetty onto the Grand Canal was fantastic. Morning cappuccino watching Venice go by.!
The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything you could need in place.
Very highly recommended.!!
- David (8/5): Nicely appointed apartment with good access - great to sit out on the jetty with a wine and watch all the boats go by - Great location with its own jetty and garden
- Jacobs (10/5): The ultimate stay in Venice!! - Astoundingly terrific location with private dock. We took a private taxi from the airport directly to the property. Met by rep of company who communicated well and was so nice. The property is perfect for the venice experience. Well stocked, clean and quiet. It is not possible to photograph what it actually is like. Near the vaporetto stop to travel the canals. Just perfect!! N/A
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (5/5): Love the location but wouldn’t stay at that property again. - Location was fantastic. Right on the water😀 The management was extremely poor. We arranged for a late check in and the person who was to meet us was over 2 hours late. Given that we arrived at 11:45 pm that meant it was after 2 am when we finally got in the apartment. Though I tried reaching someone through the numbers provided I got no response. I left a detailed email message and the next day the property manager responded and basically called me a liar and blamed me for the late hour. I am horrified at the response I received. I told them I felt we should be compensated for one night. Perhaps you could help.
- Angelaharburn (9/5): Beautiful Apartment on the Stunning Grand Canal - Perfectly placed in the beautiful Dusoduro region of Venice. Totally spoilt with outdoor space both on the jetty overlooking the Grand Canal and the beautiful little terrace garden at the back. The underfloor air conditioning system was extremely efficient but it's the first time we haven't been able to control the temperature in an apartment ourselves. At times it became rather too cool for our comfort.
- Barry (10/5): We were met by Bepi who was wonderful. All comms were excellent - Location was perfect. The private dock and courtyard were absolute treats. We far prefer this location to St Marks Square. Far less crowded with more of a neighbourhood feel. It was a little too cold. But one only needs to open the doors - which have insect screens - and the unit can be warmed pretty quickly. The front door has a lock too.
- Marco (9/5): just perfect - LOCATION
- Bisselberg (10/5): The place to stay if you want to feel a bit of classic Venice - Everything! The beautiful decorations. The deck/dock on the Grand Canal. The private walled garden. It’s truly hard to describe how wonderful this apartment is for a stay in Venice.
- Joerg (8/5): Nice apartment, impossible rules, check out 10 o’clock, must take your garbage with you, ridiculous - Check out 10:00 in the morning is far to early.
You have to take your Garbage with you.
Not acceptable for a price of €500 per night
- Danielle (9/5): lovely view, lovely dock but be prepared to take out your own trash everyday at 6-8am otherwise get a $200 per bag charg - the view and dock were unbeatable! it was clean and they gave you robes and slippers too. The place itself was gorgeous and designed with a Venice flair. owner was very communicative and gave us an extra blanket when needed it the first day and they left us little bottles of champagne (we repaid the favor and left a bottle of Prosecco from our wine tour because it was too much to carry to naples!) They expect you to take out your own trash everyday or at-least before you leave at 6-8am in the morning. the trash isn’t right outside the door either, you have to walk at-least 8-10 minutes down to the main docks to put it out, otherwise you get charged $200 A BAG. For over $500 USD a night I expect the owners to find a way to take out the trash after we leave. I’ve done airbnbs before and had no problem cleaning before we leave but the anxiety of the trash everyday that early in the morning was not what I expected for that much money a night. also they also didn’t service out room everyday to replenish toilet paper or coffee, which we dealt with but again, just mentioning it. overall it was a lovely stay and I know Venice is an island but if I had paid less for this place, I’d be fine with taking out my own trash .5miles away but not that early, not that far of a walk away, not every day and not for that much money per night. just a warning to others because $200 bucks per trash bag you leave is a crazy expensive and kind of ridiculous when you’re paying that much per night. still overall it was a great stay but anxiety ridden with the trash at the end
- Charlie (9/5): Fantastic - Absolute location! Resting on the edge of the Grand Canal with a private jetty to watch the boats go by whilst enjoying a drink. The apartment is small but very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Be careful with the small ants that might appear around the sink. Not lots of them so manageable.
- Perry (9/5): Superb -
- Joseph (10/5): Great Place right on the Grand Canal. Loved watching the boats. - It was on the Grand Canal, it was beautiful only one set of towels, we had to wash and hang dry the towels as there was no dryer
- Brent (10/5): a sensational apartment with the best views. you really live in the heart of Venice - the location and view are superb it could have been cleaned better and info when we checked in was average. Perhaps because English not that good. also quite a bit of noise from Guggenheim cafe and supply delivery
