• Lucy (10/5): We loved every moment spent here. - This property was in an ideal location close to everything. Lots of restaurants and shopping just steps away. The property owners/management were friendly and very attentive. My sister and I arrived early and they were there to help us with our luggage. The stairs were quite alot and we were very appreciative for their assistance. My 3 cousins arrived a couple hours later, and they returned to be sure they were there to help them out with their luggage too. They were very attentive when we ran out of paper towels and bathroom tissue. The beds were super comfy. It was spacious enough for all 5 of us on a special cousins week. We recieved a brief history about the building and the apartment. The apartment was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed the lovely outdoor space. I loved hearing the bells in the distance. The stairs to the loft were a bit steep so the youngest in the group used that room and she loved it. The bathroom shower water pressure is low, but I believe this is normal for these older buildings

• Andrea (10/5): Amazing stay! - Gorgeous apartment. Wonderful location, amazing host! Fully stocked kitchen, washing machine, 2 bathrooms. Second and third bedroom are not fully private which I did not realize when I booked. It isn’t ideal for parties of all adults but would be ok for children or young adults.

We wished we could have stayed longer it was that incredible. Our host was so accommodating and helped make the stay so amazing. Truly cannot wait to come back. N/a

• Jacqueline (10/5): Absolutely incredible place - An absolutely incredible place. Walk out of the door and you’re in the heart of Florence. Location couldn’t have been any better. Apartment had everything you could need, kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, it was spotlessly clean & had stuff for the kids to do too. They were obsessed with the game machine! Beautiful architecture too. Host was so friendly & helpful. He showed us around the place, spend ages answering any questions we had & showing the kids how to set up the game machine. His English was amazing too. He helped us carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs. We had forgotten to request a cot before the morning we arrived & he managed to find one and get it ready for us. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, just wish we had stayed here longer!

• Sarah (5/5): great location - host was brilliant with lots of information. the location was excellent this is not a real 3 bedroom apartment- the 3rd bedroom is a sectioned off area with a curtain. the bathrooms were so small and the shower was more like a dribble of water. not enough crockery and suggest adding a few more glasses/cups. there was not enough storage for clothing.

The description did not mention 1 bedroom is a loft, that overlooks another bedroom. Ceiling light from lower bedroom is directly at loft level. Trying to sleep with it on was an issue plus no privacy between these bedrooms. Stairs up to loft are very steep. We all managed however if we knew, we would have made a different booking.

• Patrick (5/5): Well decorated and centrally located with uncomfortable beds and facilities in need of repair - Host was excellent, the arcade game was nice, tall ceilings were great. One bathroom smelled of sewer, other bathroom sink did not drain and toilet would not flush contents completely. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and sheets were thin, woke up cold due to drafty windows. Pictures far exceeded the actual condition. Sunning visually but the parts that actually matter are in need of replacement or repair.
• Danstrange (9/5): Great stay, in a cool apartment in the heart of florence - Excellent location, facilities, outside space, sound of the bells. Owner was super friendly and helpful and gave us all the info we needed. Mezzanine bedroom isn't really separate from down stairs bedroom e.g. lights from one affects the other but minor detail for us. This could be a bigger issue for others depending on their group.

Doors wouldn’t close, poor water pressure, no toaster yet online description says it had one. Not one tea towel to dry dishes. Looks nice at first but upon closer inspection many maintenance issues need to be addressed.

Host Adel was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Duomo's bells are loud, but really an awesome reminder of exactly where you are, so I liked it. It was pretty great. No complaints.

• Raname (9/5): Superb - The location is incredible, right around the corner from the Duomo, 15 minute walk from the train station, easy walking to practically all of Florence's must-see locations. The apartment is comfortable and quiet, with all windows and porches over an inner courtyard. There's a long flight of stairs to the first floor but Michele met us at the door and helped us bring up the suitcases - he was a wonderful host!
• Charles (10/5): Superb and would book again - Really quirky decor and layout which we loved!! It is so central and so many great restaurants nearby. Lovely in person welcome, so no keypads or trips to other sites to pick up keys. We were given lots of top tips on activities and food on our arrival. The mezzanine bedroom is open to the room below but wasn’t really an issue for us.

• Thu (7/5): Good - Perfect location, you just get out of the department and the Piazza del Doumo is only a few steps away. The apartment is on the 1st floor which is great, as you may know how high a floor in Florence is =)) We travel w kids w a dozen of baggage so this is a big plus! Michele the host is very responsive and supportive which is great also! The apartment has 3 bedrooms but only 2 bathrooms. We know it before making the reservation. But what we dont know is that both 2 bathroom are too small. I’ve never seen such a small bathroom in my life. You are in the bathroom alone, and you’ll find your elbow touching the wall some time. Not recommended for those who are tall or chubby! The dishwashing machine did not work. If fact it did not close properly to be able to start washing the dishes. We did not find out until we came back after a tiring day city tour. As we needed the dishes for the next morning breakfast, we had to wash all the dishes at mid night :( There is a washing machine in the apartment but there is no drying machine. Also there is coffee available but there is no teabag. I believe there are so much room for improvement in here. Thanks

The apartment could improve with a more comfortable seating area in the kitchen/living area. We were not in apartment for long periods, but when we were, the only comfortable seating was a couch that at most could seat three people. Bathrooms could be improved with better lighting and a larger mirror for getting ready. (This is probably more important for women, especially for applying makeup. There is a small mirror on stand by sink in main bath which wasn’t most functional.) Nothing wrong with apartment, but for a family, better lighting and seating would add tremendously to this small apartment.

• Madolyn (10/5): Home away from Home in the Heart of Florence! - This was an incredible place to stay. I absolutely LOVED the apartment and the decor. Well equipped and comfy. The location was PERFECT. The host was responsive and very helpful. Pre-arranged our parking. It was a short walk to the apartment from the Parking garage. The Duomo Plaza was only one short block away. The heart of the shopping district only another short block away. Cafe's and restaurants all around. We absolutely loved Florence and this apartment was the best. This is a three bedroom 2 bath space. However, I will note one of the bedrooms is lofted by another. Meaning there is no noise privacy between the two. For family with kids no issue. If couples are traveling together this might be good to know. Beds could be a little higher quality for more comfortable sleep.

Michele our host was amazing in explaining everything to us about the apartment and the surrounding area of Florence. The apartment had everything possible for a pleasant stay. We even met him again out on the street and gave us more information. What a pleasure.
• Andra (9/5): Wonderful stay in Florence - Great apartment in the heart of Florence, near the Duomo and all the touristic sites of interest. Very easy to access the facility. The host was great, very friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the linings clean. Very well equipped kitchen, coffee at disposal for all days. Lots of restaurants and shops around, very vibrant area. Bathrooms a bit too small, but clean.
• Kelly (8/5): Modern, central location that had all things we needed. - The location was wonderful, very close to everything. The apartment was spacious, modern and clean. Would have preferred a drop box for the key collection, we felt a bit rushed when having to meet someone. Also having to pay the city tax in cash was really annoying it’s the only time we have to withdraw local currency cash and it ended up costing us double the amount. Would prefer that it was all paid as part of the booking. The power went out unexpectedly and we had to problem solve ourselves as no one was answering, it was lucky my husband was handy with these sorts of things and figured it out, otherwise we would have spent the night with no power.

• Melissa (10/5): Fantastic Florence stay, unique apartment. - The apartment and location were amazing, and we were very happy with our stay for 4 nights. Our 3 children loved the apartment decor and style with upstairs loft bedroom and punching bag. Unfortunately, the Arcade Game machine is for show only, doesn't work. Very clean with everything we needed for a great stay. So central, with apartment 2 minute walk from the stunning Duomo, and about 15- 20mins from train station. Hosts were wonderful provide lots advice and help when called upon, including luggage storage and taxi booking. Would stay again. Not a fault of apartment, but being woken by church bell at 6.30am everyday was a little tough. With 3 kids missing devices on our 6 week trip, it was a shame the Arcade machine didn't work. Kids were disappointed.

There are only 2 bathrooms and the 2nd bathroom is extremely small, it continuously smells (bad odour). The handle of the other bathroom is broken. The lighting in the apartment is not adequate. The doors and windows get stuck a lot, needs maintenance
