• Peter (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it - Rudi the host was really helpful, knowledgeable and engaging when we met him at the train station and walked with us to the apartment. The apartment was much bigger than we thought it was and it was more than ideal for the two of us as we could have our own space when we wanted it. The apartment also had all the facilities we required. The location was perfect for us too. About 10 mins walk from Santa Lucia train station (where we also got most of the boats from) and the bus station. It was also about 25mins walk from St Mark's Square, which meant it was much quieter and ideal for us. Nothing

• Yolande (9/5): Lieu idéal pour un séjour long et confortable pour les vrais amoureux de Venise. - Un accueil dès la gare par le propriétaire lui-même, attentif , généreux en indications sur sa ville et le quartier en particulier - très sympathique avec petits commerces, alimentations et à un pont des canaux du Ghetto. La situation dans Cannareggio est idéale, à l'écart de l'agitation dans une rue très calme. L'appartement est parfaitement équipé et décoré avec goût. Rien à dire!

Wonderful neighborhood. - Ca’ Malia is a lovely apartment in a wonderful neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants and the vaporetto at San Marcuola. it is walkable from the train station. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The customer care team is multi-lingual, very responsive and helpful. My only caution – trash disposal is your responsibility. Best to send an inquiry to the establishment before you book, so that you understand what is involved before you commit. These were not stated in the listing, in either the property policies or the house rules.
• Michèle (9/5): Super séjour au cœur de Venise et hors du temps ! - Ca Malia est une adresse que l'on aimerait garder secrète ! C'est un appartement (une petite maison) au cœur du quartier Cannareggio de Venise, à 5mn à pied du vaporetto, 10 mn de la gare, le supermarché Il teatro est à 5mn et plein de bons restau à proximité ! L'appartement dispose de tout le confort (de tout electro ménager utile) et il est très propre . Il est très bien chauffé. Rudi est venu me chercher à l'arret du Vaporeto, il a porté ma valise jusqu'à l'appartement, m'a tout expliqué et on peut le joindre par téléphone en cas de problème (je n'en ai pas eu), il est très aimable et serviable. J'espère pouvoir revenir au plus tot !!!! Matelas et oreillers trop durs pour moi , mais pour 3 jours ca va ....

• נחמה (10/5): מושלם!!! - הכל היה מושלם בדיוק כמו כל התגובות והתמונות ואפילו יותר: ביקשנו בהזמנה להגיע מוקדם יותר לשים את המזוודות ורודי אישר לנו זאת מיד לאחר ההזמנה, פלורנס חיכתה לנו מוקדם ועשתה לנו צ'ק אין בשעה 12, אין מילים פשוט נהנינו להגיע להניח את הדברים ולהתאושש מוקדם מהטיסה ואחכ לצאת לטייל בנוסף ביום הראשון הרגשנו קצת קריר והיה נראה לנו שהחימום לא עובד( מסתבר כנראה בטעות שהורדנו מעלות בטרמוסטט ולכן לא עבד.. ) התכתבנו עם רודי והוא ענה במיידי ושלח מישהוא מקסים בשם איגנסיו שהגיע בתוך עשרים דקות וסידר ברגע פשוט העלה לנו מעלות - ונתן לנו להרגיש שההסקה מתחממת וגם הסביר לנו איך לשנות חוץ מזה המקום מושלם הוא 3 דקות מבית חבד וגם ממש סמוך למדרחוב מואר ומסעדות כך שבכל שעות היום והלילה נעים להסתובב בלי פחד , ומצד שני זה פינתי כך שלא שומעים רעש או משהוא שמפריע בקיצור מקום לחזור אליו!

• danielle2020 (10/5): Superb location & a great apartment - We lucked out booking this apartment - it was the perfect location for us to stay in Venice - Canareggio - away from the crowds, yet close enough to cafes, bakeries and restaurants. 15 minutes from the main bus/train station and just 10 minutes away from where we caught the ferry to the airport for our flight back home. Venice is highly walkable and we traversed all the areas within the city comfortably from this location in the four days that we were there. Rudi the manager, was extremely genial and helpful - met us at the ferry stop when we arrived and acquainted us with the apartment while giving tips on Venice. The apartment itself was clean, had high ceilings, two large sofas, kitchen and bathroom with a washing machine. It really was a perfect ending to our vacation! Mattress was a bit hard, but that is a personal preference.

• Dmitry (10/5): Чистая просторная квартира в центре Венеции - Чистая просторная квартира в центре Венеции. Супер-расположение: удобно добираться от/в аэропорт: в 7 минутах ходьбы (с чемоданом) есть пристань Alilaguna и по дороге нет мостов со ступеньками. В 4-х минутах ходьбы – другая пристань на Canal Grande (вапоретто 1 и 2). В 3-х минутах ходьбы продуктовый магазин Despar. В квартире есть стиральная машина и средства для стирки, посудомоечная машина, СВЧ, плита, кофемашина, большой холодильник, соль, сахар, специи, бумажные полотенца и т.д. Нет электрического чайника (но есть обычный со свистком). Два кондиционера – в гостиной и спальне быстро охлаждают квартиру до комфортной температуры. Любезный хозяин встретил нас по дороге и помог поднять вещи на этаж (а это было не просто). В день выезда разрешил оставить вещи до 16 часов, т.к. следующие клиенты заселялись ближе к вечеру. Приходится заново подключать телефон к интернету после каждого выхода из дома. Квартира имеет собственный вход, но расположена на втором этаже, поэтому приходится поднимать и спускать чемоданы по узкой лестнице. Мусор в Венеции собирают специальные службы, которые звонят вам в дверь в 9 утра, чтобы вы вынесли мусор. В нашем случае звонок не работал, поэтому мы с ними так и не встретились – хорошо, что места для мусорных пакетов под раковиной оказалось достаточно много.
• Irina (10/5): - 1. Удобное расположение, от вокзала можно дойти пешком, минут 10-15, до аэропорта 30 минут на водном транспорте, до остановки Guglie минут 7. 2. Апартаменты очень уютные, чистые, светлые, просторные. Кухня имеет все необходимое для приготовления пищи, сковороды, кострюли, чайник, кофеварка,Плита газовая. Кондиционер хорошо работает. Спальня имеет большую кровать, матрас для нас был удобным, не слишком жестким, и не слишком мягким. В спальне есть большой диван, шкаф для книг, письменный стол, большой шкаф для одежды , утюг. Кондиционер в спальне также хорошо работает. Ванная комната с большой удобной душевой кабиной, есть стиральная машина. Напор воды в душевой достаточно хорош, не было проблем с горячей водой. Все очень чисто, комфортно. Квартира красивая, с большими окнами, изо окна красивый вид на улицу. Входная дверь на первом этаже, но в квартиру нужно немного подняться по лестнице. Руди нас встретил на вокзале, заселение было легким. Понравилось все! Мы бы остановились еще раз в этих апартаментах!

Rooms were bigger than I expected and had everything we could need. The host was so wonderful as well, he met us at the train station and even insisted on carrying my bag to the apartment! The kitchen and washing machine were greatly appreciated. Even though the flat was centrally located, it was quiet at night, and I slept very well. I liked the extra comfort of a sofa with reading lamps. The toaster didn’t work.

• Josie (10/5): A beautiful apartment in the heart of Canareggio - The location of the apartment is amazing, away from the very busy tourist area near lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Rudi welcomed us at the vaporetto stop and carried our bags, then showed us the apartment and the local area. The apartment is very clean, comfy and the perfect size for a couple. The apartment is just over a bridge from the Fondamenta dei Ormesini which has bars, cafes and restaurants (and gelato!). It is also very near the vaporetto stop for the airport and Murano, and only a 15 minute walk to the station.

This location makes it perfect to get around but does mean that there is a bit of noise. One if our days there was a Saturday when the street became very noisy until late. However on the other days it was definitely better. The apartment is a good size and our host was extremely helpful, meeting us at the station, explaining everything and walking us to the apartment.

• Eva (7/5): Nice appartment with Venetian ambience - It's a nice appartment in a bustling and authentic area of Venice. The location is really great, only 10 min walk from the train station and you can easily make your way on foot towards the Rialto Bridge and San Marco. Also the vaporetto stop 'San Marcuola' is very close. I stayed at the appartment for 1 week on a work exchange, and there's everything one needs to be comfortable. The owner Rudi met me on the day of arrival and explained everything. Some minor things could be improved: - the floors are very slippery (maybe because of the cleaning/polishing liquid used, but I think there should be a warning about this in the description, I almost slipped and fell a couple of times) - the cleaning is done mostly for the eye, so if you look more closely, especially at edges and corners, there's still dust or dirt that probably hasn't been wiped off for some time (the place could do with a thourough cleaning from top to bottom at least every couple of months) - the handles of two of the windows were loose, especially one, and the old windows themselves easily got stuck a bit, so each time I had to use some force to open or close them, I was afraid the handles would come off - the kitchen equipment has a "used" feel to it, some of the plates and cutlery also wasn't entirely clean, so I just cleaned everything before using it to be on the safe side. All these issues are minor, but together they added up to the sense that the appartment has probably seen better days. Also, while Rudi was friendly and replied promptly before and during my stay at Ca Malia, I still haven't received the official invoice I asked for after my stay (that was 2-3 weeks ago now), which is a bit disappointing. All in all, my stay at Ca Malia was alright, but next time I'd look for another appartment in Venice :)
• Steven (10/5): Comfortable flat in a perfect location. - Review of Ca Malia Just back from Ca Malia in Canarregio, Venice. We had a fantastic holiday. This flat is in a perfect location, quiet at night and close to the main streets for restaurants and shopping. It is also within walking distance of 3/4 Vaporetto stops and Santa Lucia Railway Terminal and Water Taxi dock. It is also close to the Traghetto station at St Sofia so you can traverse the Canal Grande quickly for €2 per person. The flat is spacious, very clean and tidy and has air conditioning. The bed is big and firm and the shower is excellent. The flat is very comfortable and secure. A small safe is provided for use. Rudi arranged for Ignazio to meet and greet us at Guglie and he helped us with our luggage. Rudi came by to introduce himself and welcome us to the flat. He was very friendly and answered all questions. I must say the welcoming and communications with Rudi and Ignazio were excellent. I highly recommend this rental in Canarregio.

• Loris (10/5): Absolute gem in a great area of Venice. - Cold A/C even when it was 100 (38) degrees outside. Great location near the San Marcuola vaporetto stop — it’s one of the only stops that the #2 vaporetto stops at so you zip down the Grand Canal quicker and it’s less packed. Also, it’s just south of the amazing restaurant and bar area Misericorderia. Fortunately the windows are so noise resistant that you don’t hear anything once they’re closed. Great grocery store in the old Teatro Italia around the corner, plus a great vegetable and fruit stand about 20 steps from the apt. Huge living area and desk. Very bright inside. Huge bathroom with a two person shower. Good washing machine. Fully stocked kitchen. I travel to Venice quite a bit and this is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed in. It’ll be my go-to apartment unless I need to stay closer to San Marco. It felt like a someone’s home — no Ikea here. Oh and the woman who met me for the keys was an absolute gem!! Nothing wrong with this place at all.

• Ruta (10/5): Stylish apartment, super host, great location (not far from attractions, not crowded street). - The host will meet you and give you essential information on everything: how to navigate the city, where to eat, and similar. Very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. If you open the windows - you feel the city; if you close the windows - rooms are perfectly silent. The apartment is sparkling clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the shower is hot and strong. Bed and mattress - very comfortable. Art and traditional art details are really inspiring. Highly recommended for families and small groups. All was fine!

Shops and restaurants with in 1min walk and also not to noisy considered location. Good communication and advice from the owner. Definitely recommend and would come back! Iron didn't work.
