Tristan (10/5): Un logement idéal ! - Une des meilleures expériences de logement ! Il est idéalement situé au cœur d'un quartier actif de Naples, mais il offre un vrai havre de paix. Il est parfaitement équipé (terrasse partagée, cuisine équipée partagée, climatisation, télévision, WiFi...). Tout est propre et confortable. Les hôtes sont très gentils et réactifs. Je recommande sans hésiter !
Finn (9/5): An ideal location to enjoy the heart of Naples. - Sofiya was a great host. It was easy to arrange a late check in and she was very informative about the B&B and local area. The room was really nice and clean and had everything I personally needed. Everything about the stay was great and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to see the real Naples. Plus the terrace was fantastic. The only thing would be maybe having a better coffee machine available and also adding some more food and utensils to the kitchen, otherwise everything was perfect. I ended up eating out the entire time anyway but it would have been nice to have some pastries, fruit and good coffee available. Otherwise, everything was perfect for me.

Thomas (8/5): Very good - Nice room, location, staff, the service e.g. could do laundry, nice room The locking systems of the doors do not work very well. From my room I had, if the door is was not closed hard enough it would not lock and anyone would be able to enter.
Neth (10/5): Had a wonderful stay - My room was super clean and cozy. It had a nice view and access to the metro was right across the street. Sofia and Luca were easy to get in touch with and they were really nice.
Costanza (10/5): Perfect - The place was tasteful and had everything we needed; the terrace was amazing; unique location; the host, Sofiya, couldn't be more helpful and lovely. I would go back in the blink of an eye! There was nothing that I didn't like; I would just consider any accessibility needs if booking, as the place is an attic and might not be suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
Davies (9/5): A fabulous stay in a great location hosted by lovely people :) - The room was beautiful, the location great as easy to get to and right in the centre of the Spanish quarter. I loved the patio area too - beautiful view from there. Sofia my host couldn’t have been more helpful, she was so lovely and I really appreciated her quick responses and allowing me to chill out on the patio after check out, and leave my bags there before catching my flight. I never felt rushed and I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend! The main shower head was a bit faulty but I managed with the hand held one. It is a noisy area (with lots of children lapping the square on motorbikes) but Sofia had already provided earplugs if I needed, and it didn’t really bother me.
Goran (10/5): Exceptional - Location is perfect, it is in the middle of the real Naples where you can feel Napolitano style of life. Metro station is across of the apartment (didnt use) if you need it. The perfect Neapolitan coffee in the same building (recommendation for the coffee). Apartment is perfect for the couple, very clean and equipped with small but very nice terrace for breakfast and coffee. On the top of the building you can find fully equipped kitchen and terrace as well. The host very nice and cooperative at your disposal while stay. there is period of the day when water pressure is not very good for the shower, but not something to be complained.

Romank90cz (10/5): Absolute amazement !!! - I have to admit that this accommodation was "wow". Even before my arrival, I was in active contact with the owners of the accommodation, who were really helpful and incredibly kind. After arriving at the place of accommodation, I was a little confused, because for the "non-locals" the local streets looks the same. But I was in contact with Sofiya and when I said I already arrived, her father arrived within 5 minutes to accommodate me. The accommodation itself went smoothly, I was given all the necessary information, the owner showed me around the accommodation and handed me the card. The accommodation itself exceeded my expectations. It was honestly on a "much better" level than some three or four star hotels room I've been to. Really !!!. The room was beautifully styled, the bathroom was luxurious. The view on the terrace was the nicest, with a wonderful view of the Certosa e Museo di San Martino Napoli. The location of the building was within walking distance of the subway (less than a 5-8 minute's walk = you go down a narrow alley and you are at the subway :-) ). Another subway itself is right in front of the exit of the building (but I didn't try it). In the vicinity there are wonderful cafes and restaurants, stylized in a typical Italian romance. The surroundings around BB were noisier (but I didn't mind that :-) ). ...............................................................................

Ella (10/5): Incredible view, perfect location. - I had a wonderful stay with my 2 months old baby. It was cozy and homey. The view on the terrace was incredible. I was allowed to use the washing machine and hang out the clothes at the terrace. The host was always replying fast. And there was always room for small talk with other guests. Plus they provided fruits in the kitchen and had a coffee machine. Perfect for a week long stay.

Lori (9/5): I am happy with my stay and recommend it for solo travelers - It was clean and in a good location but it was difficult to get a taxi to pick up there. My driver from the airport couldn’t get there either. The owner was very kind and ordered me a cab when I was leaving. Without her connections I am not sure how I would have gotten out of there. Shared kitchen/lounge area was sometimes noisy at night.
Martina (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable apartment, kitchen equiped with everything you could need, lovely terrace overlooking a town . Host very nice and helpful. It was situated in the heart if the city in a bussy area, with windows closed you coud not hear anything. Air conditioning was working nice, was very silent, we could have it on during night wirhout disturbing us. I highly recomend. And the entrance to the metro station is just right in from the house, this entrance is very calm, no busy crowd. Nothing.

A B&B in the middle of the lively Spanish district of Naples, full of narrow and picturesque, cozy and uphill streets. The view from the apartments and the roof terrace of Mansarda Valú is beautiful and spacious, because the building is located on a beautiful square on the slopes of Montecalvario. The sight of the steep part of the slope to the higher part of Naples is enchanting. The apartments are extremely tastefully and comfortably furnished.

A complete kitchen and a lot of space everywhere. There is even a nice terrace you can use. Very, very gentle host. Highly recommended! On some nights you will hear music from the loctions nearby through the night.
Claude (8/5): Very good - - Absolutely charming hosts: it's more than just friendliness, it's like often the small details, which make the difference, for ex. : This is the first B&B I ever stayed, where they provide earplugs, because of the noisy neighborhood; - neighborhood: even if noisy, a very good location, in the heart of the famous spanish quarter; - of they don't provide breakfast, there is coffee and Biskuits (and Nutella!!! ), to get your day started; - of course : the rooftop terrace with a view 2 minor things : -Bed is very hard, but that's definitely better than too soft -The room was pretty cold (this was march), but I suppose in Summer this would be a big plus

Elevator is available to the 3rd floor so only have to walk and pack luggage up the stairs for one floor. Sophia was incredibly kind and there to great us and explain our stay as soon as we arrived.

William (8/5): Perfect place as a base, and for party goers. - Fantastic little get away, lovely private relaxing garden up on roof, only 3 rooms on this floor so amble room for all. Well the loudness of the music was a bit much and made it hard to sleep or stay asleep, it goes on till early morning, but, if this is what you came for, you couldn’t find a better place

ENGLISH The apartment has three rooms with ensuite bathroom and a common terrace with a great view. Non é una struttura per chi vuole una camera tranquilla e accettabilmente silenziosa. Attenzione alle reviews: molte segnalano la rumorosità. In camera ho trovato dei tappi per orecchie che mi hanno fatto intuire la possibile rumorosità della notte. Certo non mi aspettavo che per rumorosità si intendesse musica ad altissimo volume dalla sottostante via fino alle tre di notte. Ho messo quindi i tappi; impossibile dormire. Così il giorno dopo ho contattato il proprietario che cortesemente mi ha scritto 'Abbiamo fatto numerose segnalazioni al comune di Napoli, alla polizia, ai carabinieri ed alla municipale, ma ahimè senza risultato.' Ha anche aggiunto che hanno cambiato tutti i serramenti per migliorare l'isolamento ma - prova ne sono i tappi - con nessun risultato. Questo testimonia che il proprietario é perfettamente a conoscenza del problema della sua struttura. La seconda notte ho dovuto chiamare la Polizia per segnalare la rumorosità. Ho quindi chiesto la restituzione della somma delle notti mancanti e che mi fosse fornita un'altra struttura a sue spese, poiché prenotando sottodata, avrei ovviamente avuto prezzi molto alti e fuori dal centro. Il proprietario prima ha detto che mi avrebbe restituito le notti mancanti (ammettendo quindi che esisteva un problema), ma che avrei dovuto prenotarmi io una struttura. Poi ha cambiato idea con queste parole: 'Le ho scritto ieri sera che le avrei rimborsato le notti restanti se fosse andato via. Ma adesso non farò neanche più quello. Il problema è suo e solo e Soltanto suo. Nessun'altro si è lamentato perciò metta tappi e cuffie se non riesce a dormire.' Questo é FALSO poiché ci sono moltissime che lamentano la rumorosità. A voi giudicare se soggiornare in un posto dove la notte non si dorme e con un proprietario che gestisce così il problema e la clientela. Tengo a dire che questa é la prima recensione negativa che faccio dopo 15 anni di Booking. ENGLISH.
Yahel (10/5): Wonderful B&B in Napoli - Sophia and Luca are a charming couple with a charming B&B. The Capri room was impeccably designed and very clean. Everything was well thought out and comfortable. The location is also excellent. There was a loud event in the Piazza the night I was staying, but the music stopped before the rest hours. The elevator reaches the 4th floor, but there are some more steps before the apartment. That, combined with the rather steep incline to get to the B&B from the Toledo station, could be problematic for someone with a mobility impairment.

Kamaljeet (9/5): Great location, clean apartments, lovely terrace = great stay 😊 - Location is great, walking distance to shops, restaurants, sights etc. It’s also spacious & clean The building & neighbourhood itself is quite run down but the Mansarda apartments are lovely in comparison
Subha (8/5): vibrant location, gorgeous terrace, lovely room - small problems with shower flooding & coffee machi - The location was great. The terrace is gorgeous. My room had a tall French window with a view of rooftops and Vomero hills. It was a lovely room. Lucya met me to hand over keys and was very friendly and helpful. I got lost as the directions were not very clear but I suspect that is a phone/language issue, no-one's fault. Once I got there, it was all fine. The coffee machine did not work. There were no coffee capsules. I found some sachets but when put in they produced a pale liquid. There was no breakfast, which I did not mind as it is very centrally located. But I had really wanted to sit and read in the terrace (the main attraction of the b&b), but without a coffee I couldn't function so I went out. The plumbing is tricky. One shower and the bathroom as well as part of the room (the bit outside the bathroom) was flooded. This surprised me. But as I was just there for one night, I didn't want to fuss. I put a towel outside the bathroom so that the room wasn't too wet. The wifi in my room was touch and go.
Marcela (9/5): Amazing - The location is amazing, in the one of most warmer and agitated neighbourhood. You are going to be able to enjoy the life of Napoli, enjoy the astonish view and enjoy the amazing food around the place with a lot of superb restaurants. The host is amazing and very friendly and Irene was very helpful and caring. I do not have anything to complain about it. It was an priceless stay and you can experience the vivid life of Napoli.
Joseph (6/5): Napoli is great. - Spanish Quarter is a fantastic slice of genuine Napoli. Great to be in the heart of it. Don’t know why it’s called a ‘B&B’. One B would be appropriate. No offer of Breakfast whatsoever despite it being ‘available’ between 8-11. Also, unclear what the check out time is. Booking.com says 10. Instructions from host says 11. Resulted in rude interaction with cleaner.

Michael (4/5): LOVELY ROOMS IN GOOD LOCATION - BUT NOT 'APARTMENTS' - TERRIBLE COMMUNICATIONS FROM OWNER - The rooms are beautifully designed and spacious and the terrace was lovely. The lady who looks after the place (not the owner's wife) was very helpful. The location is great. On arrival (after an 8 hour journey on a very hot day) I was stuck outside the property for 40 minutes in scorching heat with my cases. I had notified arrival time and expected to be met. I buzzed the property repeatedly - no reply . I emailed and messaged via booking.com - no reply. Eventually another resident of the block let me in where I waited another 15 mins until another resident contacted the owner at which stage his wife came down to meet me. There was no apology - she said that they don't always check their booking.com messages or emails and had been working in a part of the block where they could not hear the buzzer. she said I should have phoned on arrival but they never asked me to do that and in any case I did not have their number in my phone and my battery was on about 3%/ I found the lack of an apology as annoying as being left outside.. Was then bombarded with information which should have been given in writing (codes for the door, wifi_etc. Messages I sent later asking for a reminder of wifi code were ignored. Communications generally were extremely poor. Another big issue is the way the properties descriptions. They do give the impression that they are self contained apartments but the kitchen and terrace are shared. This is not actually mentioned in listing info or at least you have to look very very hard. To my mind these are not apartments but very nice and large en suite rooms with shared kitchen and terrace and should be described as such. There is considerable noise from nightclub directly across from terrace but I di not find this very annoying ...with earplugs it was not a problem to sleep. Smart TV would be good as Italian TV is dreadful but it is was good to get out of the netflix habit Breakfast - I am not a big breakfast person but there was no breakfast. There was free espresso from the great machine and pan tostado but I did not see any fruit, yoghurt etc.

Liana (7/5): Good - Irina was so kind and always available to help! The room was clean and had a nice bathroom. Personally, the Spanish Quarter area was just not for me. Although it was close to everything, it felt noisy, chaotic, and unsafe.

Ioana (9/5): Superb - Great location, clean, comfortable room, beautiful terrace. The cleaning lady that comes in the morning was so sweet, she gave a lot of good advice for our day trips. Most of the attractions are in walking distace and you also have access to the subway, bus and taxi extremely close to the apartment. Very impersonal. Usually, even when I haven't met the owners of the place I stayed in, I still felt welcomed wether it was by a note, a little treat or an ittineray suggestion. Anyway, probably doesn't matter for many people.
Dragos (3/5): Nice place ruined by rude host (manager). - Excellent view from the terrace to be enjoyed with a drink in the evening or in the morning during breakfast. And we loved Irene (from Ukraine), the lady that was making us the breakfast. No privacy, rude host and extremely noisy hood. On my second day I had to work so I stayed in the house. To my surprise I noticed that people from a different property that were sharing the same terrace with us kept entering our kitchen for various reasons, like using the fridge, getting fruits and whatever. I wrote to my host if this is normal and if maybe they are the owners of the house. To which the host (property manager?) replayed that they are the owners and can do whatever they like and if I need silence I should go to the public library. I said it's ok if they are the owners but I should have been warned before. To which he replayed the Italian law allows it so he has no obligation to warn us of anything. Well, I beg to differ, as far as I pay a lot of money for a place to stay, I should be warned that people can enter without a notice, because it is my privacy. So people that care about privacy should be warned. Other than this, the streets surrounding the property are extremely noisy even during late night/morning. I knew about it but still it was beyond loud.

Laura (4/5): Disappointing, would not recommend - Property was clean, and central Unfortunately, it is far too loud near the apartment - there is a club under the terrace which makes it unpleasant to sit on in the evening, with music on late which can be heard in the rooms until very late (2-3am). The lift charges 20 cents to use, and doesn’t always work (it eats your money), so you may have to carry your luggage up four flights. The breakfast / coffee in the morning are also not great - limited choice, with cold coffee.
Metlitskaia (8/5): Overall, not bad - Nice view. I think, it's the best variant in the Naples Breakfast without cheese or meat, only eggs and croissants We lived in middle room (forgot the name). There are no curtains on windows, so we met sunrise at 6 a.m. It is very noisy on the morning
Jemma (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the property, in the Spanish quarter was great- within walking distance of most places. The rooms were clean, the view from the terrace is superb. Anna is very friendly and a great host. Nothing is too much trouble for her. I would definitely recommend this lovely B&B.
Rehana (10/5): Excellent; would use again if I returned to Naples. - Anna was quite amazing; she really looked after me and was incredibly kind. When I was too cold; she made sure the heating was turned up and breakfast was lovely every morning. She helped me with how to get to Pompeii and Herculaneum. All in all a great trip.
