I thought it would be super loud due to the crowds, but the windows kept out the majority of the noise. The apartment itself was elegant and beautiful. And the hosts were very responsive and helpful.

• Jing (5/5): Best for location but nothing else... - Location Bedroom and kitchen were okay and spacious but most disappointing was the state of the bathroom. Apart from the shower cubicle that is tiny, there is no enclosure on the side where the water from the shower is facing causing excessive water on the floor and you can just imagine how wet the floor towels get after every bath for 5 guests. The fixtures are obviously of very low quality---cannot adjust height of shower rail, the standing shelf was littered in spots of rust, texture of shower gel was almost paste like. Didn't bother to try shampoo/conditioner. I appreciate that there is not much that can be done with the "sewage" smell common in old buildings but fixtures and amenities can be greatly improved. We have to leave the window next to the toilet, open all day so the odour is not as strong when we come back at night. We booked for 5 guests so the 5th one was on a sofa bed. However, there was no extra duvet or blanket. I found something in one of the bedroom cabinets but it was more like a curtain rather than a blanket which I have to make do during a 3-night stay. Whilst there were extra pillows, no cover was found. The side panel of the double bed (more like a sofa bed, quite huge though) was so dirty. And lastly, we have to empty the bin ourselves. To be fair, there was a note in the kitchen asking guests politely but we felt that this should not be the case as cleaning up should already have been part of the cost. And carrying a black bag down 2 flight of stairs in the middle of a very busy neighbourhood at the end of your stay isn't exactly how you want to remember your holiday.

Place is breathtaking and very quiet when the windows are closed. Air con working perfectly. Coffee machine had to be bleed as it was full of old coffee. Weird and strong, eggy smell in the toilet.

• Daniil (10/5): I highly recommend this apartment for your vacation. - Unbelievable view! Very good interior design. 2 rooms, 3 beds, you can easily fit 4 adults and 2 kids. Very comfortable self check in and check out. In case of any question manager always online. Location is amazing. Nothing. Zero complaints.

• Pinato (2/5): Extremely disappointed - Size of apartment View was covered by scaffolding, our view of the trevi fountain pictures attached, internet wifi was terrible and extremely slow, entire apartment smelled like sewage, smell was unbearable. Contacted them about it and was told it was normal when weather changes due to ancient buildings of Rome. Next apartment we moved to 1 minute walk from there smelled fresh and beautiful. We were here on our honeymoon and as one can imagine, it totatlly ruined what should have been a special and romantic occasion.

You have an endless variety of food options and shopping. You are only blocks away from the Spanish steps and the Pantheon. Check in was easy with clear instructions, felt at home right away once in the apartment. The host was communicative and helpful. The only negative was the ongoing construction of the building, which provided no view of the Trevi Fountain. We still enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you Nothing

I Highly recommend this property!! In Rome the ground floor is 0. So the first floor is actually in American terms the second floor. The apartment is on the second floor in Rome terms but actually on the third floor of the building without an elevator. This was not an issue for us but could be an issue for elderly.

• Bharat (5/5): Passable - location, clean property not worth the price. no elevator, no exhaust in bathroom, no microwave and top of all they want the guests to throw their own trash. they even share google location on where to go out and throw the trash. They ask for all the ID documents a week in advance but will share the self check in information only after 10 AM on the day of check in.

Was worried about the noise at night due to being right next to the fountain, but the windows are very well insulated and block everything out when closed. Host was super easy to communicate with. One of the most memorable stays I’ve had during my travels. There’s some stairs to the second level if you are traveling with lots/heavy luggage, but that’s pretty much anywhere in Europe. Worth it for the views!
