Guest Reviews
- kfarah (8/5): Awesome location. Ideal for 1 person. - Fabulous location with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets very handy. Easy 10 min walk to the Biennale and equally easy to get to San Marco Square. The apartment is pretty basic but clean. The bed accommodates 2 people but the bathroom is very small. There isn't a lot of privacy if you put the lights on without closing the shutters which makes the rooms dark.
Ben connectat... I aprop de San Marco. Tot ha estat bé.
- Ricardo (8/5): - Ubicación y zona tranquila Colchones y sofa mejorables
- Franco (10/5): Perfect appartment in venice - It was perfect for our requirement working at bienalle.
The location was great, with easy access to water transport and the main tourist attractions as well as great restaurants.
The appartment was big enough for two people to stay very comfortably for over 10 days.
The area was very quiet, wifi strength was great.
Washing machine was a big plus and very convenient to have.
The place was clean, warm and had all the essentials for us to cook meals.
We enjoyed the space and recommend it for anyone wanting to have an appaortment rather than a hotel.
- ina (9/5): Buon posto con servizi vicini - Facile da raggiungere
- Markus Thomas (10/5): -
- franco (9/5): - Gentilezza, disponibilità, posizione, tutto come descritto Il divano letto per terzo ospite sarebbe da rinnovare
- Elena Rodica (10/5): -
- Marina (8/5): - The apartment in the home should be clean. The mattress was old, supported by the iron frame.
The air conditioner should be chilled (and the heater should be cold)
- Emese (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, close to resatuorants and shoos. The bedspread was dirty.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and very spacious! Was great to have a washing machine
- Iv (9/5): Superb - Great apartment next to Via Garibaldi and Arsenale. Quite functional and clean, equipped with anything that you might need. Probably the stairs to the apartment might be a problem for someone with mobility issues.
The host Elena is very kind and Fabio that gave us the keys made a great suggestion for a near bar pizza restaurant, the best pizza experience that we've ever had. Via Garibaldi was Napoleon's deed to give modernity and elegance to the city and act as an entrance to Venice. Even today is a vibrant wide street with trattorias, bars and shops, a step away from the crowds.
- Yuki (7/5): Good - In a quiet area, but still walkable to tourist sites like the Doge's Palace, and close to ferry stops, and next to a street with supermarket and good restaurant options. Apartment is in ok condition but bits and pieces feel outdated or can be improved more with tourist stays in mind, like certain wall outlets not working, fridge making wall vibrating noise at night that leaves you no option but to turn it off, toilet door very hard to close properly, sofa bed super old and uncomfortable to sleep on, the toilet with barely any hooks/shelves to place multiple guests' belongings, etc.
- Meri (10/5): Exceptional -
- Soni (9/5): For Venice standards the room was very good. I believe great value for money. - The location is great. It isn't the best room you ever stayed, but taking into account Venice standards and prices, we were very happy. The room was value for money. Beds could be more comfortable. The stairs maybe a bit of a problem for elder peolpe or people with mobility issues. For us it was not a problem.
- Carla (9/5): Nice and comfortable stay in my favorite neighborhood in Venice - The location is great … calm but excellently communicated with the arsenal ferry stop, and 20 mins from San Marco and Rialto ; also next to via garibaldi full of cute restaurants and cafe , not super touristic or crowded but nice and with good taste . The apartment is nice and comfortable, simple but has everything to have a good stay . The ac worked great . The kitchen was well equipped. The host were kind and attentive, they helped a lot . The beds and pillows can be updated . It is a second floor by stairs (very standard in Venice so not a big drama) and the keys are quite tricky.
- Prashant (9/5): Good stay, good location. - The host arranged an agent to pick up from boat station to handover the key and drop at property. Though I have to pay late check in fees of 50 euro.
Quite a big room and super comfortable for 3 people. It has a sofa cum bunk bed, so you may accommodate 4th person.
On the sides of canal and sea.
It is on one of the main streets of Venice, so lots of restaurants on the streets.
It has washing machine. Paid a fees of 50 euro for late check in.
Quite far from boat station, so if you have heavy luggage you need to drag till property as island do not have other means to reach your destination.
- Hubbard (9/5): A very convenient place to stay in Venice! - Fantastic location with tons of food options very close by. The vaparetto (water taxi) is a short walk away, making moving around the city very easy. The kitchen was a great size and decently stocked. My husband is tall (6'1") and the ceilings on the stairways heading up to the property are quite low--he had to always be watching that he didn't bump his head.
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Location was ideal. Clean apartment. Responsive landlord. Unfortunately, AC conked out. Really hot weather and couldn't help mosquitos were around. Landlord was good to provide fans when it was evident AC couldn't be fixed before our stay ended. They authorized a discount for the inconvenience. They really tried to help us.
- Robert (8/5): Very good - The bed, quite hard and very flat pillows.
- Simay (8/5): Venice is so overrated city but this is one the cheapest place you can find - It has everything that you want kitchen full equipped also have towels and hairdryer They take late check in fee 50€ only for 1 hour late
- Belinda (9/5): Superb -
- Leonid (7/5): Good -
- Nigar (4/5): Disappointing - neighborhood, location the apartment I stayed in last week was disappointing. The location provided was incorrect and, despite asking several times, we were only given a map that led us in the wrong direction. The cleanliness of the apartment was also very poor, with dirty floors and walls and a mouldy shower room.
- Ryan (8/5): Everything was great apart from no mosquito control - great location and host there was no mosquito deterrent, it was a nightmare in the evening and night even after having the windows closed, you could benefit from netting or complementary spray
- Jarrell (10/5): We loved our 3 nights here, and having this lovely, clean, well-furnished, and spacious apartment made our stay in Venic - The apartment was spacious and very clean. The furnished kitchen was very helpful and we loved that it had a clothes washing machine! The hostess was very helpful and nice, too. Just a suggestion that the owner include instructions for the washing machine and the coffeemaker in English for those of us who don’t use those kinds.
Very minor things like hand soap only at one of the sinks and only the one roll of toilet paper. You do need to be able to climb some fairly steep steps as it is up one floor. We had no problems though. And there is a grocer just down the street, very conveniently.
- Gabor (9/5): Superb - Excellent locations for visitors of the Biennale. Interesting view along the street and the canal below. Comfortable bed and bath. Some kitchen utensils outdated or missing.
- Deep (9/5): Superb -
