Thank you - - perfect location (close to the old city center, but quiet enough, and there are a lot of shops, cafes, and restaurants) - it was warm, but not very hot - good automation - owners provided a lot of information and were extremely supportive - the apartment is perfectly equipped with all the necessary things - only stairs after штеутышму walk through Florence :)

• Regine (6/5): Einfache Unterkunft - Lage ist gut Die Ausstattung der Küche war zu dürftig. Töpfe und Pfanne in schlechtem Zustand (Beschichtung zerstört unzureichend), um gut zu kochen zu wenig Ausstattung, nur 1 Geschirrhandtuch, zu wenig Handtücher bei 5 Tagen Aufenthalt, das zweite "Schlafzimmer" mit Einzelbett (Pritsche) befindet sich im Flur in einer Nische hinter einer Wand, die nicht an der Decke abschließt, ist oben offen, sodass man in einem offenen Flur schläft. War auf den Fotos nicht ersichtlich, dass die dritte Person ohne jegliche Privatsphäre im Flur schläft.

The host was always available and offered many suggestions on what to do in the city. It was a bit chilly in the apartment, and we used the AC for heating.

• Shanei (7/5): Good location, okay stay - The location is good and size of the apartment is bigger than other places. Had a washer and kitchenette. Uncomfortable beds. Very very small shower. Aircon leaked water into the room. Stairs to the apartment is very narrow and every flight of stairs is a different height. Difficult to get suitcases up. Host was very helpful but quite annoying as she messaged us daily to remind us about stuff like turning off the aircons (we do this anyway). The messages was constant and bothering.
• Peter (9/5): Great location - Piccolo Iris Firenze is a great location to explore the city of Florence. The apartment is clean, tidy and well appointed. It has everything the visitor needs. It is within easy walking distance of the main train station and the famous historic sites of the city. It is situation in a great neighbourhood with a good choice of bars and restaurants. Local shops to get necessities too.The host was very easy to communicate with and provided us with a lot of useful information on the city and the local area. This was much appreciated. Had lots of contact with host before and during the stay. This was very reassuring. The only slight issue was the 3 flights of stairs that had to be climbed to reach the apartment

• Josephine (7/5): Good - The space was good, comfortable beds, well stocked and the washing machine was a great bonus. Host was a great communicator and very helpful, checked in on us. Some more details on 3rd floor location is a must as no elevator. Great air conditioning. Some small improvements. Would have liked a change of towels 3 days of the same was not great especially with the heat showering when we got back and mornings. A clothes horse would have helped to dry clothes as there is no outside space. Stairs were a challenge I have mobility issues, would not suit older people, when booking it didn't say it was on the 3rd floor up steep narrow stairs.

Good cooking facilities meant we could make a nice hot breakfast every day. Piccolo Iris was in a great location for exploring the city, where we were able to walk to all the major attractions in Florence.

Had a washing machine which was great for us as we had a lot of washing to do after 3 week travelling. There was a spare room for our suit cases. Every appliance we may have needed was there..even an iron. It had a lively home away from home feel about it. The stairs to the apartment on 3rd floor are a challenge with suitcases and the stairs are quite dark in places.

• Olha (4/5): Disappointing - Close to city center. The apartment was dirty: dirty floor, toilet, shower (mold, hair in the shower). The dishes were dirty: greasy plates, brown tea stains on the cups. The Internet was bad, 360kbps video stuck. The shower was broken: the sprayer broke and water was just flowing from the pipe. There was a leak under the sink in the bathroom, there was a basin under the sink to collect the water. I reported about the shower and the owner offered to fix it, but I asked to do it after we checked out. I was not going to write a review, but the owner of the apartment started threatening me after I have checked out that he would contact the police if I did not sign the contract. He claims that I should not have entered the apartment without signing the contract, and that he has already reported to Booking that I violated the rules of residence. Although the contract says that I must accept the apartment with handing over of the keys and then be responsible if something breaks in the apartment. I used Booking services many times and this is the first time I got such terrible service.

• Maria (9/5): Charming place to stay in Florence - It’s well located, you can go walking everywhere. There are many restaurants nearby as well. Ilaria is a great host. He gave us many recommendations and always responded quickly to messages for what we needed. The stairs are a bit narrow to carry luggage but overall I don’t think it’s a big deal.
• Sebastian (8/5): Apartment with all you need close to Florence city center - - great location, walking distance of 15 min max to all main attractions - clean and very well equipped apartment - very comfy beds - communication with owner was easy, quick and perfect. Moreover, lots of Tipps given to make the stay in Florence even better not a critic, but something to be aware off: - apartment is within ZTL (limited traffic zone), so you can not drive to the apartment with the car, even to unload the luggage - apartment is in 3rd floor and steps are really small, so bring as little luggage as possible 😉
• Bárbara (8/5): Big apartment great location - The appartement is big, has everything if you need to cook . Even if we did not meet the host they're very nice send lots of places to eat and visit. Let us do check in bit earlier. Location is good ! 3rd floor with baby is bit much the stairs are very small. The bed was not that confortable and its two singles beds together, don't like it because everytime you move there's a hole in the midle. They should as well put a cover for the matress, double cover is better.

The apartment itself is quite nice, located in a 3rd floor. It has a washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge and all you may need for a short stay.

The location is perfect, walking distance to all the main attractions and in a great area with lots of good restaurants and gelato shops. Ilaria was an excellent host and gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit which was really helpful! We would have liked soap to be provided in the bathroom.
• T (9/5): Fantastic apartment with all facilities. No elevator - be aware of 3 flights of stairs. - We stayed for 5 days. Very responsive host, great recommendations of sites/restaurants/attractions in Florence and surrounding region. Felt very welcomed and comfortable in the apartment. Had everything we needed for our stay - washing machine was a bonus. Climbed 3 flights of stairs to the apartment on the third floor were a challenge as we had heavy suitcases and the staircase is quite narrow. We visited in winter and felt the apartment was difficult to keep warm at night due to gas heating system, would have preferred access to electric/AC - but there were extra blankets available.

• Aliento (9/5): Thank you for being such a great host. We had a comfortable short stay in this apartment. - The place is very comfortable. It has more than the basic need of tenants. The hosts are very helpful and easy to contact. Available to answer queries anytime. He even offered to book us a taxi we need upon check out. I very appreciate that help. No elevator and its on the 3rd floor :). But since it is an old building, its is understandable. It is just to consider for guests with heavy luggage and with elders.

• Andrei (4/5): Bad experience with the property. Definitely do not recommend. Rude host. Lack of cleanliness. - The only thing about this accomodation was the location. Overall, the experience with this property was very disappointing. Bad communication from the host. I was very surprised when he asked for our documents several times even though we had sent them through the Booking app. He claimed that the documents should also be sent on Whatsapp, disregarding the confidentiality of personal data and implicitly GDPR. I was also shocked by the fact that he insisted on requesting copies of the passports of all people (3 in total) even though only two of us had passports and one a national identity card (where I want to mention that it is accepted throughout the whole European Union, Romania being part of the EU bloc like Italy). It seemed to me an absurd situation. I could also note a lack of cleanliness at the accommodation, with dirt and dust on the floor. The pillows and duvets had no bedding and had clear signs of wear (yellow stains). Another problem was the heat; we had 2/3 hours in the evening and 2/3 hours in the morning (on a low to medium level). I do not recommend this accommodation because of what I mentioned above.

• Julian (8/5): Very good - The closeness of the apartment to everything else. You have practically everything at a walking distance of 5 minutes, from reataurants to bars and supermarkets. And i mean great bars and restaurants, you have a michelin rated restaurant 15 m from the apartment. Hot water all the time, everything you needed to prepare a meal in the apartment if you wanted. The kindness of the owners There wasnt anything in particular. The apartment was clean enough, but there were minor issues that indicated that the cleaning of the apartment was done in a hurry or not done properly. One example beeing the dining table surface was sort of sticky as someone spillet smth over it. The owner said it was the natural effect of the wood lacquer used and that the stickiness was intended. Never heard of this kind of lacquer, but anyway the dining table was very dirty, so the stickiness is one more reason to clean it thoroughly. Everything else is rightfully mentioned in the app. Description or represented in the pictures, so i don't see the reason for complaining about it. It was one of cheaper, cozier and mos central locations you could find in Florence for december and probably for thebrest of the year.
