• Pia (10/5): Eine sehr schicke, saubere und gemütliche Wohnung. Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt. - Die Wohnung ist super schön eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Die Betten waren toll, sehr bequem. Corinne war jederzeit erreichbar und hat alle Fragen sehr schnell beantwortet. Die Lage war außergewöhnlich gut, wir konnten alles schnell erreichen und trotzdem ist sie sehr ruhig gelegen. Bis zum Markusplatz sind es zu Fuß 15 Minuten. Zwei Vaporetto-Haltestellen sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, auch ein Supermarkt. Wir haben auch gekocht, in der Küche war alles notwendige vorhanden. Außerdem ist das nette Viertel Dorsoduro um die Ecke. Wir haben die Wohnung zu viert mit unseren zwei Kindern (12 und 15) bewohnt und es alle toll gefunden. Mit kleinen Kindern muss man vielleicht wegen der offenen Treppe vorsichtig sein. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen. Sie hat unseren wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Venedig sehr angenehm gemacht. Alles war perfekt.

Apartment MANSARDINA - 1 minute from Accademia exceeded our expectations. It has an excellent location just a few steps from the Accademia and Zattere stops, in a quiet yet very central part of Venice, from where everything is easily accessible on foot and by vaporetto. The apartment is very spacious – two bedrooms, living room with dining room, kitchen, bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet and another separate toilet. Ideal for a family. Everything was very clean, functional and corresponded to the photos on Booking. We were pleased that the apartment really had everything we needed, including towels, bed linen, kitchen equipment, tea, salt and cleaning and dishwashing detergents. The apartment is also well heated, so it is suitable even outside the summer season. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful antique chest of drawers, which looked like a museum piece, as well as the well-chosen literature about Venetian and Italian artists. The only "exercise" is climbing to the 3rd floor, but the reward is a beautiful attic apartment with several romantic views of the Venetian alleys and the roofs of the surrounding houses. One of the most beautiful views is even from the shower, so you can enjoy not only the bath, but also the atmosphere as if from a postcard. The common areas are clean and the entire house is well maintained. We also really appreciated the atmosphere of the apartment, as well as the extremely helpful owner Corinne, who takes great care not only of the Mansarda apartment, but also of her guests. She provided a pdf to provide google directions, descriptions, links and pictures, from any possible place you could arrive in Venice which was fantastic. This apartment is on a side of Venice we had not visited. It was just as nice with great food selections and drink locations, and very quiet ar night. Everything is walkable, but there are two boat taxi locations(docks) with 4 minutes of the apartment. So when everyone is getting of the buses and trains and trying to get somewhere, you jump on water taxi #2 or #5.2 and go. We need three trash cans for the recycle, plastics, glass and cardboard/paper. A cleaning team for the common area, entrance and stairwells getting to the apartment if possible. Lots of junk and Debra was dropped at the door entrance that you have to negotiate. Other folks probably, but trip over clutter. Stairwells hand rails are loose. Inside the apartment was super clean.

• Carole (6/5): Great location, inexpensive but the description doesn’t reality. - Great location. Easy to find and access. Description said the apartment has 2 bathrooms but they’re only one bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. The second « bathroom » had one toilet that didn’t flush properly and a sink. The description should « one and a half bathroom ». The twin beds were uncomfortable and made for kids, not adults. Overall, it is not a suitable place for 4 adults, but better suited for a couple with two pre-teen kids. The stairs are too open and dangerous for small children.

Property manager was great and went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our Saturday. She even booked a gondola trip for us with Christiano, a very funny and knowledgeable gondolier. Having two toilets was a bonus and roof top views were excellent. Nothing really. This didn’t impact us but some may struggle with stairs and suitcases…but being on the top floor gets you views!

It is situated in a quieter neighborhood of Venice, but close to waterway transit and easy walking distance to all the attractions. We loved the property and its location and would definitely rebook if we came back to Venice in the future. Our just, Corinne, was so kind and constantly accessible if we had questions or concerns. The apartment was perfect, so no negatives at all.

• Hilary (10/5): - Fantastic clean modern apartment, ideal for a busy day sight seeing the narrow old streets of Venice. Extremely clean, and well stocked. Excellent communication from host, on-call for any queries and tips of the city, and excellent pre-arrival information. We would.highky recommend this apartment in Venice. Only problem is lots of steps but our kids just about managed it (age 7 and 9). Very warm for a heat wave too, but plenty of fans and window shutters provided.

Flexible hosts that helped with storing the luggage. The temperatures can get high even with a portable air condition.

The apartment is located in a very strategic place right next to Academia, 20 min away from San Marco. Supermarkets, restaurants and pizza spots on walking distance. Our host was always responding quickly and being extremely nice to us, thanks to her we had a super smooth and pleasant stay! Everything was perfect.

There were few cooking and dish washing support which helped a lot. The host was very reactive on whatsapp. Quite a lot of mosquitos so a net would be recommended, but we managed to sleep very well (windows closed). Cleanless can be improved, not terrible but not above standards. (quite a bit of smell in the house) - Sofa and curtains not very fresh.

• Fredericka (10/5): We had 3 perfect days in Venice and Mansardina was the ideal place. - Best location ever! Easy access to Accademia Bridge/Water Bus Stop. Quiet neighborhood, cafes and bodegas near by. Key lockboxes are convenient. The space is very roomy for 3 adults. I think the description of the flat should include the 50 steps/5 flights of stairs up to it. The last flight is very steep.
• Manubrand (10/5): Nice apartment in a good location - The apartment is in a good location to explore Venice and the art venues and what the rest of the city has to offer. It's also quiet at night and we could sleep very well. The host Corinne privides loads of information and the cleaning lady was also very nice and helpful. The self check in and check out are very easy to do the apartment felt spacious and it was well equipped. Very enjoyable stay, I would recommend this apartment and I hope to come back. When we arrived at 12.30 pm as the host was informed beforehand, the cleaning lady was not yet cleaning the apartment which meant we couldn't rest from our trip or have a shower. We could leave the bags but we couldn't use the apartment until after 2pm. The matresses were a little uncomfortable for our liking. The 10 euro charge for leaving bags after checking out behind a door on the ground floor of the building without any locks and unattended it's overpriced.

• Lucy (10/5): Highly recommend! - Beautiful, stylish apartment in a fantastic location. Quiet at night, but very well located within Venice. Our host Corinne was extremely responsive and caring. We enjoyed use of the well-provisioned kitchen to 'eat in' some of the time, and appreciated the coffee very much! In the cooler temperatures of our stay (high teens/lower twenties) the apartment kept its cool well without having to use the extractor units/fans much. As with everywhere, mosquitos came in if we had the window open. This isn't a fault of the property or host but was the only downside at the start of our stay. Fortunately it was cool enough to keep the windows shut after that but do beware.

• Daria (8/5): Great location and view, friendly host, too hot for summer - Great location, stylish apartment with everything you may need, the best view, detailed instructions and a really friendly attitude from the host, self check-in. We would love to come back to this place, maybe not in summer though. It was really hot at that time of year and one air-conditioner with fans wasn't enough for a two floor apartment in July. One night we couldn't sleep because of the heat. There were stains on the linen (2nd floor), a not really comfy bed and dust on the towel dryer in the 1 floor bathroom and around the house in some places. Also, it's a historical building with no lift, so you know (it wasn't a problem for us though).

She helped us book a Gondola ride and provided lots of great and helpful information about the city! The place was also very spacious, cute, and clean. I think it would have been helpful to be able to leave our bags there after check out without the extra 10 euro fee because checkout was at 10 am (comparably pretty early). But every other aspect of the stay itself was great!

• Emma (9/5): Location location location - This apartment is in a fantastic location, all the main sites are within walking distance and there are several Vaporetto stops a few minutes away. We loved the positioning. The living/dining area is large, bright and comfortable. The twin bedroom and main bathroom are a fantastic size too. The host was regularly in touch during our stay and was quick to respond when we needed help. The upstairs double bedroom and toilet were fine for the length of our stay (3 nights), but it's worth noting they are dark and small with low ceilings. Upstairs would actually be perfect for children if the bedroom was a twin. However, the open staircase would be dangerous for little ones so I can see why the host decided against that. Could have been a little bit cleaner. The apartment is on the top floor which may be a struggle if you are unfit. Guess it comes with the territory for a beautiful old traditional building though!

There are gap in air cond and window, which the mosquitos come into.
