• Tom (10/5): Wonderful base in Venice with a brilliant owner - The location and facilities were fantastic. You feel like you are staying in a very cool artsy locals apartment. The instructions and Gigi who met us off the boat to walk us to the apartment was fantastic. The main bedroom bed a bit squeaky. And a little bit obsessed with telling you about putting the bins out. But these are really minor issues and did not deflect from a wonderful stay

• Jane (10/5): Wonderful atmospheric place to stay in Venice - Amazing apartment!! Beautiful old Venetian building and full of character. We were met at the ferry stop by a friend (?) of the host who showed us to the apartment despite it being late (was an additional €60 for a late check in) - he was very kind and helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean, lots of interesting things to look at and very comfortable- also a great kitchen with coffee machine, teabags etc and oil etc if you wanted to cook. Amazing location, less than 5 mins to loads of restaurants and cafes and shops. We loved it! Not the fault of the property but there was loads of mosquitoes- bring insect repellent!

Last but not least, l' accoglienza calorosa e professionale di Christine, che ci ha anche indicato cosa vedere per poter vivere a pieno la magia di Venezia.

Christine a été bienveillante et disponible pour tous les renseignements et informations. Le contact a été organisé et chaleureux. Climatisation dans la chambre parentale et le salon. Rien de particulier si ce n' est un axe d amélioration très bien contrebalancé avec tous les points positifs. Il s agit du bruit du climatiseur de la chambre parentale.

Molt bona ubicació! El tema del reciclatge és complicat. No hi ha contenidors a la cuina de separació de residus. No hi ha paelles ni rentaplats.

• Fran (9/5): - Great customer service from the host with very helpful directions and constant communication to assist with our arrival. Very clean apartment with great facilities. Close walking distance to St Marks square, restaurants, shops and vaparetto. Walking around it was easy to find local supermarkets if needed. We were a family of 5 so ample space & highly recommend.
• Denise (10/5): Wonderful Authentic Location! Recommend! - The apartment is just as described, along the canal. The apartment is very clean, cozy and well maintained. It is exactly as described. It is walking distance to St. Mark's Square. 10- 15 min walk. It's in a great location, near so many things, all walking distance, Accademia, Museums, Basilica, Doge Palace. Very safe location. The walls are painted a deep color of red, which kind of makes it a little dark, or brighter lamps/light fixtures are needed.

Communication was clear and we appreciated all the information and recommendations. I actually had a medical emergency and Paola was so helpful in giving advice on where and how to get help! I would have been lost without her. We would definitely recommend staying here.

• Emily (10/5): A great value in a central location - The communication with the owner was fabulous- he arranged for a late night arrival for us at midnight, which was extremely helpful and kind. The person who met us at the property even came all the way to the vaporetto stop to meet us and guide us through dark winding pathways to the house, and gave us great tips for our stay.

Hosts were excellent and friendly and very helpful for first time visitors. Great facilities, coffee, wi-fi excellent. Great location loved it. would definitely recommend and stay there again. nothing loved the spacious apartment.

The apartment had everything we needed to be a home away from home. Great location. Would book again. The info book didn't explain how to work the washing machine. I eventually worked it out, I think. But instructions for that would have been helpful. Not a huge deal, but just something to note.
• Rebecca (10/5): Incredible experience, absolutely thrilled - I feel like the photos of the place don't do it justice. It is so historic and give a real feel of Venice. The path down the street is absolutely adorable. The views from the windows on 2 sides of the apartment are of a really quiet little canal, the other side has a view over a wall into a busy hostel garden. The location was incredible as it is a 2 minute walk to Ponte dell'Accademia for, in my opinion, THE view in Venice. We hugely appreciated the local contact, who met us at our arrival point in Venice to walk us to the property and was available for us to text/WhatsApp throughout our stay. She was incredibly helpful and absolutely invaluable. For my tastes, the mattresses were a little soft but I think most people would enjoy it. The heating and the air con both worked fine as we had both hot and cold days on our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for a week's visit, with all the usual appliances. We hope to come back to stay again. The bathroom is quite narrow, which wasn't a problem with just two of us, but it might be an issue for a family if they expect to store toiletries in the bathroom. It is beautifully decorated though. It also has a canal smell in there... but the window opens over the canal so that's to be expected and, frankly, part of the experience. It didn't smell bad, just smells like canal. The rest of the apartment smelled fine. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and stable, which is lucky because my phone signal wasn't great in the apartment. The apartment was also a little dark, even with the lights on. Its always tricky to light these older buildings that have lower ceilings etc, but I did find myself wishing that the bulbs were a higher wattage.

I feel like I’ve stepped back in time staying here but this apartment is equipped with all the modern amenities. The owner was very responsive and gave very detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment. Paola who met us at the apartment was also very nice and helpful. Given it was our first time visiting Italy, they both helped put our travel anxiety at ease. We love the location of the apartment and had a great time exploring Vince. The only comment I have is that there was no body soap provided which caught me off guard, so I ended up using my face wash as shower gel.

• Nathan (10/5): Charming apartment in Perfect Location - This place was perfect, so much charm (except for the beautiful clean new WC). The location was unbeatable, just a minute walk to the Academia bridge, not far from San Marco and many ferry stops. Easy to walk everywhere. nice channel views. one bedroom with 3 twins and one bedroom with two twins together as a king. the air conditioning was awesome!!! The kitchen has everything you’d need. You need a key to get OUT of the bottom building door. This seems to me a safety hazard and I was very nervous about getting locked in as we checked out. Check in was fine but I definitely needed my phone and WhatsApp to communicate with Paola. The beds were nice and new but memory foam is not our cup of tea.

Paulo that met us was lovely & helpful. Great bathroom with lovely shower. Kitchen was very well equipped.Would happily recommend. After thinking about it,the only issue was builders working outside the apartment,which won't be impacting people once works are finished.

Beautiful antique furniture and the beds were super comfy. Such a quiet little corner overlooking the canal from every window. Just stunning. Our host was extra helpful, meeting us at the Alilaguna ferry at San Angelo and escorting us to the apartment. She gave us tips on places to go, things to do and see, plus a brilliant list of authentic Venetian restaurants. Between the channels is just so close to everything!

• Justin (9/5): Great apartment, super location - Well located, close to Accademia Bridge with its incredible views over the Grand Canal, and the many shops, bars and Restaurants in the area. The apartment was well furnished, in classic style rather than uber modern - but with all mod cons. Even had views over one of the canals. We needed bags for the recycling (as they are rightfully hot on this in Venice) and more toilet paper!
• Dica (10/5): A wonderful experience in Venice - A wonderful experience in Venice. The location is very close to San Marco square, the center, terraces and points of interest. The apartment is located next to a small canal, a beautiful view, very nicely decorated in Venetian style, clean and quiet. Very friendly hosts, they helped us with a lot of useful information. I highly recommend for a few unforgettable days in Venice.
