Amy (6/5): Could have been better! - The reviews for this property were very high, which was why I booked it. It looked like an Ikea showhome. There were numerous problems: 1. States there is a washing machine. There was no washing machine. 2. The windows kept out zero noise. The apartment is just off a busy road leading into Rome and so during rush hour it was incredibly busy, and therefore very noisy. 3. One of the windows had a giant crack running along it. 4. The cutlery drawer was broken, with the handle and screws inside the drawer. This should have been fixed. It made opening the drawer very annoying. 5. The area the apartment is in is clearly one of the poorer neighbourhoods. The streets were absolutely filthy and I felt disgusting walking to and from the train station. There was a lot of rubbish right outside the apartment building, which was gross. 6. The walls were paper thin. We could hear everything our neighbours did, who have young kids who make a lot of noise. It was not remotely quiet. When the neighbours were arguing, it was like having a front row seat. Overall, the noise from the street and the neighbours really impacted my stay here.
