• Angela (10/5): A true gem in San Marco - Fantastic location in San Marco. Quiet. Close to the heart of things. Beautifully decorated, spacious, huge bathroom. Highly recommended.
• hamel (9/5): - Le plus impressionnant fut l'accueil. Tout fut fait par whatsapp. L'hôte nous a demande d'où on arrivait et par quel moyen de transport. Il nous a indique la navette a prendre, à même ajouté google map pour nous indiquer comment s'y rendre au débarquement du water bus. Une arrivée sans inquiétude. Un peu frais dans le condo et la documentation n'indiquait pas le bon fonctionnement pour monter le chauffage. Le tour est contrôlé à distance par l'hôte.

When asked how to utilise the oven facility, we initially didn’t receive a response for >24 hours after we had already bought food to cook!

Der Check in war perfekt. Preis-Leistung für Venedig in Ordnung! Guter WhatsApp Kontakt! Die Küchenausstattung wäre verbesserungswürdig.(Brotmesser, scharfes Küchenmesser, Dessertschalen, ein vernünftiges Schneidebrett)Die Informationen zur speziellen venezianischen Abfallentsorgung könnten deutlicher und detaillierter sein. Jammern auf hohem Niveau!Ansonsten alles perfekt. Wir würden wieder buchen.

• Kathryn (6/5): Decent, but nothing updated. - The best part was how easy it was to get from the vaporetto to the apt and NO stairs to get inside the apt! Great hot water. The fridge was an Italian full size, not the tiny little college dorm style. The bed was okay, but not too comfy. The couch was like sitting on a steel plate, VERY uncomfortable. The tv was not a smart tv, so no Netflix, Prime, etc…

Appartement charmant avec vue sur un canal depuis la chambre mais sombre. Il est situé au rez-de-chaussée. La disponibilité des propriétaires. Les équipements pour la cuisine, il y a tout ce qu’il faut. La porte de la douche qui ne ferme pas. Le frigo n’était pas assez froid. Pas très bien isolé.

• Lauren (10/5): Perfect Venice stay on canal - Truly incredible. Walkable to everything, right on a canal, first floor, kitchen to make food. It’s the perfect size for 2-3 people. The shower door didn’t seal properly but it’s just a little water.

The road outside the window had major traffic from travelers rolling their suitcases at late night and early morning, which affected our sleep. The wifi was not working smoothly for a day.

• Robert (7/5): Reasonable stay - Nice apartment, well located Not a fan of the self check-in. We had to wait to get in because the cleaner had taken the key with him to do the laundry. And, having to send photos of our documents is extra work as well for us; we wonder about the safety of this practice. Also, making us responsible for taking out the garbage seems a lot. It feels like we are doing the staff’s job. The television didn’t have a signal. The shower door doesn’t close.
• Rita (9/5): Great Find - Excellent location near vaporreto station San Angelo and not far from Saint Mark's Square. Close to restaurants, shops, and food market. Hostess was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Minor issue, but it waa s difficult to see the door keyhole at night due to poor lighting.

• Charles (9/5): Beautiful, comfortable, perfect! - Having a view of a canal from the bedroom was so cool. Not a busy canal street either, so that was nice. Location to S. Angelo ferry is superb! Host was kind, and very informative. Seamless check in, and nice to meet host. Other than location mentioned below, this was FANTASTIC! Location was close enough, and Venice is definitely walkable, but it was 10-20 mins away from the “main spots”. Fine for a young couple like us, but might be worth noting if you want to be right in the heart of all of it.

• Matthew (7/5): Great location in the heart of Venice, but a bit aged. - Location is everything with this property. You’re right on a canal with a view for the iconic Venice experience, plus everything is walkable from key attractions to restaurants and a lively piazzo. The pictures online hide the true age and wear and tear of the property. Nothing is egregious to where it’ll ruin your trip, but just expect to notice a lot more things when your arrive that you’ll be working around. Broken lights, hardware falling off if you’re not careful, limited amenities, etc.

• Joanne (9/5): Short break in La Serenissima - Apartment was comfortable and well equipped, and just as featured in the listing and photos. The location could not have been better - so close to the water bus stop, which meant we could easily reach the rest of the city, close to a beautiful square with restaurants and gelato, and close to charming canals and passages (lots of photos) that lead to St Marks, the Rialto, or Academia within an easy walk. This was a great find. The host was helpful and arrangements straightforward. Would highly recommend.

• Peter (10/5): A beautiful apartment for two in a quiet, scenic and very convenient location. - We had a great stay here. The location is ideal - 2 minutes walk from the San Angelo stop on the Grand Canal. 8 minutes walk max to Rialto Bridge. 5 minutes walk to Academia bridge. The apartment was clean, traditional but well fitted out. Would stay here again for sure. Very nice vibe. Really can't find fault. The kids upstairs ran around incessantly all morning - but they may have been guests, not residents!! Never a fan of just getting one key only.

Unfortunately the apartment needs a few repairs, some that have been mentioned on reviews for quite a while - i was hoping they would have been addressed, but i was disappointed that they weren’t. For example the shower door doesn’t shut, and the towel rail and front door curtain pole, come off the wall. I would seek assurance that repairs have been made before booking.

• David (5/5): Good location with average facilities - The property was in a good location. Nice big bathroom. Bed comfortable Wifi was unreliable. The air conditioner leaked water constantly while in use onto the floor. The bedroom blind does not work.
• Cindie (10/5): After finally finding it, so easy yet tricky, we adored our little apartment! - The location and coziness! Having a washer in the apartment after a long trip was very helpful! The tv didn’t work well. We were not there to watch tv but at the end if our day it would have been nice to catch up on world events.
• Amber (7/5): Great unless you are expecting something really nice and fully operable. - Fantastic location! Quiet area. Helpful and responsive host. Cute and spacious apartment. Well appointed kitchen. Some things didn’t work. Shower door didn’t close, so water would escape on the floor. Only 1 towel per person for a 3-night stay. Window shades were broken so you couldn’t enjoy the water view. No top sheet to separate your body from the scratchy bedspread. Just a little shabby on facilities.
• Natalie (8/5): Very good - The location was great for exploring Venice, on a quiet canal. The canal view window was fantastic. The apartment is just as advertised, with all amenities. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. It is close to the Accademia Bridge with lots of restaurants close by. We did have an issue with mosquitos; there was many many mosquitos in the apartment and even with swatting them and using bug spray, we got multiple bites. We thought we killed most of them, but the next night seemed like the same amount or more. It appears that they are getting into the apartment; possibly through the air conditioner? We did not have any open windows during our stay. The hosts were very responsive with this issue.

• Douglas (10/5): Would happily stay there again - We chose this location as center of things we wanted to walk to and was perfect for that. Ground floor unit had no view but had a window onto a little canal is all we wanted and very few boats down that small canal so very quiet was great. Apartment had everything we needed. Could do with some simple maintenance to make the shower door close, the fridge door to close and to stop the towel rails falling off the wall. Needs a power board in the kitchen for the 3 appliances and one socket. Minor issues really.

Easy walk to Accademia Bridge, Rialto Bridge and so much more. So comfortable and the host was easy to contact. I would have liked privacy curtains on the front door and window.

I have been trying several places in Venice for the past 20 years or so and I wish I had heard of this before. location is superb, a stone trow away from the St Angelo line 1 vaporetto stop so YOU DO NOT NEED TO DRAG your luggage for too long. Numerous bars in Piazza Sn Stefano right behind for breakfast. The apartment was recently refurbished with very good taste (even Bizazza tiles in the bathroom - for the connoisseur) , is very quiet and has a lovely view on a waterway right behind the house. You basically can see the gondolas pass in front of you from the bedroom ! Owner is helpful and will provide practical information. Kitchen space very clean and all appliances available even a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and a wash machine, Nothing frankly

The flat was always warm and super cosy - such a relief after walking all day in Venice in winter. Can’t recommend enough!!! The living room area with the table and sofa could be organised a bit better as there is a lot of unused space.

Close to a vaparetto stop so easy access to the sights. Kitchen not very well equipped. Bare minimum. On the other hand there are many cafes and restaurants close.

We felt we were staying in a local area, but at the same time, super close to everything. It was. Nice change from hotels and having the space of apartment made the experience. Also, we had a few questions and needed some help being in Venice and chatting with the Owner on Whatapp - he went out of his way to help us. We will book again when next in Venice There was nothing we disliked
• Neil (6/5): Pleasant - Very convenient location, close to water buses on Grand Canal and to many city centre features, restaurants etc The apartment is a little tired looking, in need of some upgrade. Bathroom wash hand basic had a faulty plug mechanism so the plug could not be used. The shower door did not close properly and the shower area needed at least a resealing but preferably replacing. All in all it did not merit the high charge.

• Crystal (7/5): Comfortable and great value. - The space is a great value for the location. The bed is comfortable and having the washer in the space was awesome since we had already been in Italy for over a week. The room had a pretty overpowering smell of cleaner. This may not bother everyone but I’m pretty sensitive and had a bad headache the forest day.
• Jamie (7/5): Great location & good size. - Best aspect, it’s great location, good size for 2 people. Easy to get to from airport by vaporetto. Had reasonable amenities. Aircon was great, as it was hot during our stay. Owner easy to contact and was helpful. Apt needs an update, furnishings are such a mish mash & it looks very tired. Could look fabulous with a makeover. Curtains don’t work properly. Coming off rail- so difficult to close at night . And don’t give proper privacy at night on street side. Whilst one can open windows, as has no fly screens, can’t , as let’s in mosquitoes. Also, kitchen well appointed,however has only one PowerPoint. So in order to use coffee machine, jug or microwave had to remove cord of appliance each time. whilst this is ok. However, PowerPoint is loose and needs to be fixed. As kept coming out of wall! Safety issue.

• Pillay (7/5): It was a lovely clean apartment to come home to after two days of exploring Venice. - Very clean and central to attractions. Great place if you wanted to have home cooked meals! A bit of a damp smell in the apartment. Tried to keep the windows open as much as possible.

Could not control our own temperature. Problem with the towel warmer in bathroom. Could of used a better drape for privacy in the front window.
• John (4/5): Disappointing - Good location between Rialto and San Marco Alvise, the host, is a nice guy and gave us a good service. Heating did not work stably. The heating boiler kept shutting itself down. Some of the facilities are quite worn and need replacement. The apartment is not well maintained.
• Rv (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very helpful in guiding us to the proper water stop, where he met us upon arrival. He provided a map and highlighted several attractions that helped during our stay. The location was central to all our activities. Provided a real sense of Venice living. The Canal outside the window added to the Venetian experience. The apartment had all the amenities necessary for a nice visit. The bedding was sub par. No top sheet, so it was the comforter or nothing. The apt. is directly on the water so you need to be able to tolerate humidity. No AC in sight, but I didn't inquire.
• Salwa (8/5): a small apartment typical of Venice dwellings. very old building. Needs a lot of upgrading especially the kitchen. but v - the location around my most favorite Campo, Campo Sto Stefano the apartment is street level so it was quite noisy with pedestrians most of the time

• Jennifer (9/5): Nice place for a couple - Very happy with our stay here in this studio. Decent location in a residential neighborhood, five min walk to a boat station and 10-15 minute walk to main bridges across the Gran Canal. Kitchen well appointed with basic seasonings. Appreciated washing machine. Helpful host. Next to a very quiet canal. Minor things that weren’t a big deal: dark even during the day, and lacks good storage like shelves in closet. The key was sticky and made it a little challenging.
• Kate (9/5): Great value charming excellent location. - Perfect location quiet courtyard yet near a lovely eatery square and close to vaporreto stop and walk to many attractions including St Marks Square. Loved the view of canal out the window. Very comfortable lovely apartment, good washing machine. Expect a few steps with your luggage to get there.
• James (9/5): A great base that is away from the crowds of tourists, allowing you to see the real Venice. - The location was great and easy to get as it was less than a 5 minute walk from a vaporetto boat (line 1) stop. It was also by a square which had restaurants and a church with classical music playing in the evening. The unit was huge, given it was Venice. We could watch boats go by our window as we were vy the water (see photo taken from our picture window). Had a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The bed was quite comfortable. It is an old building, though we thought that added character. While there were tourists in this area, it was not in the crowded tourist area which was also nice (see photo of nearby square). It was also easy to get anywhere from this room, and get back for a break if tired. We had a miscommunication about getting into our room. We waited at the vaporetto stop for half an hour sending emails and waiting for him to show up. We finally were able to call and he gave us directions and there was a lock box on the door with the key. This was Sunday. He came by Tuesday morning to do the paperwork and gave us an idea of where to walk and what to see. It would have been nice to have had this on Sunday. On the other hand, he did let us check in early on Sunday which was nice.
